Do you remember this character? I thought it was badass but WWE seems to shit on it everytime someone talks about it. What did you all think?

Of course WWE shits on the character, he was just a Sub-Zero knock off. Anything cool about him (or the other MK characters) was just residual coolness from the source material they were copying.

The Glacier character was pretty badass, it just came at a time where the nWo was really taking off and all of the creative attention was going to that.

Ray Lloyd also was talented in the ring.

^ So was Chris Kanyon, but Mortis was still difficult to take seriously.

meh, you don't need serious gimmicks all the time. It was the closes thing to a real life mortal kombat. It was like watching the movies.

Eh... I guess it all depends on if you think a real-life Mortal Kombat is a good thing. I understand where you're coming from, but from my perspective everything in the above post is an insult.

Wrath and Mortis could of been a legit heel tag team if booked properly. If it got over, it would of worked.

He might have started out as a Sub-Zero knockoff, but I absolutely loved his ring work. He was innovative, had a cool look (pun not intended) when he switched to the singlet, and I like the whole thing where he turned heel and started feuding with everyone else using the Super Kick. Though personally, I liked the spinning heel kick more than the super kick as his finisher.
Plus, he inspired me to make a pretty badass character who would have been XWA World Champion if Digg hadn't decided to fuck things up for half the site a couple years back.
^ The last remnants of the character, since the old XWA doesn't exist and I lost all my old profiles in a hard drive crash last year.
