- According to Konnan, Jim Ross has been in talks with El Rey Network and AAA for a potential regular announcing gig with Lucha Underground. Konnan revealed the news on his latest podcast. He said he wasn’t sure if, were Ross to come to terms, he would rotate with Matt Striker and Vampiro in two-man teams or if they would work as a three-man team.

As previously reported, Lucha Underground officials have been interested in Ross in the past as an announcer.
