This match has been given a 48 hour extension.

The fans come alive as the bell calls out for the beginning of the night's main event. Tempers run hot between the XWA heavyweight champion and the challenger, the result of weeks of taunting and fighting between the men, but they manage to collect themselves enough to stave the urge to rush in headfirst. The Rubix Cube steadily begins to strafe, his opponent following suit until they are circling the ring's center, each measuring up the oppositions for any hints of weakness. As they go round, the Barbarian Lord shows a slight hobble, the result of a stiff left knee. The faintest notion of opening clicks in Danny's brain and, armed with this knowledge, he comes rushing in upon his opponent. Vladimir steps in to meet him, each man raising their arms before them and twining them into a collar and elbow tie up. Strife, nearly backed into the corner, forces his way out of it, using his

weight advantage to take ground from the reigning champ. Diamond, not one to be pushed around - particularly in the literal sense, rallies back into the test of strength, giving it his all until he manages to send the Romanian back a step. The Lionheart Champion seems unphased, however, and steps aside, using the tie up to reel his opponent in as he raises the point of his right knee up into Danny's solar plexus. A chorus of jeers rises through the arena as the Shine doubles over and the Hardcore King takes the opening to wrap his arm about his skull in a side headlock before he can even let out a desperate gasp in an attempt to regain the wind he's lost. Danny attempts to shove the Behemoth away, but the vice-like grip holds firm, feeling as though it might rip his head from his body. The GodKing takes the opportunity away before the Prized Gem can attempt it again, pressing his hip into his opponent's midsection and leveraging him over it, flipping him down onto his back and grounding him.



As Strife cranks on the pressure like he's trying to pop Danny's skull, the Heavyweight champion takes a moment to pelt him with a few hard rights into his shoulders, but they do nothing to deter the Barbarian Lord's focus. Jack Hammer slips in beside the men, noticing that the champion's shoulders are against the mat and takes to his duty in spite of the unlikelihood that such a contest will end so prematurely. His palm cracks the canvas and it's enough to kick the Rubix Cube into action. He quickly rolls Vladimir back onto his shoulders, but before a pinfall can be initiated, the GodKing rolls through with it, still clinging to the cranium of Diamond. He pulls the younger man back up to his feet, dragging him around the ring with complete control as the fans continue to voice their displeasure. Danny grabs Vlad about the waist, but the Behemoth has already anticipated such a move and quickly hooks his leg back around his foe's calf to block the suplex. Frustrated, the Shine takes a huge step forward and gives a great shove to the Romanian, whose arm slips across the sweat already beading up on the Heavyweight champion. Vladimir hits the ropes and comes bounding back at Danny, who is still recovering from the early disadvantage. The fan favorite still has his wits about him enough to duck a monstrous lariat coming at him and spin around. As the GodKing slows himself down before he can hit the other set of cables, Diamond takes off after him, leaping up and grabbing the back of his head as he flings himself over the top rope. As Danny drops to the floor, he holds on tightly to his enemy, pullng him down across the rope and throttling his throat. The rope snaps back into place as the world champion releases Strife, flinging him onto his back. His hands go up to his throat as applause rise, but the Prized Gem has only just begun his assault and grabs onto the left foot of the GodKing, towing it out of the ring enough that he can raise it before slamming it down against the apron, hyperextending the knee. The Czar of Scars screams out at the sharp pain that shoots through his body and rolls out of the ring, joining his nemesis at ringside and stumbling away from him to create some distance. The Romanian stops just shy of the barricade and turns back as he hears heavy footsteps growing. As he does, the sight that greets him is that of Danny Diamond, taking to the air once more as he flies at him with an outstretched arm as if trying to prove something with a lariat attempt of his own. It connects, the bicep of the world champion catching the Barbarian Lord across the collarbone and the duo slam into the guardrail before toppling over as fans rush out of their path. Steel crunches under their weight as they spill over, a resounding chant of 'Holy Shit' rising through the air.



