Imo: There are some that are trustworthy. Because 70% of the time PWI or Dirt sheets like them are right about things. I mean last year around this time many didn't believe the dirt sheets when they talked about Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan was going to be a match. However months later Daniel Confirmed that was the plan.

However there are some dirt sheets that are trustable as that one newspaper that always talks about big foot, reptile people and shit. And others just copy the bigger dirt sheets.

Well sadly just like our real life news sources some people just make shit up. I just got a subscription to The Wrestling Observer last month. I'm very happy with the service and I don't feel like anyone on that site is talking out their ass.

Dirtsheets are trustworthy most of the time when it comes to match rumors and stuff like that. Same with call ups and certain returns

I think they just apply common sense for a lot of things and are often correct.

Agreed with Chilly on the part where "Common sense prevails."

All you have to do is use common sense. There are articles that are completely normal/make sense, IE:

"PPV buy rates were ??? and ratings were ??? and numbers and facts."

Then there are those that just sound like complete BS on the spot:

"Plans are for WWE to have Sheamus and Daniel Bryan face off in the show opener because they want to push Roman Reigns and have John Cena win every title and bury Ziggler, Ambrose, and Wyatt because the IWC likes them."

Then when none of that happens:

"WWE changed their mind because they saw how fans reacted to our article, that's why none of that happened lol."

Well yeah, the WWE is known for changing shit on the fly a lot, so of course there's no way for stuff to be completely accurate.

Meltzer, Alvarez, and PWI are trustworthy, and even then they all throw out that they're being told things by people, not that it's happening. The main issue is second hand sheets. Just as an example, the whole Punk returns thing with Melzter got turned into "Meltzer says Punk is 100% coming back" when what Meltzer actually said was pretty much "a source said he's 100% coming back but I don't think he is".
