- Many, many years ago, everyone in my family went to Australia -- everyone except me.
Both of my brothers were on the high school baseball team and they raised money for a trip to play some games against Aussie teams one summer (ironically, the biggest fundraiser was, you guessed it, a wrestling card at the school gym, haha). My parents went along (as did some other parents) as chaperones.
I was in college at the time and working, could not take off to go. I'm sure my parents would have paid, but I was busy with those things and couldn't do it.
What I did get out of the deal, however, was a South Sydney Rabbitos jersey -- red and green stripes with some insignia and such. I probably still have it in a drawer somewhere, I'll have to look.
I assume that's rugby?
Tell me abut the Rabbitos. I want to learn more.
Sorry Pat ^_^ So I bet your family had fun? One day you'll come to Australia. You can stay at the 5 star grass hut Okay, I don't watch Rugby unless Australia play against another country. So I couldn't tell you about the Sydney Rabbitohs, even if I wanted too. Though, for you my dear friend, I can post the wiki about them Enjoy! The South Sydney Rabbitohs (often shortened to Souths) are an Australian professional rugby league football team based in Redfern, a suburb of south-central Sydney, [1] New South Wales. They participate in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and are one of nine existing teams from the state capital. The club was formed in 1908 as one of the founding members of the New South Wales Rugby Football League, making them one of Australia's oldest rugby league teams. They are one of only two foundation clubs still present in the NRL, the other being the Sydney Roosters. [2] The South Sydney District Rugby League Football Club is currently a subsidiary company owned by Blackcourt League Investments Pty Ltd which is, in turn, owned by the actor Russell Crowe and entrepreneur Peter Holmes a Court. The Rabbitohs' traditional heartland covers the once typically working-class suburbs of inner-south and south-eastern Sydney, however they have long held a wide supporter base spread all over New South Wales. The team's home ground is currently ANZ Stadium at Sydney Olympic Park. In the New South Wales Rugby League (1908–1994), Australian Rugby League (1995–1997), and National Rugby League (1998–present) competitions South Sydney are the most successful professional team in the history of Australian rugby league in terms of total championships won, having claimed 20 first grade premierships. However, the last of these was won in 1971. |

If you were to get stuck on a desert island and you can only have 10 games to play the rest of your life what would they be? Alan Wake. Alan Wakes American Nightmare. Mass Effect 2. The Sims 3. Dragon Age 2. Resident Evil 6. The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. Left 4 Dead. Heavy Rain. GTA: San Andreas. Mmm... I know I'm missing a game. But these came to mind. Ask me this again sometime. I may have a completely different list. |

| Have you ever been in a fight? (Not an argument, a physical fight.) Who won? How and what was it over? Who is the hottest chick in or from Australia, yourself excluded? (post a pic link) If you got to choose your final meal, what would it be? |

Yes and No. I can't really remember what they were about but it was when I was younger lol Haven't been in a fist fight or anything. Thankfully. I try and avoid those situations though. Haha wise. Hard to say who's the hottest. Everyone finds someone hot in their own way. Definitely has to be Ja'mie King though I would post a link but I'm on my iPod. Pizza FTW Though since I'm going to die. I doubt I'd feel hungry. |

2. Did you ever skip school? To do what?
3. If man evolved from apes, why are there still apes?
4. If you could be in the Olympics, what sport would you choose to be that good at?
5. Best actor ever to play James Bond (for the role, not overall in their careers)? |

5. Best actor ever to play James Bond (for the role, not overall in their careers)? 1. Bacon, Mushroom, Cheese I love supreme. 2. Nah, not much. I was a good girl. When I did. It was because I didn't feel like going and dealing with people there or I hadn't finished homework 3. Man didn't evolve from Apes I'm not sure. Same reason why other species that have evolved but some stay the same. 4. Athletics. Being able to run that fast would be cool. Usain Bolt yea 5. Pierce Brosnan. I've seen all his Bonds. Played the game on the N64 repeatedly. That voice and he played it really well |

I wonder what it's like to have a hot Christmas day. What do you want for Christmas? Not at this very moment. I want to buy a T-Shirt though Usually it isn't that hot, thankfully. Never woke up sweating. But it's sunny outside and you could go to the beach. Those Christmas movies with it snowing. I imagine that would be nice. Probably just to have the family be together. I don't expect much. If I got one DVD that I wanted, then that'd be fine |

| It hardly ever snows here but two Christmases ago it did -- not enough to stick on the ground and accumulate, but it was very pretty. We went out and threw around the football in the falling snowflakes, great fun.
Who is Australia's greatest hero?
Spider-Man or Hulk? |

Spider-Man or Hulk? Cool. Sounds like nice memories Snow would be nice to wake up too. Though I doubt sweeping or shovelling it off the path and road would be any fun lol It would depend. Greatest war hero? Greatest sports hero? There'd be a few. Probably a few that I can't think of right now. Damn, I'm horrible at this. Spider-Man, fo' sure. I watched the original Hulk series when I was younger and it was great. Besides, I've seen more Spiderman movies than Hulk movies and I enjoyed them a little more. Don't get me wrong, I like The Hulk. Who doesn't like him when his angry. |

Sorry I've taken forever to answer this. I don't have a Great Australian Hero, to be honest. I thought It'd come to me if I gave it time but I'm drawing blanks. Maybe I'll come back and edit this answer sometime. |
