Ring of Honor taped several week’s of their ROH TV programming this weekend in Philadelphia, PA. There was no Adam Cole, reDRagon or Michael Bennett because they were all in Japan for the Seibu Dome show.
Episode 1
-Steve Corino and Kevin Kelly were on commentary.
(1) Rocky Romero def. Tommaso Ciampa via DQ. Ciampa put a submission on Romero and refused to break it, even when he was in the ropes, so the ref had to call for the bell.
-Former NFL star Moose ended up joining RD Evans and Veda Scott in their group. Big Ramon was not happy with the acquisition, as he’s basically become obsolete.
(2) Jay Lethal & ACH fought to a 30-minute time limit draw. This was for the ROH TV Championship. Both Truth Martini and Sparx were kicked out of the match.
Episode 2
-Steve Corino, Kevin Kelly and Prince Nana were on commentary.
(1) War Machine vs. The Briscoe ended up being a non-match, as they just brawled around everywhere. Hanson and Mark Briscoe both went through tables at one point.
(2) RD Evans & Moose def. Tadarius Thomas & Adam Page
-Nigel McGuiness replaces Prince Nana on commentary.
(3) Michael Elgin def. Cedric Alexander to retain the ROH World Championship.
Episode 3
(1) BJ Whitmer & Jimmy Jacobs def. Caprice Coleman & Watanabe. The Decade all came out and tried to recruit Watanabe, but Coleman stopped that from happening.
-There was supposed to be a match between Matt Taven and somebody named Jay Diesel, but the House of Truth came out and attacked Taven. They handcuffed him to the ropes and took turns beating the crap out of him. Lethal wanted them to leave a piece of him alive so he could destroy it last in their cage match next weekend.
(2) Silas Young def. Brian Kendrick
(3) Christopher Daniels & Kazarian def. The Young Bucks
