WWE seems to be in the market to acquire more wrestling tape libraries, as they issued a survey asking fans if they would be interested in seeing any of these promotions added to the WWE Network:

-Stampede Wrestling (Calgary, Alberta): 1948-1989
-Grand Prix Wrestling (Montreal, Quebec): 1971-1975
-Border City Wrestling (Windsor, Ontario): 1993-Present
-ASW – All Star Wrestling (Montreal, Quebec): 1967-1975
-Northern Championship Wrestling (Montreal, Quebec): 1986 – Present
-Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling: (Moncton, New Brunswick) 1960s-1986
-NWA All Star Wrestling (Vancouver, British Columbia): 1960s-1989
-ECCW – Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (Vancouver, BC): 1996-Present
-Maximum Pro Wrestling (Windsor and Toronto, Ontario): 2010-Present

WWE currently owns the Stampede Wrestling library with the exception of any matches featuring Bret Hart as Hart acquired the rights to those a while back.

WWE would have to license that footage from Bret if they wanted to use it.

Guess they're not going to try get anything from The Saint Louis Wrestling Club?

How are they going to be able to acquire wrestling libraries of companies that are still going? Unless they buy out those companies and then add them in

You don't really need to buy them out. Fritz was able to keep all his libraries of WCCW after Jerry Jarrett bought him out. Then again I don't think they made a contract or anything.

WWE should of made just a pure wrestling network since all of their content isnt just WWE related stuff. They could of acquired older ROH and TNA stuff as well as PWG, CZW etc.

No way RoH and TNA are selling their libraries to WWE   

They could sell the stuff in the beginning if they really wanted to and if it was a legit wrestling network

I don't think WWE would want those libraries. ROH and TNA are big companies in comparison to the ones mentioned in the first post, so why would WWE want to give them exposure?

That and it makes ZERO sense for TNA or RoH to sell them anyway - makes them look weak. Little companies or ones way past their former glory will sell up because they'll get fat royalties for them and get exposure.

Yeah there's no reason for both ROH and TNA to sell their libraries to WWE when they have Saint Clair and Panda behind them.