After a few tense moments, Danny is the first to rise from the wreckage, grabbing onto the barricade and pulling himself upright. He turns toward his opponent, who has somehow managed his way up to his knees, and begins to pummel him with punch after another, each blow teeming with the rage deep inside of him. He suddenly backs off for a moment, giving Vladimir breathing room enough to begin to get up to his feet. As he's almost done so, however, a steel chair slams down across the crown of his skull, sending him sprawling back among the carnage. The crowd whips into a frenzy as Danny tosses the weapon aside and covers his European adversary. Jack Hammer makes his way over to them, and finding no way to get properly into place, utilizes the guardrail for the fall. He slaps it once, then twice, but his hand hang in the air as the heavyweight champion is rolled off of his prey. The Lionheart champion begins to emerge once more, delivering a stiff right to the jaw of Danny as he reaches down toward him. He is all too familiar with the sting of a steel chair and it is imminently clear that it will take much more than such to put him away. As the men raise back up, it is now Strife who brandishes the classic staple of hardcore wrestling, lifting it over his head before planting it flat across the small of Diamond's back, sending him reeling away with a grimace. He turns back around after a few steps, but catches a face-ful of steel chair as Vladimir flings it at him. It glances off of his skull and the Rubix Cube slumps over, landing in the lap of a rather attractive female fan at the end of a row. The woman looks a bit excited, particularly so in contrast to the jealous gentlemen beside her, but the look soon dissolves into fear as the Czar of Scars begins to approach. He reaches in and takes Danny by the hair, pulling him back up to his feet before slamming a hard right against his temple and shoving him toward the steps. The XWA World Heavyweight Champion instinctively climbs them for a few steps before grabbing onto a nearby rail. He fires back with a hard kick, catching the Behemoth against the side of the face and backing him off. He steps up onto the rail before pressing off, turning himself around as he pushes off and spreads himself out, casting himself like a net across the torso, taking him down to the concrete with a springboard crossbody. The arena again erupts into cheers at the athletic display of their favorite and Jack Hammer comes rushing over to see if their is a viable pinfall attempt.



Danny is quickly back up to his feet, the crowd going even wilder as they see that he's alright. He bends down and takes Vlad by the back of the neck and begins to pull him back up as well. As he does, a hard uppercut fires out from the downed Romanian, catching the Shine across the chin and staggering him. Strife comes up to a kneel and then rushes toward Diamond, shoving his shoulder into his gut before slamming his back into the wall beneath the start of the sloped seating. He peels him off of the wall before drilling him into it again and repeats the motions several times for good measures. The Barbarian Lord then lifts the Prized Gem up, spinning with him before flinging him down onto an opened chair, bending it's seat the wrong way with his head. Taking a kneel beside the fallen Diamond, Vladimir takes him by the head, holding it steady as he pounds his features with one hard right after another, trying to rearrange them. He suddenly hears talking and looks over to see a patron talking on his cellphone and the Behemoth leaves behind Danny, walking behind the man before reaching beside his head and taking his iPhone. The scrawny man turns around, visibly upset, but sees the culprit and backs away, thankful his interruption has only cost him a phone. Vlad takes the Shine by the hair and pulls him up to his knees, standing behind him with the phone raised high. He slams it down across his forehead, the sound of the thin glass cracking nearly audible on the camera. He does it again, breaking the face of the gadget further and then begins to rake it across. Danny's eyes light up as the shattered glass shreds at his flesh, blood beginning to run out from under it as the thin jagged edges Strife has created pry at his skin and rip it open. Unable to see any other way out of it, the Prized Gem throws his head back, ramming it into the stomach of his opponent to create an opening. He pulls away, then turns and raises his boot into the gut of Vladimir, stopping him and bending him over. The world champion retreats a step and then sprints forward, leaping into the air and stepping onto the GodKing's back, using him as a stepping stone. He jumps off of him, grabbing hold of the railing before the rising seating and pulls himself over it, giving himself some time to recuperate.



Vladimir grunts with frustration at the crafty evasion of his opponent and looks around, shortly spotting a collapsible table against the wall and paces over to it, taking it and setting it down on its top. He pulls the legs out and into place, securing them before flipping the table back over. He lifts it and carries it over, setting it against the wall perpendicular and creating the appearance of a small catwalk extending from it. Danny looks over the side of his rail just in time to see the Romanian climbing up onto the table and lets out a heavy sigh at the prospect of his rest being cut short. The GodKing stands up tall, unaware that his opponent is backing up from the rail over him. Diamond rushes toward it again suddenly and takes to the air, hands at his side as he dives over the rail in a high arch and comes barreling down toward the Czar of Scars. Vladimir puts his hands up to catch his opponent and try to deflect some of the energy of the suicide dive and as he grabs onto him, the table shifts below him. It topples over toward the left, the main event combatants going toward the right with the shift and crashing down upon the bare concrete with a sickening thud. Unlike usual for a huge moment, there are no chants or cries of 'Holy Shit'. Instead, there is silence. The landing was clearly unexpected by all, Danny and Vlad more than anyone else and fans look on horrified as the men lay against the floor sprawled out in awkward, still poses, neither responding as Jack Hammer moves in and tries to get some signal from them that they're alright or even conscious. The official turns toward the stage and holds his arms up crossed over one another in the form of an 'x'. Medical personnel begin to come out of the back and make their way down the ramp, bringing stretchers and neckbraces as the rush toward the location of the fallen stars. The EMT's take their time as the slowly move each man onto his back and onto a stretcher, placing a neckbrace upon each before moving them. Among the solemn and worried faces of the XWA Universe, the logo comes up in the corner and the screen fades to black, leaving the status of the main eventers in question as the biggest night of the year for XWA comes to a close.
