| As good as The NXT event was on Thursday, it was a big disappointment with they did with the finish. Owens just debut and people want to get behind him. Sami finally won the big one and should have his moment. Turning Owens heel was stupid imo. They needed to let Owens establish himself some more before doing something this huge with him. Give him a run with him as a aggressive babyface. Also allow the development of Owens and Sami's friendship to be seen on NXT, allow the fans to contact to it. Yes every indy smark knows about their friendship, but the casual fan doesn't know that. And just because Owens talked little about it in one of his promo doesn't make it a Three-dimensional story. It barely counts as a 1 dimensional. They pulled the trigger way too early on this feud imo, really putting a dent in such an awesome show like Thursdays show was. |

| The job of these excellent performers now is to establish the depth of their relationship and reveal more layers on the betrayal. Kevin Owens will most likely spend little time in development and he's one of the most popular guys there already. |

| They're going to do with Kevin Owens what TNA could have done with Samoa Joe. |

| The ROH one was more meaningful because the fans knew how deep their friendship is. In WWE it's just Owens saying they are friends and giving him a hug and that's it. |

| "Turning Owens heel was stupid imo."
No it wasnt, A. he works better as a heel and B. you could of seen it coming a mile away as soon as Zayn won the belt.

It's called "build up". It's going to drag out until the next special which will probably be in March. They arent going to keep Owens in NXT for very long so why should they wait a year to pull the trigger on it? |

| I have no issue with him going heel and I think this will be good, but god damnit they could've waited even just a few weeks to do it and it'd have meant far more. |

| He may work better as a Heel, but turning him heel that early was stupid. At least give it a month to show their friendship, allow them to talk to each other like friends, have them team up. so when the turned happen it would be more shocking and meaningful.
The only build up to it was Owens talking about how they are friends, a hug and then bam heel turn in such short time. Like Jake said they will have to use promos to go more deep into the story behind their friendship, but showing it more would make it work better.
It's going to be a good program, but they could have started it off a lot better. |

| I have reason to be hopeful. NXT is very well booked and as I've previously stated it says a great deal about what they think about Kevin Owens that he's starting his career in the top feud in NXT. |

| NXT is well booked.
But once he is on The main roster tho...Can you really be hopeful with it? |

The NXT crowd (and audience) almost certainly know the history between the two. You don't think they chant "ole" for Zayn because they like the tune? |

| I am more talking about the people who watch it on the network. I know the NXT crowd are a bunch of Indy fans, but not everyone who watches the Network knows about Sami and Owens history. And What if they retry this on the main roster? Then only a small amount of the crowd will know about it, the casual fan won't. You have to do more then just say they are friends, you have to show it. |
