DING DING DING

As the match begins Jake cautiously enters the ring as Icon eyes him from the center. Tables surround each side, some already set up, some folded up leaning against the guard rail. There is no shortage of tables for this match. On top of the trash can of weapons Icon brought to the ring.

Cedar: Here we go with the Quarter Final round of the KOX Tournament continues with two of the men who came out of the Hardcore round with very impressive performances.

Miles: Yep, Jake Evanston defeated Kendrick Bayne and Icon beat Genghis Vaughn. Everyone left in the tournament is watching this.

Cedar: Of course, Icon is the one everyone is gunning for, he won this tournament back in 2011. He’s a Hall of Famer.

Miles: You knock off the redneck from Great Falls, Montana on the hot streak he’s been on, the sky’s the limit Ted.

Jake gets in the ring. Icon, holding his fists close to his face, ducking his head, ready to fight. He cautiously walks around Icon who matches his pace and keeps his eyes on Evanston. Who suddenly gets right in Icons face, they are nose to nose in the center of the ring, the tension rises as they face off. Suddenly Jake throws a wild right, which Icon ducks and puts his shoulder into Jakes stomach, picks him off his feet then charges him into the corner turnbuckles, then thrusts it repeatedly into the midsection. He backs off after the third shot, then throws a stiff knee to the midsection, dropping Jake into a seated position in the lower turnbuckle. He runs to the opposite corner then quickly runs back at his downed foe. He jumps in the air, tucks his legs in then thrusts them out for a running dropkick to the chest.

Miles: Icon taking full control in the early moments. He’s looking to end this one as quick as possible.

Cedar: Look what’s left, Barbed Wire Massacre and of course the final round is an I Quit Match. You can’t blame the guy, he wants to be as fresh as possible.

Miles: I guess he didn’t get to pick the stips like he did a few years back.

Cedar: No, as I recall Icon threw the idea to the GM at the time, and he went with it, Icon has an amazing Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match with T.K.

Icon rolls backwards onto his knees then stands up. He yells at Jake to get up. Jake pulls himself up to his feet using the ropes. And steps back over to Icon, and punches him right in the face. Icon stumbles to the ropes and holds his jaw, an audible smack is heard when Jakes fist makes contact with Icons face. Icon nods his head. He looks to Jake and smiles “There’s the fire I want out of you!” Icon said, very pleased he got punched in the face.

Miles: What is wrong with this guy? He gets cold cocked in the face and he’s smiling!

Cedar: I think he wants a competitive match out of Evanston, it’s like he wants Jakes best.

Miles: Oh yeah, that’s smart, have the guy your facing, in a single elimination tournament at his best to possibly beat you. Icons never been the smartest guy on the roster.

Cedar: Icon is very competitive, it’s like he’s helping out the younger generation while he’s fighting for his one goal left in XWA, the World Heavyweight Championship.

Icon steps back over to Jake, who throws a hard kick to the gut, doubling Icon over and follows that up with a brutal knee strike to the face. Icon stumbles back several steps and Jake runs at him and leaps into the air, hitting a flying forearm shot to the face. Icon drops to his back and rolls away. He starst to get to his feet and is up to his hands and knees when Jake runs it with a dropkick to the head. Sending Icon rolling under the bottom rope and out to the floor, he stumbles into the announce table holding his head.

Cedar: Well this didn’t take long to get outside the ring.

Miles: Hey Ted, does our table count for the match win stipulation?

Cedar: I would assume so, it is a table, and this is a table match.

Icon slaps himself to get his bearings back, as he turns around, Jake is already flying through the midle and top ropes towards Icon like a missile, crashing into the Hall of Famer, knocking him back first into the table. Icon drops to his posterior as Jake starts to stand up.

Miles: Suicide dive! Icon just got knocked into our table!

Cedar: Lets just hope they use of the dozen or so tables around ringside to end this match, not ours.

Jake stands up and grabs Icon by the head and pulls him up to his feet then slams his head into the table before throwing a hard elbow shot to Icons face, causing him to stumble into the ring apron. Jake climbs up to the table and leaps off towards Icon who ducks and Jake slams face first into the hard edge of the ring. Icon rolls him back in right after his face made contact. Icon climbs up to the apron and grabs the top rope in an over under fashion, his left hand under and right over. Icon leans back and slingshots himself Into the ring flipping forward and hits a leg drop across the face of Evanston. Icon rolls off and stands up. He stands over Jake who is still on his back. Icon grabs him by the head and pulls him up to his feet, Jake stands facing Icon, for a brief second, before Icon spins him around and waistlocks Jake and heaves him overhead with a brutal german suplex. Jake landing hard on his head and shoulders.

