Mack has finished making his entrance to the ring, and his music dies down. The crowd is buzzing, ready for this Penultimate Match of the evening to kick off. The official is none other than the trusted zebra, Ryu Sanu. Sanu goes approaches Samuel, and checks him to make sure he is carrying no weapons. Samuel allows the check, and passes with flying colors, as he is hiding nothing in his black, white and blue attire. Ryu then approaches Mack, who has a smirk on his face. Before the veteran ref begins the check, Mack has to make a sarcastic comment. “Oh, yeah, you want to pat me down big boy?” The comment causes a look off embarrassment on the face of the referee, but he continues on to check so the match can get underway. “Was it good for you?” Mack throws in one more humorous comment as Sanu calls for the bell to be rung. The time keeper smacks the ring bell three times, indicating this match has begun.

JOEY MILES: “Was it just me or was that gay?”

TED CEDAR: “It’s called humor, Joey. Mack is a great personality and a veteran of the company. But you can’t sell Greg short either, he’s been here for his fair share of time! Greg has competed in three World Heavyweight Championship matches in his time here, only to come up short. One of those matches featured Mack who walked in and out with the World Heavyweight Championship in that match.”

JOEY MILES: “Yeah, that was definitely gay…”

TED CEDAR: “It is a little known fact that Mack is an 11-time champion in this company, tied for the most title reigns with the legend himself, Caleb Spires.”

JOEY MILES: “Was Caleb gay?”

TED CEDAR: “But, enough facts, it’s time to get into this match! We have Mack and Greg Samuel for the first time in one-on-one competition and 3 points in the Intercontinental Championship tournament on the line. Greg already has three points in the tournament, after securing what he calls the biggest victory of his career last week against DC Hennig. Mack on the other hand, is at 0 for the tournament, after losing in a hard fought battle against Rob Chapman last week.”

In a very similar series of events as the start of Greg’s match last week, “The Maine Attraction” walks to the center of the ring, which is mimicked by Mack. Greg then sticks his hand out; offer a sign of respect to the veteran. Mack is a little hesitant to accept the sign of respect, as in recent weeks; people have been turning on him left and right. After sticking his hand out and retracting it a couple of times to see if Samuel is bluffing, he finally returns the gesture, shaking Samuel’s hand. The two men then back out of the center of the ring, and begin to circle the ring. It’s obvious that both of the combatants are feeling some lingering effects of their extremely tough matches last week. Regardless of previous battles, both of the competitors are ready to start this match, and hopefully to get the 3 points for the victory. For Greg, he is in a much more comfortable position, as he already has 3 points in the tournament. Mack’s saving grace, however, is the fact that he has won both matches that he and Samuel have been apart of. After two circles around the ring, both of the wrestlers meet in the center, each grabbing the back of the other person’s neck, and their elbow, creating the time tested test of strength known as the collar-and-elbow tie up. Looking to quickly take advantage, Mack ducks under Samuel’s right arm, using the hand that is on “The Maine Attraction’s” elbow to push it out of the way, before locking Samuel into a Side Headlock. Before Greg can counter, “The Southern Aviator” pulls Samuel over his hip and down to the ground with a Side Headlock Takedown. The former Intercontinental Champion’s back hits the mat hard off of the takedown. Mack opts to release the hold after taking Samuel down, allowing both of the competitors to quickly get back to their feet. Mack is up a split second before Samuel, and is able to prepare himself for an oncoming attack from Samuel, who comes charging toward him. Mack grabs Greg’s arm and sends “Mr. Match of the Night” over with an Arm Drag. Samuel’s back bounces off the mat, but the pain doesn’t delay him from getting back to a vertical base. Once he gets back to his feet, Samuel again charges, looking to get right back on the horse. Unfortunately for him, Mack has another Arm Drag for him. After colliding back first on the mat, Samuel is a step slower to get to a vertical base, but still refuses to stay on the mat for any longer than he has to, knowing that Mack’s speed is best utilized while his opposition is on the mat. Upon arrival at his feet, Greg is met by the former World Heavyweight Champion, looking to complete a trifecta of Arm Drags. This time, Samuel is expecting the arm drag, and is able to block the attempt. After blocking the Arm Drag, Greg steps in front of Mack, so the two are facing. Greg then pulls Mack’s head down with his right hand and tucks it under his left arm, securing his adversary in a Front Facelock. Greg then takes Mack’s left arm and wraps it around his neck before grabbing “The Southern Aviator’s” tights. “Mr. Match of the Night” lifts his right foot off the ground a little bit before stomping it right back down, lifting Mack up and slamming him back first on the mat with a time-tested Suplex.

