Independent promotion Pro Wrestling Syndicate, which regularly runs events out of New Jersey, announced last night that a weekly TV series will be debuting on WLNY channel 55 starting Saturday 1/3/15.
The channel, which is broadcast out of Long Island, NY, was the original home of WWF’s Shotgun Saturday Night in the late 1990s in the NYC area and is broadcast in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Vince Russo to Become Executive in Power of Wrestling Promotion in 2015
International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom has announced the following via its official website:
“LONDON, ENG (December 19, 2014) – effective as of January 1st, IPW:UK are proud to announce the signing of the world famous Vince Russo to take over control as the Executive In Power of International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom (aka, IPW:UK).”
Russo commented on his new position in the company by issuing the following statement:
“Officially, I’ll be taking over on January 1. But I have had a firm hand in booking the matches that are going to take place on the Weekend of Champions, January 10 and January 11 in Tonbridge. This monumental event will be my first-ever appearance in the United Kingdom.”