Cedar: What a german suplex!

Miles: did you see how Jake landed? Hear how hard he hit the mat? Jesus, I think Icon is trying to kill the man!

Icon leaves the ring, on the side where the entrance ramp is, stepping between the top and middle ropes then dropping to the floor. He flips a table that is already set up and folds the legs in. Icon picks the table up and slides it into the ring, at this point Jake is back to his feet and steps out to the apron, he leaps off and hits a double axe handle smash to the top of Icons head. Icon falls to the floor as Jake stands over him. He then turns to the apron and pulls it up, he scans over the various objects under the ring and grabs a trash can and trash can lid. He tosses the can into the ring and keeps hold of the metal lid. Icon stands up and shakes his head before turning around, and into a brutal shot from the lid, denting the hell out of it Icon stays standing, Jake looks confused for a brief second and hits him again, even harder. Icon has a far away look in his eye as he stumbles back a step but doesn’t fall. Jake hits him with even more force and this time Icon stumbles back a few steps, but still doesn’t fall. Jake climbs back up to the apron and leaps off with a flying trash can lid shot to the top of Icons head, this time he falls to his back. Jake tosses the lid to the side as he grabs Icons legs. One under each arm he repositions himself to where his back is to the ring post then falls backwards. Launching Icon into the post face first, his head slams into the heavy metal post and he falls to the floor once again.

Cedar: Icons skull is getting a heavy durability test.

Miles: It took 4 shots to knock him off his feet with that trash can lid. But you have to put that drunk through a table to win this.

Cedar: This is a tables match, and to clarify the rules, it has to be a offensive maneuver that does it. You can’t dodge a move and your opponent goes through a table.

Jake stands up as Icon starts to crawl away, he is right next to a table that’s been set up already in preparation for the match. When Jake grabs him by the head, pulls him to his feet then puts him on the table, he throws a few shots to Icons face before sliding under the bottom rope and standing back up, he grasps the top rope with his right hand over and left under. He leans back and slingshots himself over the top rope out to the table and Icon. As soon as Jake was in mid air, Icon rolls off the table and backs up to the guard rail and leans against it as Jake crashes stomach first through the table. Fans react with a loud OHHHH! as Icon looks at his foe as he grabs a drink from a fan, chugging the rest before tossing the cup behind him, fans leaping for it.

Cedar: Evanston crash and Burned, that was nasty!

Miles: Icon saved himself, slingshot splash backfired for Jake, match continues. You just mentioned the rules, Icon didn’t put Jake through the table, he did it to himself.

Cedar: It does several things, Icon gets a reprieve, he is now in the driver’s seat, and Jake may have hurt himself on that one.

Icon grabs Jake by the head and pulls him to his feet. He locks in a front face lock and picks his opponent up into the air like a suplex only instead of dropping Jake onto his back, he drops him chest first on the guard rail. Icon gets a smirk on his face then climbs up to the apron, he walks over to the corner and climbs up to the top turnbuckle.

Miles: What is the crazy man doing?!

Cedar: I don’t think Icon even knows!

Icon steadies himself before leaping off with a backflip as he flies forward. With perfect accuracy he hits a leg drop across the back of his foes neck then crashes to the floor, he rolls to his side, with a pained look on his face. A holy shit chant breaks out from the packed arena, as Jake lands on his back, holding the back of his neck.

Miles: What in the hell was that?!

Cedar: A Shooting Star Psycho Guillotine? Leave it to Icon to take an already extreme move and add his own twist!

Miles: At the cost of possibly breaking his tailbone, those black mats on the outside of the ring are just a thin covering over solid concrete.

Cedar: Goes to show how bad Icon wants to become the only man in history to win two King of Xtreme Tournaments.

Icon crawls to the ring and pulls himself up using the apron, he grabs the bottom rope and pulls himself into the ring rolling under the bottom rope. Jake is struggling to his feet as well. He is up to one knee as Icon stands up, and walks over to the table he slid in earlier, he starts unfolding the legs as Jake starts to climb up to the apron. Icon flips the table over and slaps the top of it, ready to use it on his foe, who is springing up to the top rope and launching off, tucking his legs in as he flies to Icon who has stepped away from the table. Jake thrusts his legs out when he nears Icon driving his feet into Icons chest. Knocking him to his back. Jake lands on his side as fans cheer the high flying tactics.