TED CEDAR: “It’s old and it’s a classic, it’s the suplex! Samuel has studied this sport as much as anyone else and I’m sure he knows everything there is to know about that suplex move, including how much pain that move can inflict when performed as perfectly as it just was.”

JOEY MILES: “Great, just what we need, some nerd who studies…”

Mack arches his back after a meeting with the mat. Greg decides against going for the pin, opting instead to get back to his feet and prepare his next attack. It doesn’t take long for Mack to regain his wits and come back to a vertical base, but he may be wishing he hadn’t. Greg takes a hopping step forward, doing a turn so he is back to Mack. He then continues the rotation while taking another hopping step with his left foot while sticking out his forearm so it is horizontal. Using the momentum from the spin to his advantage, Greg drives his forearm straight into the face of his adversary. The Tennessee native’s head whips back in pain as he takes a few steps away from his opposition. Greg closes the separation that was just created by Mack, and then grabs “The Southern Aviator’s” wrist before slinging him across the ring with an Irish Whip. Mack bounces off of the ropes and comes speeding back at Samuel, only to have Greg lift up his right knee and drive it square into his abdomen. Mack doubles over, clutching his midriff with both arms. Looking to keep momentum swinging in his direction, Samuel grabs one of Mack’s arms and pulls it out, and then ducks under, twisting it counter clockwise. Greg then drops down to his knees before pulling down on Mack’s arm, using it to pull “The Southern Aviator” over and down to the mat, executing a Japanese Arm Drag. Samuel keeps hold on Mack’s wrist, as he stands up. Greg then sticks his leg out and drops it on the bicep of the former World Heavyweight Champion’s arm. After dropping a leg on the arm, Samuel releases Mack’s arm from his grips and gets back to a vertical base. Mack shakes off the arm pain as he works his way quickly back to his feet. Greg quickly adjusts himself so he is side-by-side with his adversary, before putting his arm around the shoulder of Mack, as if they are old buddies. Greg then wraps his left leg around the right leg of Mack, in the style that a tomato vine would wrap around a fence. The former Intercontinental Champion leans forward a little bit, bringing Mack with him, before snapping backwards, driving the back and the head of his adversary into the mat. Mack arches his back into the air, and his face fills up with anguish, showing just how much pain the very basic move can put someone in. Greg pushes Mack’s body down so his shoulders are on the mat before hooking the far leg. Sanu drops down to his knees and begins counting. Greg only gets a one count before Mack’s shoulders are off of the mat.

TED CEDAR: “A kickout at one, and I don’t think Samuel expected it any other way. Knowing Samuel, I’m sure that that was just a pin to wear down his opposition, he’s a smart one like that.”

JOEY MILES: “Or he just wanted to press up against Mack’s sweaty body.. ha.. ha.. GAY!!!”

