Following the opening video hyping up the matches on tonight's card, a fireworks display goes off in the Mandalay Bay Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the main show is officially underway! The cameras head to the commentary area, where fans watching on Pay Per View are greeted by Ted Cedar and Joey Miles.
|CEDAR| "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to XWA Endure! We've already had a bit of fun on the preshow, exclusively on XWA.com, where we saw Jared Jarusalem make his in-ring return against Nate Insano. We've got one hell of a show for you guys ahead, culminating in the second ever Sixty Minutes in Hell Match to take place in XWA!"
|MILES| "And who was in the first one, as well as this one? Danny 'his voice gives your girlfriend an orgasm' Diamond. I can't wait to see him tear that faggot Riley Williamson limb from limb."
|CEDAR| "It should be a very brutal classic, that's for sure."
Heading to the ring, XWA ring announcer Laura Watts stands by the ropes, with a microphone in hand.
|WATTS| "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the new XWA General Manager!"
|MILES| "Wait, what?"
|CEDAR| "We were supposed to find out who the new General Manager was back on Vendetta eighty-seven, but some issues came up. I guess we're going to see who he is now."
The audience looks at the entrance ramp, waiting for someone to emerge. After a few seconds of silence, Joey begins speaking again.
|MILES| "Where the fuck is this cu--"
"OWAHAHAHAH!"
A massive explosion goes off on the stage, as Disturbed's "Down With The Sickness" hits the PA System, accompanied by a huge eruption of cheers from the crowd. The new General Manager appears on the stage, in the midst of the smoke, to reveal himself as none other than Thomas Barnez. The audience's cheers get louder upon actually seeing Thomas.
|CEDAR| "Oh my!"
|MILES| "Fuck yes ferret! Bipolar Tommy's back!"
Thomas stands in the middle of the smoke, which is slowly dissolving, as the audience cheers loudly. He looks out at the screaming fans with a grin on his face, before making his way to the ring.
|CEDAR| "Thomas Barnez is the new XWA General Manager? Wow!"
|MILES| "Maybe he'll Gore the fat off of you."
Thomas enters the ring, stretching his legs over the top rope to do so, before calmly asking Laura for her microphone. She obliges and then exits the ring. Before the WWA Hall of Famer can begin speaking, however, a "Tommy!" chant breaks out throughout the crowd. This puts a smile on the face of the seven foot two man, whom patiently waits for the chants to die down before speaking.
|BARNEZ| "Heh, I missed you guys too."
Again, the audience pops big time.
|BARNEZ| "I got a call about a month and a half ago, from Smoke Xtreme. He said XWA needs a new General Manager. Someone who can keep the superstars in line whilst simultaneously increasing the ratings. Someone strong, yet smart. Bold, yet cunning. A man with experience in this industry. So, naturally, they called me after their first thirty choices rejected them."
The fans laugh.
|BARNEZ| "I was going to begin my job at Vendetta Eighty-Seven, but then the plans changed. They said they wanted me to make a splash on a bigger stage. So, here I am, in the great city of Las Vegas, Nevada, making a splash, which is relatively easy for a man of my size. It's an interesting time in XWA right now. About this time of year, something special begins. A little event known as the King of Xtreme."
Once more, the audience cheers loudly, always loving the annual King of Xtreme tournament.
|BARNEZ| "For those who haven't been keeping up with XWA.com, the sixteen-man tournament will go as follows. The first round will consist of Hardcore matches. The quarter finals will be Tables matches. The semi finals are First Blood matches. And, finally, as usual, the finals will headline the King of Xtreme Pay Per View in an I Quit match. Now, in previous tournaments, we haven't allowed former World Heavyweight Champions to enter. This time, I'm wiping the slate clean. Former Champions are, indeed, allowed in the tournament. The official brackets will be released directly following this Pay Per View broadcast tonight, on XWA.com."
"As a man who has done a lot of crazy shit in the past, I'm really looking forward to the King of Xtreme tournament. It's something I'd, personally, love to be involved in. I, unfortunately, will not be in it, but I can say it may very well be the biggest King of Xtreme tournament XWA has ever seen. And it all happen for the most prestigious prize in this company, the XWA World Heavyweight Championship. A match against the Champion, headlining our biggest show of the year, is a huge deal. I expect to see some of the most gruesome matches imaginable in this tournament. If I'm disappointed, you all better watch your asses."
"Speaking of gruesome, barbaric matches...Tonight's main event, for the World Heavyweight Championship, is a match type that my good friend Ace Acid and I created together. Sixty Minutes in Hell. We were in the first ever one and many after it. Our 2010 match was considered one of the most brutal matches in all of 2WWF history. I don't know much about Riley, but I know a lot about Danny. Say what you will about the Champion, but he knows how to get down in matches like this. I hope tonight's main event will be one worthy of the stipulation. I'll be watching very closely."
"I suppose I've taken enough of your time. You all want to watch some wrestling, right? Well, let's get into it. Enjoy the show, guys and gals. It's going to be a good one."
"Down With The Sickness" begins playing again, as Thomas smirks. The big man exits the ring and makes his way up the ramp.
|CEDAR| "I'm still in shock. Thomas Barnez is our new General Manager!"
|MILES| "This is gonna be good, Theodore."
The show fades to a quick commercial hyping up the King of Xtreme tournament and Pay Per View.
[If anybody wants to do segments or even a storyline with Barnez, let me know. I'm hoping to get him more active in XWA than the previous GMs.]
