WWE ran an angle this past week on Smackdown where Dean Ambrose stole the Money in the Bank briefcase from Seth Rollins. It’s been a well known fact that whoever holds the briefcase has to travel with it all around the country, as if it were a championship belt. Over the weekend, Ambrose appeared at a WWE Live event with the briefcase, and has been spotted at airports carrying it around.
Earlier this week we reported on a potential plan for the Hell in a Cell PPV that would see Dean Ambrose face John Cena, with the winner getting a shot at Seth Rollins inside the Cell. It’s also possible that with the briefcase now involved in a prominent way, one or more of the matches could focus on who leaves as the official “Mr. Money in the Bank”.