Greg is not too disheartened by the unsuccessful pinfall, because as Ted Cedar suggested, it was just an attempt to wither away Mack’s energy, slowly. Samuel sits his adversary up before getting behind him and locking in a headlock. Ryu Sanu checks to make sure that there is not a choke. Mack reaches his arms up, trying to get a hold of Samuel to throw him forward, but Greg knows the exact counter to this move. Samuel keeps the hold locked in for twenty seconds, before deciding to transition into his next attack. After releasing the hold, Samuel lifts his right arm up before driving the point of his shoulder down on the right side of Mack’s neck. “The Southern Aviator” is stunned by the neck shot, which is exactly the intent from Greg. The former Intercontinental Champion then gets back to a vertical base before running right passed Mack and into the ropes that the high-flyer is facing. The Maine native puts all his weight into the ropes, and the ropes in return sling him forward toward his sitting adversary. Using all this speed, Greg charges at Mack before leaping into the air and sticking his left foot out. Then, with a swift movement, Samuel swings his right leg around, using his left leg as a pivot axel, as he lands a brutal Shining Wizard kick to the side of Mack’s head. Mack tumbles over onto his side as his left hand snaps up to his head in attempts to alleviate the broken skull-like pain that courses through the side of his head. Mack begins to roll around in pain, doing anything he can to take his mind off of the pulsing in his head. As Mack is on his side, Greg takes him and pulls him onto his back before hooking both legs. But, Mack is not ready to give in just yet, and kicks out right before the two count. Greg gets back up to his feet, and quickly approaches the corner. Despite the pain that rushes through his head, Mack turns to his stomach and begins to push back to his feet, obviously feeling the effects of Samuel’s attacks to this point. Greg leaps up to the top rope from inside the ring before turning around and facing his opposition. Mack knows that if he doesn’t mount a comeback before long, Samuel will have him beat. Mack gets back to his feet and turns to face Samuel, only to see him leap off of the top rope and pull his legs in close to his body, obviously looking to extend them back out and hit a missile dropkick. But, Mack is onto Samuel’s plan, and rolls out of the way, leaving “The Maine Attraction” to collide with the mat. Samuel hits the mat hard and immediately rolls to his side, clutching his back. Despite the agony he is in, he suffers through it to fight back to a vertical base. Once Samuel has gotten back up, Mack approaches him and wraps his right arm around the front side of Samuel’s neck. The former World Heavyweight Champion then pulls Samuel in, with both of them facing forward and Mack in front of Samuel, locking in a Three Quarter Facelock. Mack then charges into the corner before scaling the turnbuckles. “The Southern Aviator” then takes to the air, doing a back flip in mid air before slamming the back of Samuel’s head down on the mat with a Shiranui. Samuel clutches the back of his head, feeling the effects of what was a great aerial move by the eleven-time champion. The crowd is very impressed by the ability of Mack to take flight, and they are letting him hear it.

TED CEDAR: “That is a Shiranui, and is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to acrobatic and aerial moves that Mack can pull off! He didn’t win eleven title reigns in this company without have a great set of moves up his sleve!”

JOEY MILES: “Woo… Flying fuckers!”

“The Southern Aviator” looks to get the victory over Samuel with a lateral press. Sanu’s hand barely slaps the mat for a second time before Greg gets a shoulder up. After the failed pin attempt, Mack grabs Samuel by the back of the neck and begins to work him back to a vertical base. Greg is not too groggy yet, so Mack doesn’t have too much dead weight to carry. Upon getting “The Maine Attraction” back to a vertical base, Mack shoves him backwards into the corner. Mack then follows Greg, approaching the cornered opponent. The Tennessee native then turns his body so his right side is facing Samuel, and he then rears his right arm back before swinging it forward with as much force as he has, connecting an open palm to “The Maine Attraction’s” chest. Greg’s arms cross over his chest and he bends over a little bit, trying to protect himself. A couple of the not so knowledgeable fans in the arena yell, “WOO!” despite the fact that this was not a Knife Edge Chop. Mack pushes Samuel’s upper body up before rearing back and driving another hard chop right to the same spot. Greg’s reaction is the same, except this time he lets out an audible screech, which is a sign of how much power Mack is delivering each of these chops with. Again, the same fans yell, “WOO!” while many fans just shake their heads, knowing the difference. Once more, “The Southern Aviator” leans Greg back up, and rears back his hand, only to drive one more chop to that exact same spot on the chest. Greg drops to a knee after the third chop, as his chest reddens. Mack stands “Mr. Match of the Night” back up before grabbing him by the wrist. The former World Heavyweight Champion then pushes up against Greg before taking a few trotting steps backwards and then using all his strength to Irish Whip Greg to the other set of turnbuckles. After releasing Samuel, Mack has so much momentum that he falls to the mat, showing just how much he put into the Irish Whip. The Irish Whip is so strong that when Samuel hits the corner he flips up and out of the ring, landing on the ring apron on his feet. “The Maine Attraction” is bent over the top rope, as the pain shoots up and down his spine after connecting with the top rope. Mack gets back to his feet and immediately charges at Samuel, looking to knock him off the apron. Samuel sees Mack coming and uses the ropes to keep his balance as he lifts up and drives the point of his foot into the temple of his adversary. Mack stumbles backwards before dropping to a knee in the center of the ring. Meanwhile, Greg climbs up to the top rope, slightly tenderly as he is sore from Mack’s offense. Looking to keep himself in the match, the Tennessee native stands up. As soon as his adversary gets to a vertical base, Samuel leaps off the top rope, sticking both his arms up high in the air, looking to land a double axe handle. Mack’s aware off Greg’s plan, and takes a chance to spoil it. As Samuel lands on the mat, two boots to the abdominal from Mack greet him. Greg rolls onto the mat and then clutches his gut, and kicks around after diving into a dropkick from the veteran.

