A new Friday the 13th video game is in development, letting players take the role of killer Jason Voorhees or his hapless victims.

EGM reports that Friday the 13th will be an asymmetrical multiplayer game that lets players choose between Jason or the survivors. It's targeting an October release, but the studio behind it has not been announced. For the time being, it's only said to be an experienced studio, with more details due in the coming weeks.

That actually sounds pretty decent.
