[S 13|MATCH] Nicholas Carson vs. Cerberus Empty
PostSubject: Re: [S 13|MATCH] Nicholas Carson vs. Cerberus   [S 13|MATCH] Nicholas Carson vs. Cerberus EmptySat Jul 05, 2014 6:50 pm

DING DING DING!

The bell rings, and these two monsters begin to stare each other down across the gulf of space in the ring. The battered Hope, who is accompanying Cerberus tonight, begins to bark orders at his masked companion, with no word being too kind or supportive. All he wants to see is someone suffering. Unfortunately for him, Cerberus faces someone who might not be able to feel pain at all. The Maniac Mauler, standing in at 6 foot 7 is no pushover. He will not simply take a beating and roll over. No, instead, he may just tear as many lumps out of Cerberus as he has teared out of him. Ms. Moreau, Carson's accomplice, simply stands calmly at ringside behind her instrument of destruction. She offers a few words that are scarcely heard by the cameras close to her, and Carson merely gives a confirmatory nod, all the while shifting his weight from foot to foot. It seems as though Hope's words are not having the effect he is looking for tonight, or perhaps Hope just wants to see someone bleed so badly that no time other than 3 minutes ago is good enough for Cerberus to attack. He gingerly shuffles onto the ring apron and reaches out to yank Cerberus' hair to face him. The monster follows the direction that his hair is being pulled, as compliant as ever. The camera manages to get close enough to Hope to hear what he has to say.

|Hope| “Now listen to me. You will destroy this freak, or I'll destroy you. Do you understand?”

Cerberus looks blankly at Hope, perhaps a little taken aback by the harsh treatment from the man who is supposed to be like a brother to him. Hope eventually grows frustrated and slaps Cerberus hard across his mask repeatedly, causing the Hound of Hell to back off a little, like a scolded dog.[\b]

[b]|Hope|
“DO NOT LET ME DOWN!”

|Cedar| “Wow, Hope's really cracking the whip on his monster tonight. Not that I'm particularly bothered by it, but he seems to be giving Cerberus quite a hard time.”

Cerberus slowly turns back to face Carson, his shoulders slowly moving up and down, as if to show his pent up frustration and anger at being slapped repeatedly. What would normally be a death sentence is actually exactly what Hope was aiming for. Anger. Rage. Aggression. The Hound of Hell now looks over to the Agent of Chaos, who in turn locks eyes with the Hound. Both men begin to get more and more wound up with the atmosphere of the moment. The referee looks at both men, almost a little sheepishly. Ms. Moreau looks up at Nicholas and tells him to go, just as Cerberus is instructed to do the same by Hope, and both men dash to the centre of the ring to meet with hard right hands. Neither man is shaken by the strikes, and neither one is about to back down from this clash of titans. The Hound of Hell and The Harbinger of Hell begin to recklessly stagger around the ring, each throwing hard hands at the other, with no sign of letting up. Carson manages to gain an upper hand on his slightly larger opponent by hitting a knee into his gut, causing Cerberus to relent slightly, as Carson backs him off towards the ropes. Carson then grabs the second rope, his hands either side of the waist of Cerberus, and delivers hard shoulder blocks into the sternum and midsection of the monster. Carson then returns to a vertical base and whips Cerberus across the ring, anxiously awaiting his return so he can deliver some other manner of brutality. The Hound of Hell paces across to his opponent, and is suddenly rattled with a Savate kick to the chest, knocking him to the ground with a mighty crash and granting him an impressed cheer from the audience. Hope absolutely blows his lid at this, and begins to furiously pound the mat, letting the effects of the evening shine through. He can not possibly handle any more aggravation from anything, especially not Cerberus losing tonight. Carson drops to his knees for an early cover.

|Referee| “1! 2!”

Cerberus kicks out at a count of two, obviously a little bit taken aback by the force of that kick from the massive Carson. The Agent of Chaos then lifts Cerberus up off the mat by his hair, delivering hard, clubbing blows to his back as he does, trying to capitalise on a somewhat stunned Cerberus. The Prophet stands with his elbows on the ring apron and his head in his hands, clearly frustrated that his beast isn't on the war path. Carson grabs Cerberus' arm and pulls him aggressively towards his outstretched arm, attempting a short-armed clothesline. This time, Cerberus teeters, but doesn't fall down. Nicholas wrenches Cerberus' arm in a violent, jerking motion, then pulls him in for another short-armed clothesline, which does succeed in knocking Cerberus to the mat. Nicholas lets out a loud, bellowing call, as if he was establishing himself as the alpha male between these two bulls, as Cerberus takes a moment to try and regain his bearings from the heavy hits he has endured so far. It doesn't take him long to return to his feet, though. He returns to a standing position just in time for Carson to approach him, then in one swift motion, lift him off the floor and drop him with a Samoan drop. The crowd, and the two handlers at ringside, are quite shocked at the show of strength from Carson, who just threw a man who has been responsible for so much destruction off his shoulders with relative ease.