TED CEDAR: “That is twice that Samuel has gone up high twice and both times he has been unsuccessful.”

JOEY MILES: “Because he’s an idiot…”

Mack gingerly gets back to his feet before darting over to the corner and slipping out onto the ring apron. “The Southern Aviator” then climbs up to the top rope. Without wasting a beat, Mack leaps out and does a full backwards rotation before dropping a leg across the neck of Samuel. All of Greg’s limbs shoot into the air after the Shooting Star Leg Drop. Mack then hooks one of Samuel’s legs, looking to get the victory. Sanu is only able to slap the mat twice before “The Maine Attraction” powers a shoulder up off the mat. Mack is slightly disappointed as he was hoping to end this match, but regardless of that, he still is quick to grab the back of Greg’s neck and work on pulling him back to a vertical base. Greg is a little harder to get up this time, as the match is taking a toll on him. After Mack gets Samuel up, he proceeds to drive a forearm into the face of Samuel. The former Intercontinental Champion’s head snaps back and Greg quickly brings his hands up to clutch his nose. Quickly, Mack grabs Samuel’s right wrist and then Irish Whips him across the ring. Greg bounces off the ropes and comes darting back at Mack, but the Tennessee native leapfrogs him, sending “Mr. Match of the Night” back into the ropes. As Greg comes bulleting toward Mack, the former World Heavyweight Champion swings an elbow back at Greg, who is able to duck it. Samuel then wraps his arms around Mack’s waist from the side, before lifting him up and over before dropping him back and neck first on the mat with an Olympic Slam. Mack arches his back due to all the pain that courses up and down his spine. Greg gets up slowly, trying to make sure he doesn’t aggravate any of his pre-existing injuries. Samuel then charges into the ropes before leaping up and springing off the second rope. He then does a flip in mid air, before landing down on Mack with his signature Lionsault. All of Mack’s limbs shoot up into the air after the move and Greg uses this as an opportunity to hook the far leg, and try to steal his second three points in the match. Unfortunately for Greg, Mack is able to power his shoulder up off of the mat at a two count. It’s obvious that Greg thought he could get the victory there, as he is a visibly disappointed that he didn’t get the pin. “The Maine Attraction” takes Mack by the arm and stands up before pulling “The Southern Aviator” back up to a vertical base. Greg then keeps hold of the arm before attempting to send Mack into the ropes. Unluckily for Samuel, the former World Heavyweight Champion, reverse the Irish Whip, sending Greg into the ropes. “The Maine Attraction” grabs onto the ropes before he can go shooting back at Mack. The Tennessee native charges at Greg before sticking out an arm and clothesline him over the top rope. Greg lands on the outside back first. Mack throws his arms in the air, and the audience cheers for the eleven-time champion. Greg slowly works his way back to his feet on the outside and Mack sees that. “The Southern Aviator” bounces off the ropes on the opposite side of where Greg is and then begins to charge across the ring. Then, Mack leaps through the middle ropes and takes Greg out. Both men are down on the outside as the crowd chants, “That was awesome!”

TED CEDAR: “SUICIDE DIVE! HOLY GAWD! Mack has made a career out of pushing the limits and he continues it here tonight!”

