Marvel revealed their full Phase Three slate today which includes the first films for Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Inhumans, as well as a second Guardians of the Galaxy, the third Thor and Captain America films and a two-part Avengers film that tackles the Infinity War. The reveal was made during a special event at the El Capitan theater in Los Angeles today.
During the reveal, Chadwick Boseman was announced as playing Black Panther. You can find more details from the event below (courtesy of CS.net):
The event started with Kevin Feige taking the stage, to a lot of applause. Feige said that he was going to show the audience something they’d already seen, “thanks to the folks at Hydra.” That of course was the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer.
Joss Whedon was in attendance in the audience and was introduced by Feige. The Marvel Studios CEO showed a timeline of films that went up to Ant-Man in 2015, then revealed the new titles:
