Jeff Jarrett came to terms with Matt Striker on Saturday as the analyst for the January 4th New Japan Wrestle Kingdom 9 Pay Per View.
Mike Tenay had a deal on the table but TNA refused to let him do the PPV, citing Global Force Wrestling as competition. Jarrett and D’Amore also had talks with several people dating as far back as November, including: Kevin Nash, Mauro Ranallo, Ron Neimi, John Pollock and former WWE Tag Team Champion Rene Dupree who lives in Japan.
Update: Several hours after our initial report, sources have confirmed Matt Striker has indeed been named Jim Ross’ broadcast partner for Wrestle Kingdom 9.