JOEY MILES: “I repeat, woo… Flying fuckers!”

Ryu Sanu begins a count, and it now comes down to a ten count for three points toward the Intercontinental Championship. ONE! Mack is rotating his head around, showing signs of life. Greg is just laying in agony, but he hears the count and knows that he needs to get a move on so he doesn’t lose his shot at the Intercontinental Championship. TWO! Neither man is moving as the audience begins a battling chant of “Let’s go Mack!” and “Samuel!” THREE! Greg crawls a little bit, but it isn’t very promising. FOUR! Mack has pushed up to his hands and knees, showing promise as he now has five counts left to get back into the ring. FIVE! Greg has rolled onto his side, and is clearly in pain, as shown by his face. Mack has now gotten to a knee. SIX! Mack pushes up to a vertical base and stumbles around a little bit before back up against the ring apron. Greg gets up to both feet, while still having his hands on the ground. SEVEN! Greg pushes up, standing up straight and wobbling around a little bit. Mack slides into the ring, securing that he will not be counted out. EIGHT! Greg clumsily charges toward the ring before sliding back into the ring, keeping his hopes alive. Mack has worked his way back to his feet, and charges into the ropes. Greg is quickly back to his feet, as the time to recover seemed to reenergize the two combatants. Samuel is not back up for long before Mack leaps into the air and sticks out a leg before laying him out on the mat with a Leg Lariat. Despite the massive amount of pain he is in, Greg quickly works back to his feet, only a split second after Mack. “The Maine Attraction” swings a Lariat out at the former World Heavyweight Champion, who is able to duck it before locking his arms around the stomach of Samuel. Mack then lifts Samuel up and over before letting go of him and let him free fall to the ground. “Mr. Match of the Night” slams hard on the back of his neck after the Release German Suplex. Greg’s body goes limp, and its questionable if the former Intercontinental Champion is still living. Mack crawls over to Greg before hooking both legs, and everyone in the arena is positive that he is going to claim the victory. Sanu’s hand hits the mat once, then twice and then before the third time can happen, Samuel miraculously gets a shoulder up. Mack is amazed that Greg kicked out, and his face shows every bit of that shock. Despite the amazement, the Tennessee native sits Greg up. Mack then darts into the ropes behind Samuel, and then chares back before leaping forward and grabbing Samuel’s head and flipping forward, and dishing out some head to “The Maine Attraction’s” neck with a Running Neck Snap. After the Neck Snap, the Maine native springs back to the mat and is laid out.

TED CEDAR: “I said it last week, but it’s hard to believe how resilient Samuel is! He takes a beating and just won’t give up. Mack is more than capable of beating opponents until they just don’t have anything left to give, and Greg is taking that all and more. Mack has been a powerhouse tonight, but Greg refuses to stay down! What a fight!”

JOEY MILES: “Greg should be used to taking a beaten, he loses more matches than Joey Jobberton.”

TED CEDAR: “Joey who?”

