The New Beginning in Osaka” and “The New Beginning in Sendai” are the next two major events from New Japan Pro Wrestling set to air live on the New Japan World streaming network.

The 2/11 show from Osaka will be headlined by Hiroshi Tanahashi defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against AJ Styles. Styles, the former champion, put himself back in contention with a huge win over Naito at Wrestle Kingdom, followed up with a pin over Tanahashi in a big 8-man tag match the following night.

The 2/14 show from Sendai will be headlined by Shinsuke Nakamura defending the IWGP Intercontinental Championship against Yuji Nagata, following a phenomenal title defense at Wrestle Kingdom.

“The Road to The New Beginning” continues this week, as the promotion tours around Japan hyping up the 2/11 and 2/14 events. The tour kicked off on 1/30 from the Tokorozawa Civic Gymnasium, and continued on 2/1 from Korakuen Hall.

Cody Hall, son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall (aka Razor Ramon) will make his debut with New Japan at the 2/2 show, as a part of a huge 10-man tag team match. Cody will be getting some excellent exposure in a match with world champion Hiroshi Tanahashi, as well as four other members of the Bullet Club.
