XTREME ICON VS. JHALC
SINGLES MATCH

Xtreme Icon: Your flow needs a lot of work. Your punctuation is bad, but that's not a big deal. The main problem I have is your descriptions. You do one thing I always tell people not to do and that's rely on the names of the characters too often. What I mean is your post is basically "JHalc did this. Icon did that." over and over. Try mixing it up with nicknames a bit more often and other ways of identifying the characters. You did used a nickname here or there, but it was mostly just the wrestlers' names, which makes the post flow repetitive. Read some of the work of people like Kani, Rob and Mick to get a good idea of what to do with your descriptions. I'd also suggest using the real names of signature moves in the descriptions, while also using the name of the signature move. For instance, Danny's finisher is a Superkick to the throat called the Sudden Death. Whenever I use it, I say something like "Danny snaps his foot into the air, drilling it into the throat of his opponent with the Superkick he calls the Sudden Death!" Sometimes just describing a move isn't enough to make people understand it. Moving on, your post was really short. Like, I put quality above quantity, but you need some time of quantity to have quality. Having Icon kick out of JHalc's finisher wasn't a good idea. It just makes JHalc, and his finisher, look weak. If this was a bigger match, I'd be okay with it. Even being on V100, it's not a big enough match to warrant that. I also don't get why you had Xtreme get the pin off of a move that isn't Icon's finisher. The Superkick, as mentioned in your profile, is used as a set up to his main finisher. Why not just do the Superkick and then do the actual finisher and get the pin? Seems weird to pin someone, clean, off of a signature move. So, for future matches, here's what I'd like you to work on. Make the match longer. It doesn't have to be huge. Just something to make it a believable match, not a couple moves and then boom, it's over. Honestly, 2,000-4,000 words is fine enough. Your match, not including the promo, was only about 750. Work on your descriptions. Read work from the three I mentioned if you have trouble here. I'd tell you to do more, but I honestly don't know what else you really need to work on, because with a post this short, there's not much to go on. I really wanna see you succeed in XWA, because you've been here for a long time and are very consistent. You just need to work on some things and better your writing ability.
JHalc: Another short post, about a hundred words less than Icon's actual match portion. This match was simply not good, but I'm sure you're aware of that. It's too short, not really much of anything happened aside from JHalc playing mind games. The descriptions were good, though, so I'll give you that. Not really much else to say here.
Verdict: Neither match was very impressive, especially considering this was Vendetta #100. They were both short. I feel Icon's was better in terms of the action, although he had a questionable finish and I didn't like Icon kicking out of JHalc's finisher. Jay's descriptions were clearly superior, though. I'm gonna have to give the win to JHalc. I hope you two can put a bit more effort into your future matches.