Greg is down for an extended period of time after all the pain he has been put through in this match. Meanwhile, Mack is backed into a corner, resting and trying to store up some energy. Finally, Greg groggily works his way back to a vertical base, taking his time. Once he finally reaches his feet, a boot to the gut by Mack meets him. “Mr. Match of the Night” doubles over, and “The Southern Aviator” places Greg’s head between his legs. Mack then lifts Greg’s legs up, letting the rest of his dangle, as he looks to hit the Mack Clash. Mustering up all the strength he has, Greg sits up so is now in a powerbomb position, and then he begins to throw punches to the forehead of the former World Heavyweight Champion. After five punches, Mack is dazed and Greg uses this to his advantage as he quickly snaps backwards, flipping Mack to the ground with a Frankensteiner. “The Maine Attraction” uses this opportunity to pin his opposition, looking to claim three points where no one thought he would. Greg is only able to get a two count before Mack powers a shoulder off of the mat. Samuel rolls off of “The Southern Aviator” and both men groggily get back to their feet. After both man has reached their feet, the Tennessee native charges at Samuel before attempting to clothesline his opposition. The former Intercontinental Champion ducks the attempted clothesline while simultaneously grabbing Mack’s arm. Greg then pulls Mack in, grabbing him around the neck and quickly rotating, so Mack is now facing the ceiling before dropping him down to the mat with a Swinging Neckbreaker. Mack clutches the back of his neck and kicks the mat with both legs. Greg carefully works back to his feet before backing into the corner, completely focused on Mack. With pain coursing through his body, Mack slowly works his way back to his feet. Once Mack arrives at his feet, Greg charges over and reaches down, looking to pick Mack up by one leg and dropping him down with a Flapjack. “The Southern Aviator” stops Samuel before he can perform his signature move by driving a forearm down onto his back. Greg arches his back and his arms are bent back, trying to escape the pain from the forearm shot. Mack then lifts Greg up and drops “The Maine Attraction” down onto his knee with an Inverted Atomic Drop. Samuel backs into the ropes as his face shows just how much pain is coursing through his spine after being dropped down onto the knee of the former World Heavyweight Champion. “Mr. Match of the Night” leans against the ropes, and in a spot of déjà vu, Mack charges at Samuel. The former Intercontinental Champion is ready this time, and he is able to lift Mack up and over the top rope, causing him to land feet first on the apron. The Maine native takes a step off of the ropes and turns to see Mack on the apron, clutching the top rope. Greg then takes Mack in, wrapping his arm around “The Southern Aviator’s” neck, applying a front facelock. Samuel then grabs Mack’s tights and lifts him into the air, before taking a few steps toward the center of the ring. The 220-pound technical wrestler then drops Mack forward, bouncing him off of the top rope and then up and over with a rope aided suplex. Mack slams the mat hard as the ropes added momentum to the suplex. “The Southern Aviator” arches his back as pain courses through his tired muscles.

TED CEDAR: “It’s amazing how much the ropes can add velocity on that suplex! These two men have given us a great match! Who will come out with three points toward the Intercontinental Championship?”

JOEY MILES: “Hopefully me..”

Mack is down and is not getting up any time soon after that suplex, and Greg wants to take advantage of that. Samuel slowly pushes back to a vertical base and approaches the corner. Greg then exits the ring and climbs up to the top rope. Greg looks out at the fans before throwing both his hands in the air, getting a huge ovation from the crowd in attendance. “Mr. Match of the Night” then leaps out and sticks out an elbow and drives the point into the center of Mack’s chest. All of “The Southern Aviator’s” limbs shoot into the air as a sharp pain courses through his chest. Samuel rolls onto his stomach and then hooks Mack’s far leg, looking to gain a victory. Sanu slaps the mat once, then again, and a third ti- NO! Mack, at the last second is able to get one shoulder up off the mat, keeping his chances in the match alive. Greg is obviously not happy that Mack kicked out, as he is tired and wants to get this match done. Mack rolls over onto his stomach as Greg slowly works his way back to a vertical base. Once “The Maine Attraction” is up, Mack pushes up to his hands and knees. From there, Greg lifts him up and puts “The Southern Aviator’s” head between his legs. Greg takes a second to regain his wits, but that was a mistake on his part as Mack is able to counter by lifting Greg up and dropping him down on his back with a Back Body Drop. Greg pushes his back up off the mat, trying to alleviate pain after falling more than six feet onto his back. Mack drops to a knee, as that took a lot of energy out of his already battered and beaten body. “The Southern Aviator” gets up and charges into the ropes as quickly as his sore legs will take him. Mack uses all the spring he can get off of the ropes to charge back at the downed Samuel. Right before he reaches the former Intercontinental Champion, Mack leaps and does a somersault in mid air and then lands on Greg’s midsection. Samuel’s arms and legs flop off the mat ever so slightly, as he is very tired after the beating he has taken. Without even turning over, Mack hooks a leg and presses down on Samuel, looking to claim his first victory in the tournament. Sanu gets a two count and is well on his way to a third count, but a split second before his hand hits the mat; “The Maine Attraction” is able to will a shoulder up off of the canvas. Mack is astonished that Greg has kicked out, and he realizes that it is time to pull out the big guns. He slowly works his way back vertical, before immediately backing into the mat, to keep himself up. “The Southern Aviator” then lifts himself up so he is sitting on the top rope, before pushing up so he is then standing on the top rope. Greg, while extremely tired, does everything to make it to his feet. It takes him a while, but Greg eventually does make it back to his feet, back to the former World Heavyweight Champion. “The Maine Attraction” is groggy, and he stumbles around to face Mack. The Tennessee native takes to the air, performing a backflip, and it’s obvious that he is looking to perform the Shooting Start DDT. Before Mack can lock the Front Facelock on and slam Greg on the mat, Samuel is able to stop him, grabbing him across the shoulders. Quickly, “The Maine Attraction” falls to his back, wasting no time to hit his finishing move, Fatal Attraction. The crowd blows the roof off of the arena in excitement as no one expected Samuel’s finishing maneuver. Mack lies on the mat, face down, with no signs of life at all. Greg is lying on his back, breathing heavily as he needs to get over and pin Mack before he comes back to his senses. “The Maine Attraction” rolls over and begins to work on flipping his equally heavy opponent over and pinning him. At this point in the match, Mack is a sack of potatoes, and Greg now has to get him onto his back. After a lot of work, the former Intercontinental Champion is able to get the Tennessee native on his back. Samuel then hooks a leg, looking to get the victory. Sanu slaps the mat once, while Samuel holds his breath, hoping to get the victory. The ref’s hand hits the mat again, and Greg is now one slap of the mat from getting his second win in the tournament. And Sanu’s hand comes down a third time, slapping the mat, and signifying the victory for Samuel. Sanu calls for the bell and Samuel’s theme hits.

