Liam Payne spent £5.1 million on his new super-mansion.
The One Direction star, who grew up in a £150,000 three-bed semi-detached house in Wolverhampton, is now the proud owner of a three-storey home in Surrey that features an all-weather tennis court, cinema and heated outdoor swimming pool, in addition to a 700-bottle wine store and ballet studio.
The 21-year-old singer moaned last year about 1D fans appearing outside his home, but that's unlikely to be a problem now, with a source telling The Sun newspaper: ''The security is insane. Every part of the house and grounds are in camera isolation zones, many heat and motion monitored.''
News of Liam's purchase comes shortly after a report claimed that One Direction earned almost £6 million each in 2013.
Figures filed on behalf of the band, which comprises Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam, at Companies House showed they logged a turnover of £49.1 million in 2013, and each member drew a salary of £5.6 million.
A source said: ''Their earning power has rocketed over the past 12 months.''
In fact, their earnings more than doubled since 2012, where they earned £18.1 million and took home £2 million each.
