- Quinton "Rampage" Jackson spoke with TheFightNerd.com today and took some shots at TNA, saying that he has no plans to go back. Check out the video below, as well as some highlights:

On whether he plans to work for TNA again: "To be honest, as soon as I went over there and saw their operation and how they ran things, there were no plans for me to go back. There was a lot of momentum with me when I came out with Kurt Angle and I was supposed to wrestle Kurt Angle and they lost all momentum. They didn't utilize me in any way, I gave them a couple ideas on how to utilize me and they wanted me to wrestle professional [MMA] fighters. I was like, ‘No, I'm not doing that.' They just had no idea what they were doing, in my opinion. So no, you won't see me in TNA ever again."

On if he saw the writing on the wall in TNA: "Oh yeah, I saw it. I was like, I don't know whats up with this company, I don't know what's going on, I'm outtie. Dixie and Big asked me to come over and do some stuff, they never came through on anything they said they were going to. You guys aint the first people to fill me full of dreams. I'm not buying into that."

What solid land? He jumped off making money (and in the meantime buried the #2 promotion in the USA) to a future in... he thinks Japan? He's hardly a wrestler or a draw at all at this point and he's burning bridges... I can't imagine he made too much money in the UFC either.

To me he's seen that the company is struggling, he's said what he doesn't like about it, and he's left. I respect that far more than somebody saying "oh, they're paying me to do nothing so I'll just sit here."

If what he says is true then he is smart. Him wrestling another MMA fighter that was never or had little training in pro wrestling would have been a train wreck. It would have been worse than The Gracie's match from Wrestle Kingdom.

TNA isn't dead until it's Dead. So stop acting like it already is. Until The fall TNA is still alive. On life Support yes, but still alive.

Anyways idk what the hell Rampage is smoking. MMA and wrestling are two different things all together. The fact he has had little training in wrestling, putting him in the ring with anyways he would either hurt himself or the most likely to happen hurt the other guy.
With Kurt's health, even at the time, the damage that Rampage would have done might have ended Kurt's career working with someone who is that fucking green in wrestling.

The people who are hoping for TNA's death are idiots. Also, for those who werent paying attention, his first feud was supposed to be with Kurt Angle, then he was thrown into the Main Event Mafia/Aces & Eights thing alongside Tito Ortiz. Then he and Ortiz were pulled after a brawl on Impact by Bellator. It's funny how people are taking his word for how things went because of the situation the company's currently in when we have no idea how he was going to be booked.

Also if the man is so smart about "jumping off a sinking ship", why the hell is he still with Bellator? Their programming has changed too due to ratings being horrendous.

when it's something bad about TNA people believe it. Even if it's on a scumbag website like TMZ which anyone working for TMZ will burn in hell because of the piece of shits they are. The word shit is too good to describe TMZ, it be like saying their golden.

Well yeah, I respect it. He should do what makes him happy. I just don't get how it makes him "smart."

I don't think anyone thinks TNA's death is a good thing. Everyone knows how much of a WWE mark I am and I would hate it if TNA fell. I want WWE to have competition, even if TNA isn't providing that as much, they're better off than the other companies, aside MAYBE RoH.

TNA is dead...yadda yadda yadda. TNA has been "going to die within a year" for freakin' over 12 years now. Seriously, move the fuck away from that stupid line. Anyone who wants ANY wrestling company to die, isn't a wrestling fan.

Also, how the fuck is this guy "smart"? His dumbass was shoved into TNA courtesy of Spike and he was terrible, because he isn't a wrestler and he was just awful in everything he did in TNA. If he wrestled Kurt Angle, Angle would have made an ass out of him period. TNA were busy with their own storylines and then they had to put these MMA nobodies directly into storylines. He was pulled from TNA, along with the other guy, because they came across as two idiots.

Plus the guy gets punched in the head for a living...he ain't that smart <_<

Rampage isn't a mma nobody. But he is something just as worse. A MMA has-been.

Him or Tito Ortiz arent nobodies but they definitely dont have the same drawing power that they did in their primes.

Not that it means a great deal, but I know next to nothing about MMA and I knew Rampage's name before he got to TNA.
