Discussion: "Hardcore Match" is boring.
At least have a proper gimmick like First Blood. Notes for next week please, because Hardcore Matches throughout = D:

Every round, not every show. The first round continues next show and will be Hardcore matches. But the quarter finals will be Tables, semi finals will be First Blood and finals will be I Quit.

Honestly, first blood matches are really, really boring to me, and I really dread ever having to write one. It's not like there's much you can do in terms of storytelling, it's just when you decide your opponent starts bleeding after both guys hit each other in the face. Straight up hardcore matches allow you far more creativity, which I think is the best thing about them. I'd take say a dog collar match over first blood every time. That's just me, though.

Yeah, not a fan of a first blood match. Too basic and limited. Now a barbed wire death match. Lightubes. We can't call it KoX if we arent getting fucking xtreme.

I was originally gonna make it Last Man Standing, but Meth said that was too big to be followed by an I Quit match.

If so many people are against First Blood, then change it to something else. Cage Match or whatever.

I however think First Blood is fine and disagree that it takes away storytelling. In some instances, it's when someone bleeds wherever - not just the head. That means if a wrestler gets a cut open up on their leg or whatever, storytelling/psychology could go the way of the wrestler trying to cover it up before the referee sees. Or also, same thing if someone focuses on the head. There is storytelling in that. It's a matter of one wrestler focusing on one body part.

Either or, I'm fine with whatever. We'll see who's even around for it.

EDIT: After looking at First Blood on Wikipedia, why not make it a Sadistic Madness Match?

"In a variation called Sadistic Madness, which was created by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, the opponent must be bleeding before a wrestler can legally pin them. Although, there are no disqualifications, outside interference cannot be seen causing the participant to bleed."

In regards to a Dog Collar match, it's hard to do interesting or realistic spots as if you spend too much time on detail or description, you'll be at a hindrance for not being exciting enough. That's in my opinion anyway!
