Bobby Roode defeated Bobby Lashley to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion at tonight’s Impact Wrestling television taping event in Bethlehem, PA. The match was said to be extremely good, with Kurt Angle serving as the special guest referee, and lots of nearfalls, ref bumps, and other shenanigans.

A tag team tournament was also announced, but only four teams actually competed. Matt and Jeff Hardy won the tournament, and will challenge for the TNA World Tag Team Championships. With TNA taping a Full Metal Mayhem match tomorrow, it looks like these segments may not all be aired in order, and point to The Wolves retaining the belts in the ongoing series.
