British wrestling legend Ricki Starr passed away on September 20th after an illness.

He was a star on TV in the United States during the 1950′s and in the UK in the 1960′s and 1970′s. He was in London at the time of his passing and was 83 years old.

WWE said that they are “saddened to learn of the passing of Ricki Starr, 83, a talented grappler most famous for his balletic moves in the ring and his nearly unbeaten streak in British wrestling promotions during the 1960′s and 1970′s.”
