This movie was awesome. One of the best Marvel movies I've seen in a while.

Meh is my reaction towards seeing this. But how was Batista in it?

This movie was amazing. Two parts of the infinity gauntlet revealed, character development for Thanos, and an all around good plot of the movie made this worth it.
I wouldn't bother with the after credits scene though

Didn't do 4,000 flips or suplexes. 0/10.
(He was actually really good. Very funny).
As for the film, tremendous stuff, really fun to watch, and a contender for my favourite of the year so far. At times it felt quite "Star Wars-y."
And now I'm going to have to try and explain what I mean by that, despite not really knowing myself what I mean by that. There was a real sense that what we saw of the film was only the tip of the iceberg as far as what there was to explore in that universe. The reason I bring up Star Wars is because, aside from the obvious "IN SPAAAAAAAAAAACE" similarity, in Star Wars during things like the Cantina scene you could see an alien and immediately wonder what the back story there is, to the alien himself/herself/schlerself, or even the species. I got that feeling from Guardians from several scenes, finding myself thinking "I'd like to see more of this place" or "this character."
Obviously because Guardians is part of the larger MCU there's always going to be more that universe to explore in the sense that we know a blonde viking guy with a hammer exists, and we know there's a guy who turns green and big whenever he's a bit miffed, but I'd quite happily watch several more Guardians films without them ever even getting close to The Avengers. Bugger them, let's go off in the opposite direction. (I say this as a fan of those other Marvel films, by the way).

Apparently there are already plans for a cross-over, if the Thanos character development is anything to go off of, it'll definitely be about him getting the Infinity Gauntlet.

Was fucking awesome. Loved the humor in it and it looked gorgeous. Seen it twice already.

I haven't seen this yet, but I hopefully will. Glad it's getting good reviews.

^ Same.
Honestly didn't even know it's supposed to be a funny movie as well.
