According to a new report, several business partners associated with TNA Wrestling have been told that the company will be announcing a new television deal within 10 days. If the report is accurate, we should have an idea where Impact Wrestling will land by next Sunday, October 26. Coincidentally, that’s the same day as WWE’s annual Hell in a Cell PPV.

Earlier this week Dave Meltzer noted that Dixie Carter had been telling certain individuals within the company to expect a “major announcement” in the very near future, so this would seem to confirm that earlier report. That said, there were also rumors that TNA was in talks with a talent whose signing would “shock” the fans, so it’s possible there are multiple announcements still to come.
