After weeks of suspicion and contemplation, the mystery man known for his "Coming Endure 2013" videos has been revealed to be none other than the son of legendary wrestler Thomas Barnez, Jerod. After introducing himself, Jerod decided he wanted to make a big impact in his very first night with XWA, as he called out anybody on the roster for a one on one singles match. Who would answer his call? The veteran Minkaro. Minkaro stated that he never got the chance to wrestle the legendary father of Jerod and, now that he's retired, he wants the next best thing; a match against his son. Thus, the stage was set. Minkaro versus Jerod Barnez in a battle to test whether Minkaro still has it and if Jerod will be able to live up to his father's legacy. This match is very important for both competitors, as they look to gain momentum heading into next month's King of Xtreme tournament. A win here would surely get them noticed and confident as they look to take out all of the competition in the most extreme tournament in XWA history, assuming either of them even make the cut for the tournament. Who will be the victor tonight? Let's find out.

DING! DING! DING!

The bell is rung thrice as XWA official Ryu Sanu called for it to signal the beginning of this contest. The two men circle one another, slowly crawling closer to each other in the process. Jerod extends his hands out for a test of strength. Obviously, he would have the advantage. Not only is he five inches taller, but he's also forty-eight pounds heavier. Regardless, being a man of honor and bravery, Minkaro accepts the challenge. It starts off surprisingly even, but after a short period of time Jerod gains the upper-hand, bending Minkaro backwards to the point where his back nearly touches the canvas. The veteran superstar fights back, however, as he slowly manages to push himself back up to a near vertical base, surprisingly being able to match up with his heavier opponent. Without warning, Jerod lets go of Minkaro's hands and quickly flips him onto the canvas with a Side Headlock Takedown, keeping the hold applied. Minkaro kicks his feet off the canvas out of frustration as he was caught off guard by his opponent. Nevertheless, he looks to fight his way out of the Headlock as he tries to make it back to his feet. Once he successfully does so, he pushes back towards the ropes to gain a little leverage and squeeze his head free, before pushing Jerod away and sending the bigger man running to the opposing side of the ring where he ricochets off of the ropes. Minkaro quickly drops down and lets Jerod run over him, continuing until he rebounds off of the ropes again. This time, he returns to view an attempted Spinning Heel Kick from Minkaro, but he's able to catch the foot of his legendary opponent. Quickly, Jerod slams his opponent's foot down, lifts him into the air and drills him into the canvas with a ring-shaking Spinebuster! The audience look on, a few fans cheering the impactful move, as the match continues.

Ted Cedar
"Interesting start to this match as Jerod takes Minkaro down with a painful Spinebuster."

Adam Dennis
"This guy's got the size and, I have to say, I'm thinking he has the talent too. I mean, he's a second generation star, with his father being the legendary Thomas Barnez. Talent must run through his family."

Jerod looks at the downed Minkaro as he walks around him, contemplating where he should go from here. With an idea coming to his head, Jerod bends over and grabs his opponent by the hair, whilst yanking him back to his feet. He applies a Front Chancery, wrapping Minkaro's arm around his neck and quickly flipping him back onto the canvas with a Snap Suplex that he transitions into a pin attempt. One! Tw—Early kickout! Jerod doesn't let the kick out bother him, as he was sure his adversary would kick out this early in the contest. He just wanted to make him use more energy kicking out. The son of Thomas Barnez drags his much smaller opponent over to the nearest corner of the ring and leans him back-first against it. Ryu tells Barnez to back off, but he ignores the referee for the time being, instead choosing to drill into Minkaro's mid-section with repeated Shoulder Thrusts until Ryu reached a count of four, almost disqualifying the big man. He quickly backs away, putting both hands in the air to show that he's not touching his opponent. In a quick second, Jerod goes for a punch to Minkaro, but "The Lone Wolf" side-steps it and now it is him that has his opposition backed into the corner. The audience cheers as Minkaro nails repeated punch after punch to the stomach of his second generation opponent, each punch as quick as the last. Minkaro takes a few steps back before running at his opponent, leaping into the air and landing a picture perfect Stinger Splash that causes Jerod to stumble out of the turnbuckle groggily. Quickly, the long-haired superstar ascends to the middle turnbuckle and waits for Jerod to turn around. Once he does, he leaps off in an attempt for a Crossbody. Showcasing his incredible strength, Barnez manages to catch Minkaro mid-air before tossing him backwards with a big Fallaway Slam! Minkaro's body bounces off of the canvas and rolls to the other side of the ring, as Jerod shakes off the effects of the Stinger Splash.

