- The following matches were set during the NXT taping for the next NXT Takeover special. It was revealed at the taping that it will be titled NXT Takeover: Evolution; as previously reported it takes place on December 11th.

* NXT Title Match: Adrian Neville vs. Sami Zayn (If Zayn loses, he will quit WWE)
* NXT Women’s Title Match: Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks
* NXT Tag Team Title Match: Lucha Dragons vs. The Vaudevillians
* Finn Balor & Hideo Itami vs. The Ascension

Why not have a different name? Like NXT Future Shock? NXT Next Step? NXT: NXTer

It...it has a different name. It's Takeover: Evolution.

Im thinking the Takeover name is their version of In Your House

They'll probably keep coming up with new subtitles for each event, but they'll all be titled "NXT Takeover".
