This was an utter pain to watch. I loved both V/H/S and V/H/S/2, so I had high hopes for this. It was such a letdown that it’s not even funny.

The problem with these films is that each time, it’s a different director for each segment. The only person to be involved in two different segments was Adam Wingard. They should have let him be in this one because then there would have been one good segment.

The movie didn’t flow well at all. The “main segment” (Vicious Circles) was sloppy and didn’t connect with the other segments, unlike the other two films. It’s only “connection” was at the very end, where the main character uploaded everything. He “knew” how evil they were. Yet… he never watched them. Makes sense.

Dante the Great - This was the one that was the most tolerable. Yet it had nothing special about it. This is also supposed to be a found-footage movie, yet there were parts that weren’t being recorded by another person, thus making it… well… not found-footage like it’s supposed to be. The ending was way too cheesy and tried to illicit a cheap scare that ended up being silly.

Parallel Monsters - Couldn’t watch this because it was in Spanish. And my version didn’t have subtitles. So I had no clue what they were saying. Don’t make a majority of a movie be one language and then go “Know what? Let’s make an entire portion be a different language with no in-movie subtitles. We’ll assume that people know both languages fluently.”

Bonestorm - This was absolutely terrible, yet it had the most potential. There were way too many camera switches. It was damn near impossible to tell what the hell was going on. This is what it felt like: Kid 1 has a gun and is shooting /// Kid 2 has a sword and is swinging /// Oh wait, now Kid 1 has a sword /// Zoom in on Kid 2’s face /// Kid 3 is dead! /// Kid 2 has the sword again??? /// Kid 3 is alive and well. /// More random face zoom ins. There was just too much going on that it was way too hard to follow. This one also had an open-ending which made no sense whatsoever. Also had scenes that were edited to make it appear like this was going to be put on the internet, and again… supposed to be found-footage. Also had a dumb scene of a skeleton giving the middle finger and then blowing up. Was that supposed to be funny?

Would not recommend watching this film. 0/5 Stars.
