WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat’s regular job as a brand ambassador has indeed been eliminated due to ongoing WWE budgets cuts, however, he has signed a standard Legend’s Contract with the company which will see him earn $10,000 per year.

Additionally, Ricky Steamboat is no longer working full-time with WWE.

WWE Facing Stiff Competition on 8/25

WWE is facing very stiff competition on August 25th, as for the first time ever, Raw will go up against NBC’s Emmy Awards show. Raw takes place in Anaheim, California on 8/25.

Big Backstage WWE NXT Update

It’s likely NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte and Kalisto will be fast-tracked to the main WWE roster in the near future. Also likely to be called up very soon are NXT Tag champions The Ascension.

As a result, there has been talk of having Bayley defeat Charlotte for the NXT Women’s Title at the Takeover 2 special, but that has yet to be decided on.
