As is the case every year, the 30 man over-the-top-rope Royal Rumble match features returning names and surprise names, and this year looks to be no different.

As we exclusively reported earlier in the week, Rob Van Dam is expected to be one of the surprise names in the Royal Rumble match this year.

Additionally, WWE has had recent talks with The Dudley Boyz, and they are also rumored (but not confirmed) names for the Rumble match.

Bo Dallas is expected to be making his return to WWE TV in the Royal Rumble match. Dallas has been out of action dealing with an injury since November of last year.

A long shot named being rumored for the match, as he has a prior commitment that day, is Diamond Dallas Page.

Finally, Randy Orton has been advertised for WWE events (including the Royal Rumble PPV) for quite sometime now, and has not yet made his return to WWE TV. This has lead to much speculation that he will be returning in the Royal Rumble match, and according to many readers, he is already a strong favorite to win the bout.

If they're supposed to be surprises, why in hell leaking out / speculating about them?
I remember when I marked out like a crazy ass teen when the unknown entrants would only be known when they were about to show up. Now it's just not funny at all.

Why would Orton be a favorite? He's more than likely facing Rollins at Mania

I checked it constantly, like everyday. They were never on there. There was a commentary moment on Main Event where Michael Cole said something like "Daniel Bryan will be joining these three men" and it was those three. But WWE never listed it on the website.

So, with the exception of Justin, Diego & Fernando are rumored participants.

Update (for Bo Dallas):

WrestleZone reported that former NXT star Bo Dallas has now been confirmed to show up at the Royal Rumble. There has been no specific mention of what Dallas could do, but since he won’t be in one of the individual matches, it’s expected for him to be in the battle royal.

The official announcement actually came from the NXT Facebook page in a bit of a subtle post.