TED CEDAR: “Greg takes his second match in the tournament! And I don’t think that anyone deserves the six points they’ve gotten in this tournament more than Greg Samuel does. He has taken down two former World Champions in two weeks! He is on a roll!”

JOEY MILES: “Great, we’ll hear all about this shit… If he wins this tournament, I’m rage quitting.”

LAURA WATTS: “Here is your winner, earning three points in the Intercontinental Championship Tournament, boosting his total to 6 points, “THE MAINE ATTRACTION” GREG SAMUEL!!!”

Ryu Sanu helps Samuel up to his feet and then holds his hand in the air, showing him as the true victor. Samuel then heads over to the turnbuckle before heading to the top rope and throwing his hands in the air. The crowd cheers for the excited superstar. Greg then makes the championship belt signal around his waist. Vendetta heads to commercial with that sight.

[S. 19 | MATCH] Mack vs. Greg Samuel | IC Title Tournament Empty
PostSubject: Re: [S. 19 | MATCH] Mack vs. Greg Samuel | IC Title Tournament   [S. 19 | MATCH] Mack vs. Greg Samuel | IC Title Tournament EmptyMon Jul 14, 2014 12:00 am

Both competitors stand in the center of the ring as the bell rings three times. This isn’t the first time these men have stepped inside the ring together but it is the first time they’ve been one on one. Both mens careers have gone different paths, one has found success while the other is still fighting to earn his spot as one of the best. Coming off a huge win against DC Hennig last week, Greg Samuel now has the chance to continue to prove he can hang with the big boys. The two men runs towards each other, getting tied up in a collar and elbow. Greg Samuel who is the bigger of the two wins the battle, shoving Mack to the nearest turnbuckle. Greg closes his right fist, quickly swinging it at Mack but to no use. The Hall of Famer is able to duck under the shot making Samuel punch the air. Greg turns around and is quickly met with two boots to the face. Greg tumbles towards the nearest ropes, grabbing onto them so he can maintain his balance. Mack quickly turns around, trying to hit a clothesline on his foe but Samuel pulls the top rope down, forcing the former XWA Champion to go over the top. Mack rolls over the top but manages to hold on the top rope before regaining his balance on the apron. Greg, trying to finish what he started, lifts his right leg in the air, attempting a superkick but Mack catches his foot! Just preventing it from hitting him in the jaw, the Southern Native grabs the foot of The Main Attraction; locking him in the ankle lock!