Cedar: Where did he come from?!

Miles: That’s the dangers of this match, you can focus on setting up a table and let your opponent recover.

As Icon starts to drag himself under the table, towards the ropes. Jake starts to get up to his feet, holding his ribs. Trying to get some air in his lungs. Jake stands up and grabs Icons legs, he holds one under each arm then falls backwards, catapulting Icon only his head slams into the table, flipping the wooden object on its side Icon rolls to his stomach, holding his forehead.

Cedar: Icons skull slammed into that table!

Miles: Icons skull takes even more punishment!

Jake sits up and starts to figure out his next move, as the camera cuts back to Icon, he is starting to push himself off the mat. As blood drips off his head and to the mat in a puddle where his head was.

Cedar: Icon is busted wide open!

Miles: His head must have hit that metal frame under the table. This is the third week in a row Icon has been busted open!

Icon struggles to his feet as Jake.gets back to a standing basis. Jake steps over to Icon and hooks his.head in a reverse facelock. Then lifys.him over head bit Icon lands on his feet, thinking quickly he drops to his posterior driving his shoulder into Icons Jaw. Icon stands up briefly before falling to his back.

Cedar: Stunner! I think Evantson was going for a reverse suplex but Icon slipped out.

Miles: But Jake was one step ahead, that stunner was executed to perfection.

Jake folds in one of the table legs and sets it up against the corner. He turns back to Icon who is still groggy from the stunner moments ago. Jake stomps on his chest a few times before picking Icon up to his feet, he leans him in the corner before trying to Irish whip him towards the corner. Icon hooks the top rope with his right arm, Jake struggles to get Icon to release the ropes. Icon throws a big left hand before grabbing Jake by the head and slamming it into the turnbuckle. He throws several swift, pin point accurate punches to the face of Evanston. Fans cheering as Icon fires up.

Miles: Business is starting to pick up Ted!

Cedar: Icon has been busted open many times in the past, it's nothing new. He uses it as some weird, perverse motivation.

Miles: Seeing your own blood does different things to different people, in Icons case, it just pisses him off.

Cedar: Icon has never been scared to bleed. But the last guy you want to piss off, is The Xtreme Icon.

Icon waistlocks Evanston and heaves him overhead with a Belly to Belly Suplex. Jake lands flat on his back as Icon sits up. He gets to his feet, and grabs Jakes head he pulls him up to his feet in a front face lock. He picks his adversary up into the air and drops him onto his back. Icon holds on, pops his hips and picks his foe up as he stands up and hits a second suplex.

Cedar: Icon going for those triple vertical suplexes.

Miles: One of Icons trademarks. If that table wasn't halfway across The ring he'd put Evanston through a table and end this.

Cedar: Icon never misses a chance to pay tribute to Eddie Guerrero, you never know if he is going to do the multiple suplexes or the triple verticals. He's taken bits from the greats and adds his own twist.

Icon picks Jake up again and hits a third suplex he sits up and wipes the blood from his head. He stands up and slaps his chest as the fans chant "Eddie" over and over Icon backs up to the corner and squats down as Jake rolls towards the table he set up. Icon starts smiling, ready to end the match. As Jake starts to slowly get to his feet, holding his back. Icon runs his hands over his head, from front to back. He raises his right hand into the air several times yelling at Jake to get up. he wriggles his fingers, in front of his face as Jake gets up to one knee and starts to stand. Icon comes charging in like a freight train. But Jake leaps out of the way, and Icon crashes shoulder first through the table, which explodes into several pieces as Icon lays on his right side. Jake drops to one knee and starts to take a few deep breaths.

Miles: Icon missed the spear! However he did not miss the table!

Cedar: This match continues though! Icon put himself through the table not Evanston
!

Blood drips from Icons head and onto the wood as he rolls off the broken table Jake gets to his feet holding his lower back. He turns toward Icon who is laying flat on his back Jake turns Icon onto his stomach and grabs his right ankle and wraps his left arm around it and uses his right hand to push on Icons foot. Icon pushes himself off the mat and starts to yell in pain. Jake cranks on the hold as hard as he can. Icon drops back to the mat holding the back of his head.

Cedar: Ankle lock! This is a debilitating hold.

Miles: But even if Icon taps, which I doubt he will, it won’t matter!

Cedar: Yeah but you can sure as hell weaken your opponent, most of Icons moves require his legs, if he can’t his those high impact moves, you’ll have an easier time beating him.