Ted Cedar
"Great Fallaway Slam by Jerod, right there. This guy's definitely got strength, as he was able to catch and toss Minkaro like it was nothing, and Minkaro isn't a small man."

Adam Dennis
"Hey, I'm impressed so far, Ted. I just hope he can keep this up. The best thing for Minkaro to do right now is just survive. Bigger guys usually have less stamina than the smaller men in wrestling and, therefore, don't do as well in the latter part of matches if they become long. We already know Minkaro can handle long matches, but can Jerod?"

Jerod waits for Minkaro to get back to a vertical base. Once he does, "The Descendant of a God" rushes at him, looking to decapitate him with a Clothesline. Minkaro ducks under this attempted move, however, and runs to the ropes. After rebounding off of them, he ducks a second Clothesline attempt, continuing to run. This time, he rebounds the ropes, but something else was waiting for him. Jerod grabs Minkaro under the armpits and launches him into the air, before connecting with a brilliant European Uppercut dubbed the Falcon Punch! Some audience members cheer from the maneuver, but most boo; Jerod not yet having won them over. Regardless, the big man drops down to go for a cover. One! Two! Kickout just after two! Wasting little time, he goes to pick up Minkaro to his feet, but the smaller man begins to fight back with body shot after body shot. He manages to make it back to a perpendicular base whilst still fight off his opponent, now taking the punches to his head. After landing a few repeated punches, Minkaro goes for a second Spinning Heel Kick attempt, this one landing to perfection and knocking Jerod down. The audience cheers as Minkaro goes for the pin. One! Kickout almost instantly! Minkaro doesn't fret, instead beginning to clap in an attempt to get the audience clapping in rhythm. Naturally, it works, and the audience's clapping helps pump Minkaro up. He heads to the opposing side of the ring, crouching in the corner and perhaps looking to put this thing away early with his finishing Spear. The crowd continues to clap as Jerod makes his way back to his feet. Once he sees the opportunity, Minkaro runs at his opponent, but Barnez side-steps him and the English superstar goes shoulder-first into the steel post! Slowly, he pulls himself out of the corner, favoring his arm in the process, only to be drilled with a Big Boot from Jerod that sends him tumbling through the ropes. Fortunately for Minkaro, he manages to land on the apron. Unfortunately for him, Jerod was aware of this and he gets on the apron behind his opponent. Applying a Waist Lock, Jerod has big plans. He pulls Minkaro backwards with a German Suplex off of the apron, sending Minkaro crashing head-first into the steel steps! Audience members cringe at the sight of this as Ryu begins a ten count.

Ted Cedar
"Jerod lands a huge German Suplex off of the apron! The back of Minkaro's head hit hard off of those steel steps!"

Adam Dennis
"Absolutely freaking brutal."

On the outside of the ring, Jerod isn't worried about the official's ten count; having plenty of time to get back in. He walks around Minkaro, looking at his downed adversary whilst his head fills with possible scenarios to go to from here. Eventually, a plan formulates in his mind as he picks the smaller man up and pulls him away from the steel steps, only to wrap his arms around his mid-section and run straight into the side of the ring, sending Minkaro back-first into the ring's apron! Following this, he grabs Minkaro by his head, pulls him over to the commentary table and launches him straight across it, sending him crashing into the commentators! The audience lets out a strongly mixed response to Minkaro being man-handled as he is. Realizing Ryu is starting to reach dangerous waters with his count, Jerod slides into the ring and back out of it, forcing him to break up the count. The newcomer certainly doesn't want his first victory in XWA to be via count-out. He heads back over to the commentary table, pushing people out of the way to get to Minkaro, whom he grabs by his hair and yanks back up to his feet. He lifts the English man onto his shoulder and carries him back to the ring, before sliding him in. Afterwards, the big man grabs the middle rope and pulls himself onto the apron. As he enters the squared circle, Minkaro slowly begins getting back to his feet, reaching all fours before Jerod drops a hard knee into the back of his head, keeping him in place. With Minkaro right where he wants him, down on the canvas, Jerod looks out at the crowd and lets out a monstrous scream akin to Roman Reigns, receiving a very mixed reaction. The cheers and jeers from the fans put a smirk on Jerod's face, as he's just happy to be receiving a reaction of any kind. Focusing back on the task at hand, he lifts Minkaro back up to his feet, only to slam him back down on the canvas with a Bodyslam, making sure to position his opponent's body just right. The big man then does something a bit surprising for a man of his stature; he begins ascending the nearest turnbuckle! The audience gets loud with cheers as they weren't expecting this. Upon reaching the very top of the turnbuckle, Jerod looks out at the crowd with a smile before leaping backwards and attempting a picture perfect Moonsault! Well, it would've been picture perfect had Minkaro not rolled out of the way at the last second! "This Is Awe-Some" chants begin to be heard all throughout the arena, as the audience expresses their surprise at Jerod being able to do such a big aerial move, despite it not connecting.

