-William Regal kicks off the show and announces the main event for tonight will be Kevin Owens defending the NXT Title against Finn Balor.

Other matches for tonight include Sami Zayn vs Rhyno and Hideo Itami vs Tyler Breeze in a 2 out of 3 falls match.

The event’s dark match saw The Vaudevillians defeat Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder.

Taped for the 3/18 episode of NXT:

-Finn Balor defeated Tye Dillinger with a top tope double foot stomp.

Tyler Breeze then cut a promo on Balor from the back via the big screen.

-Bayley vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte in a #1 contender’s match is next.

Becky Lynch defeats Charlotte and Bayley after pinning Bayley while Charlotte had the Figure Four applied to Bayley.


WWE announces the next set of NXT TV tapings will take place on April 23rd, so it seems as if tonight’s tapings will take the brand through March and most of April.

-Hideo Itami vs CJ Parker.

Hideo Itami gets the pin fall victory.

-Rhino defeats a local jobber in a squash match after hitting the gore.

-Kevin Owens vs Alex Riley. Riley didn’t do much, and Owens got the pin fall win after hitting the power bomb. Owens tries to hit Riley with the powerbomb on the outside, but Sami Zayn comes out to make the save. Owens and Zayn brawl until security comes out to break them up. Zayn then takes out all of the security team and Owens after hitting a somersault off the top ropes. The crowd goes nuts for the spot and Owens retreats to the back.

This appears to be the end of the 3/18 episode.

Taped for the 4/1 episode of NXT:

-Tye Dillinger vs Jason Jordan. Jordan gets the pin fall victory.

-Emma vs Bayley. Emma gets the pinfall victory, and Bill notes she continues to tease a heel turn as she wasn’t doing her typical routine before and after the match.

-WWE NXT Tag Champs Blake and Murphy vs The Lucha Dragons. Blake and Murphy get the pin fall victory.

-Sami Zayn then cuts a promo saying he will be using his rematch clause against Kevin Owens to regain the NXT Title.

-Rhino defeated another local jobber, then grabbed a mic and announce he intends to challenge for the NXT Title.

-Hideo Itami vs Tyler Breeze in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match. Itami wins the first fall, then Tyler Breeze wins the next two falls with the Beauty Kick, to win the match. Bill describes this as an excellent match, and the likely end of the 4/1 episode.

Taped for the 4/8 episode of NXT:

-Solomon Crowe defeated CJ Parker via submission.

-Baron Corbin defeated a local jobber and fans once again counted to see how long it would take Corbin to win. He hit End of Days for the pin fall at 30 seconds into the match.

-Big Cass and Enzo Amore vs. Shoot Nation’s Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton.

Blake and Murphy come out to ringside during the match and give Carmella flowers. This enrages Big Cass, who dominates Dawkins and Fulton until Enzo hits the splash for the pin fall win.

-NXT Diva Dana Brooke makes her TV debut and wins a match against Blue Pants.

-In the main event of this episode, Sami Zayn defeated Rhino via pin fall after hitting the Helluva Kick.

Bill notes the crowd is massively behind Rhino, as they are Zayn, and they popped big when Rhino announced he’s going after the NXT Title.

Taped for the 4/15 episode of NXT:

-Sasha Banks defeats Alexa Bliss via submission in an NXT Women’s Title match.

-Kevin Owens vs Finn Balor for the NXT Title is next. Bill notes it’s an amazing back and forth match, and Owens wins with the power bomb.
