The plan is for a reboot of sorts for the debut show, with new graphics and a new look. Josh Matthews will be replacing Mike Tenay as the lead announcer, working with Taz. The expectation is that Tenay will remain with the company in an on-air role. That change probably would have happened anyway, even if they weren’t looking for a new look and changes on a new station. Part of the deal may be because they consider Jeff Jarrett Public Enemy No. 1 (they even did a video piece designed to mock Jarrett doing a Billionaire Ted-like skit on him) and signing Tenay would keep him from Jarrett, who wanted Tenay to be his lead announcer if he got TV.

They took the wrong guy off the announce team

I disagree. Both needed to go. Tenay is not relevant or particularly good (although I suppose it's possible he's trusted) and Taz is just awful.

I wouldn't mind a new fresh commentary team lead by Josh Matthews. My main problem is that they're keeping Taz.

Not that I really plan on watching TNA anyways