Adam Dennis
"Son of a bitch, a Moonsault? He missed, but God damn, that was impressive."

Ted Cedar
"It certainly was, partner. Almost as impressive as it was for Minkaro to move out of the way, in the state he's in. He's still gotta be dizzy after that German Suplex earlier."

Minkaro gets back to his feet, as does Jerod, though he's a tad bit slower to get up after taking such a big fall. "The Bionic Technician" immediately takes his adversary down with a Clothesline. Jerod is quick to get back to his feet, only to be taken down by a second Clothesline. This time he's slower to get up, allowing Minkaro more time to plan a stronger attack. As such, he goes for something bigger this time when Jerod gets up; a Superkick! Unfortunately for the long-bearded superstar, Jerod was able to kick him by the foot like he did earlier in the contest. He doesn't go for a Spinebuster this time, however, instead tripping Minkaro, flipping him onto his stomach and applying his submission finisher, the Ankle Lock dubbed the Detroit Lock! Audience members again let out a very mixed reaction, as this one could be over any second now. Minkaro's screams of pain are almost drowned out by the loud audience, as he tries desperately to get to the bottom rope, but Jerod won't budge. Thinking quickly, Minkaro rolls onto his stomach and goes to kick Jerod off of him, successfully managing to knock the big man down, but not successfully managing to make him let go. Jerod gets back up to his feet, quickly, flipping Minkaro back onto his stomach and still keeping the Detroit Lock applied. Minkaro can only think of one other possible option at this point and so he goes with it, doing a front roll. The roll not only successfully causes Jerod to let go of Minkaro's ankle, but also causes him to go flipping through the ropes and to the outside of the ring! The audience cheers as Minkaro makes it back to his feet, with a bit of a limp. Seeing Jerod getting up slowly on the outside of the ring, he limps his way over to the closest corner before climbing to the very top turnbuckle. The man with a legendary beard leaps off the top turnbuckle, diving out of the ring and wrapping his arm around Jerod's head, spinning and drilling him into the floor with a huge Tornado DDT! The audience goes wild with cheers after the huge maneuver as Ryu starts a ten count again.

Ted Cedar
"Minkaro managed to reverse the Detroit Lock, just as it looked like this one would be over, and landed a huge Tornado DDT! What a risk and what a reward!"

Adam Dennis
"Hey, Minkaro is a ballsy guy. There's no denying that. Can he get Jerod in the ring and pin him, though?"

Minkaro slowly makes it back to his feet, still favoring his injured ankle. He takes a brief moment to slap hands with a few fans in the front row, while Jerod is still down. Noticing, out of the corner of his eye, Jerod getting back to his feet, Minkaro turns his focus back on him. He grabs Jerod by the head and trunks, tossing him back into the ring and sliding in after him. "The Technical Messiah" waits for his opponent to start getting up and, when the timing is just right, he runs in and leaps into the air looking to land his Fameasser dubbed the Famous Last Words! Jerod proves his agility, however, as he pushes himself backwards just in time to avoid the maneuver. Minkaro quickly tries to turn around before Barnez can take advantage, but all he sees is the big man running straight towards him, looking to land his finishing maneuver; the Gore! Minkaro thinks quickly and acts even quicker as he jumps up, wrapping his arm around his opponent's head and his legs around his opponent's mid-section, successfully reversing the Gore into a Guillotine Choke! Barnez collapses to the canvas, with the weight of his opponent, and Minkaro applies as much pressure as he possibly can, looking to make the big man pass out. At first, Jerod tries to fight his way to the ropes. However, as he inches closer, he begins to feel drowsy, as the pressure of the Guillotine Choke starts to get to him. His effort to make it to the rope all but disappears as his body begins to go limp. Ryu sees this and immediately goes for the traditional triple hand drop to see if Jerod will be unable to continue. He drops Jerod's hand one time successfully. The audience is cheering heavily, as Minkaro may win it, though some fans are actually beginning to cheer for Jerod a bit more, having liked what they've seen from him in this match. Ryu drops Jerod's hand a second time. Finally, he goes for the final hand drop, but Jerod blocks it! He keeps his hand in the air and suddenly life comes back into his body; running on adrenaline. Jerod pushing upwards with his feet as much as he can and wraps his arms around the body of his opponent, showcasing his immense power by lifting Minkaro into the air whilst the hold is still applied! Jerod stands up entirely erect, holding onto his opposition, before falling forward with as much momentum as he can muster to drill Minkaro into the canvas with a huge Spinebuster; the impact causing the Shrewsbury-native to release the hold! Fans all around the arena applaud the effort of these two men.

