WWE taped this week’s episode of Smackdown from the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee. The show will air in its normal timeslot this Friday on the SyFy network.

-Triple H came down to do an in-ring segment, and he reiterated the importance of Sunday’s Survivor Series main event. He proclaimed victory for the Authority, and once again threatened anyone who helped John Cena, saying they were committing career suicide. Erick Rowan, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler and Ryback come out to the stage while a pre-taped John Cena cut a promo about his team winning. Triple H has decided that Ziggler needs to pay the price – again – and books a match right now.

(1) Rusev def. Dolph Ziggler. This was said to be a pretty decent back-and-forth match.

-There is a “New Day” vignette, this time with Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods all together.

(2) Los Matadores def. The Miz and Damien Mizdow. The crowd is way more into Mizdow, as usual. A lot of tension between the two, especially after the loss.

-Dean Ambrose came out and talked about how terrible his childhood was. He said his mother gave him brass knucks as a kid to protect him from other kids who wanted to beat him up. He said his promised “survival kit” was himself. Bray Wyatt did a pre-tape but didn’t appear live.

(3) AJ Lee def. Brie Bella in a rematch from two weeks ago on RAW. AJ was dressed up Nikki this time, to add insult to injury.

(4) Luker Harper def. Cesaro. Despite being on opposite Survivor Series teams, Harper and Rowan are still using the same entrance music. Both sides were out (minus Rusev and Ziggler) and there was teased drama between the former Wyatt Family members, but no one threw any punches.

-Triple H came back out and made a new ruling, as Team Cena was celebrating that win over Cesaro. He said that the Authority’s jobs are on the line, and so are there’s, because if Team Cena loses, they’re all fired.

(5) Ryback & Big Show def. Seth Rollins & Kane via DQ. Triple H came back out with all of Team Authority and they beat down the babyfaces, specifically targeting Ryback. Hunter attacked everyone with a chair and hit Ryback with the Pedigree. They all posed together over Ryback to end the show.