Icon knows he can’t be in this hold long he somehow rolls to his back and pulls Jake in then shoves him off, breaking the hold. Icon sits up and holds his ankle, as Jake does a backwards somersault onto his knees. He stands up quickly and charges at Icon, who counters with a drop toe hold. Jake hits the mat face first. Icon slides up to his head and traps Jakes left and traps it between his legs, as he tries to grab his head. Jake scrambles out an slides under the bottom rope and out to the floor. Jake walks away from the ring to try and get some distance. Icon runs to the ropes on the opposite side of the ring rebounds off and charges back towards, the ropes he was originally at, he leaps over the top rope , getting amazing height and flips forward, crashing back first on top of his foe. Both met hit the floor and Icon rolls off. Another holy shit chant breaks out in the arena as Icon and Jake lay on the floor, referee Jack Hammer leaves the ring and drops to the floor and checks on both men.

Miles: How high was Icon off the floor?!

Cedar: It’s amazing how easily he clears the top rope. As much as Icon takes to the air, he should be getting frequent flyer miles.

Icon slowly pushes himself up to his feet, as Jake rolls to his stomach and starts to do the same. As Icon gets to one knee he wipes the blood from his head onto his wrist tape, staining it red. He pushes himself up to his feet, he grabs Jake and pulls him up to his feet. He then attempts to Irish whip him. Jake counters and whips Icon into the guard rail. Icons back hits the metal rail and Jake runs at him, hitting a running knee strike into Icons head. Knocking him over the railing, and into the crowd. Security gets fans to back up as Jake climbs onto the rail as Icon lays on his back. Jake leaps off with a huge backflip and lands right on Icons chest with a knee drop. Jake stands back up and leans against the guard rail. Icon rolls away clutching at his midsection.

Cedar: Phoenix in Flight off the rail!

Miles: Talk about getting the wind driven out of you. How does that not break your ribs?

Cedar: I don’t know but jake may have the perfect opportunity to end this and advance to the Semi Finals.

Jake climbs back over the railing and walks over to a table, folded up against the rail. He grabs it and carries it over to the table already set up on the floor. The only one not broken of the three set up on each sie of the ring, except the announce table side. Jake unfolds the legs as Icon crawls to the guard rail. Icon starts to pull himself up to his feet . As Jake is pre occupied setting the table up, and etting it next to the one already set up for the match itself by the ring crew Icon is leaning against the guard rail, digging into his pocket.

Cedar: What is Jake doing?

Miles: I think he want to make sure he doesn’t miss putting Icon though a table. Think about it, with two tables, twice the chance he will succeed.

Cedar: That’s sound logic, Icon rolled off last time Jake tried to end this.

Icon pulls a long silver object out of his right front pocket, and starts wrapping it around his fist, right after he finishes Icon climbs back over the rail. By now Jake is finished maneuvering the furniture to his liking. He turns around, as Icon is leaping at him with his fist cocked back, Icon throws a huge punch nailing Jake in the head, and knocking him out, and he collapses onto the table. Icon lands on his feet and rolls him fully on with his body laying across both tables, his lehgs hanging off the edge by the ring. Icon steps back to the ring and rolls in under the bottom rope. As he stands up, he releases the object around his fist.

Miles: Icon has a chain wrapped around his fist!

Cedar: Straight outta the 406 was right on the money!

As Jake lays on the tables Icon heads to the corner and starts to climb to the top rope. Fans start cheering as Icon climbs onto the top turnbuckle. He looks to the ceiling and points up while smiling. He looks at Jake, still out cold from the loaded superman punch. Icon leaps off and tucks his knees and elbows towards each other as he heads up, as he heads down he stretches his arms and legs back out and lands on top of Evanston and puts him through the table. Jack Hammer immediately calls for the bell and American Badass hits the sound system

DING DING DING

Watts: Here is your winnner and adancing to the semi final roung of the King of Xtreme Tournament, The Xtreme Icon!

Cedar: Icon with a huge frog splash off the top rope to the floor putting Evanston through the tables!

Miles: He’s moving onto the Semi Finals, and barbed wire massacre, one of the most violent matches we will ever see.

Icon is just two matches away from headlining Xtrememania once again. He's been on such a roll, how can anyone stop him?

Icon rolls off Jake and towards the guard rail. He lays there for e few seconds before pulling himself up to his feet with the rail, as the camera zooms in on Icons bloddy face, he looks into it and says “Bring on Barbed Wire Massacre, nothing is going to stop me” As the show went to commercial.