Ted Cedar
"Brilliant showcasing of strength right there by Jerod Barnez! I thought this one was over for sure."

Adam Dennis
"As did I, Ted. As did I. This guy just keeps proving that he isn't some new name in the company. He's Thomas Barnez's son and he wants us all to remember that."

Both men are down right now. Minkaro because he just got hit with a wicked Spinebuster and Jerod due to fatigue. He was just in a Guillotine Choke for a good while, after all. Ryu begins a count to ten that could potentially end in a draw. The audience members cheer wildly, trying to will either man back to their feet as they'd hate for this one to end that way. Slowly but surely, both men begin to stir. They leisurely begin getting back to their feet by the count of six and both make it to erect bases just before the count of ten. This is immediately followed by a straight punch from Jerod to Minkaro, wasting absolutely no time. Minkaro replies with a punch of his own and the two now begin exchanging slow, but heavy shots. With the fatigue both men feel by this point in the match, each punch feels like a bullet piercing through their skin. A shot from Jerod, a shot from Minkaro, a shot from Jerod, a shot from Minkaro; on and on and on. Eventually, Minkaro lands a punch so hard, it sends Jerod stumbling backwards, spinning around and walking into the ropes. Quickly, Minkaro jumps up from behind Jerod and attempts to land his Zig Zag dubbed the Arockalypse; his finishing move! Unfortunately for "The Last Rock & Roll Star", Jerod was smart enough to grab the top rope, preventing him from being pulled backwards. Minkaro's grip slips away from his opponent and he goes falling backwards into the canvas, before rolling a few feet back. He tries to make it back to his feet as quickly as possible, but perhaps he should've stayed down as he's immediately greeted upon reaching a vertical base. What is he greeted with, you ask? A Gore! The audience erupts into cheers, with only a small section of die-hard Minkaro fans booing, as Jerod lays his opposition out cold with his finishing move. He immediately goes for the pin, following it. One! Two! Three!

DING! DING! DING!

Ted Cedar
"He did it! Jerod defeats Minkaro at Endure!"

Adam Dennis
"I knew there was something special about this guy, Ted. I just knew it."

Jerod gets back to his feet, slowly, still feeling the effects of that earlier Guillotine Choke. "Killing In The Name" by Rage Against The Machine hits the PA System.

Laura Watts
"Here is your winner, by pinfall, Jerod Barnez!"

Jerod stumbles a bit, as he tries to regain his composure following one hell of a match. Meanwhile, Minkaro is slowly getting back to his feet. Barnez sees this and tries to help him back up, but the 2WWF League of Legends inductee pushes his former opponent back, clearly not wanting his help. He gets back to his feet, as Jerod looks at him, realizing he's upset that he just lost. The two men stare down one another.

Ted Cedar
"Oh boy. Explosive elements here."

The two men continue to glare at each other, when suddenly…Jerod extends his arm out for a handshake. Minkaro looks at him, a bit taken back by the offer. Nevertheless, he swallows his pride and accepts the handshake, as the fans cheer for an epic match coming to its close. The two let go of each other's hands and Minkaro exits the ring, letting Jerod celebrate by himself.

Ted Cedar
"Great showcase of sportsmanship right there."

Jerod celebrates in the ring as the scene cuts to a promo for next month's King of Xtreme tournament.
