-Apparently they had to re-tape the debut of Chris Melendez. This segment and the next match will actually air on the 9/11 edition of the show, which goes head-to-head with NXT Takeover 2.

(1) Chris Melendez def. Zema Ion

-Bobby Roode comes out as the new #1 contender to the TNA World Championship, but is interrupted by MVP, Bobby Lashley and Kenny King. We get a staredown between champion and challenger, and it comes to blows. Samoa Joe and EY make the save to even the odds, and it looks like we’ll get a 6-man tag match.

(2) Mixed Tag Match
Robbie E, Jessie Godderz & Velvet Sky def. Knux, Crazzy Steve & Rebel

-Kurt Angle comes out and calls down Ethan Carter III. As a surprise, he’s booked a match…right now.

(3) NYC Street Fight
Ethan Carter III def. Rhino

-All the Knockouts come down and, as per the fan vote, Velvet Sky is announced as the cover girl of the 2015 Knockouts calendar. Jessica Havok makes her debut, taking out several of the Knockouts.