|Cedar| “Oh my goodness! Did you see that strength?! Cerberus may have met his monstrous match here tonight in Nicholas Carson.”

|Miles| “It's surprising to see someone the size of Cerberus get dropped by another man, I'll give you that. BUT, just wait until Cerberus turns it up a notch. Come on, your Highness, I think Cerberus needs some more motivation!”

|Cedar| “You have to wonder whether that little 'pep talk' that Hope gave Cerberus actually did the exact opposite of what Hope was intending..”

|Miles| “Shut your Oreo hole, Cedar! He knows what he's doing! He spends more time with Cerberus than anyone else.”

The Hound coughs a little bit, feeling the air rush out of his lungs (an experience that isn't helped by his mask restricting how much oxygen he can get), and he holds his ribs from the impact from the mat. Carson gets up to his feet, and takes a moment to wring his hands in a frantic manner. He looks over to his handler, Ms. Moreau, who simply utters some reassuring words and supports them with a few short nods of her head. Carson turns back to his opponent, who is getting to his feet once again. The monster can be heard panting under his mask, in an uncharacteristic showing of fatigue from him. Once again, Hope begins to scream at Cerberus.

|Hope| “You have to win if you want to eat again, Hound!”

|Cedar| “Wait...what did he just say? Did he say Cerberus won't eat until he wins?”

|Miles| “God damn, that'd just be hell for you, wouldn't it Teddy?”

|Cedar| “This has...uh...put things in a bit of a different light...”

Cerberus pulls himself back to his feet, only to be rushed from Carson and dropped with a big right forearm across the back of the head, knocking him to his hands and knees, allowing him to follow up with more clubbing blows, beating Cerberus down. After the brutal attack, Carson pulls Cerberus up yet again and hoists him up onto his shoulder in preparation for a powerslam. He takes a moment to walk a fews steps to show off his impressive power, before slamming the Hound of Hell hard into the mat in a move that almost dismantles the ring underneath them. Cerberus pushes a pained grunt out from behind his mask, as the dull pain of the impact that his spine took from the mat shoots right to his bones. He arches his back slightly, and is promptly covered by Nicholas.

|Referee| “1! 2!”

The Hound of Hell throws his shoulder off the mat after a count of 2. Cerberus rolls on to his side to come face to face with Hope, who scowls at him disapprovingly. The Hound of Hell turns back over to face Carson, only to receive a hard boot to the chest from his adversary. Carson continues to deliver the pain to the body of Cerberus, not allowing him any time to recover or even try to mount some offence. Carson grabs Cerberus through the eye holes in his mask, pulling him up and causing the Hound to panic at the thought of his mask being wrenched off his face. The Harbinger of Hell manages to get Cerberus to his feet and club him in the face with a big elbow to the head, knocking him to the ropes. The Hound of Hell bounces off the ropes, and rebounds into yet another elbow strike, the force almost knocking his head off. Once again, Cerberus staggers into the ropes and rebounds into a hard uppercut to the jaw, which knocks him down yet again. Cerberus drops to the mat and rolls under the bottom rope, disorientated from the attack. Carson watches him carefully, deciding whether it'll be worth following him out of the ring, until he sees Hope approaching the red and black ladened demon, and slap him in the back of the head. Carson looks over to Ms. Moreau for direction, only to receive a semi-concerned look in reply. Being a psychologist, she can't help but feel sorry for the monster, who is now being accosted by a bitter and irritated Robert Hope. Hope presses his forehead against the temple of Cerberus, and begins to mumble into his ear. Eventually, Cerberus pushes him away and rolls back into the ring, leaving Hope to stomp around in a tantrum. The Hound of Hell is met by Carson, who continues his attack with yet more brutal strikes, raining down on the head and shoulders of his fellow masked man. Cerberus struggles, but manages to push Carson away, giving him a short window for a reprieve. Short being the key word there, as Carson is quickly back on Cerberus' case, throwing rights and lefts towards him. A few shots connect with the Hound of Hell, subduing him just a little more, until finally, Cerberus bursts into life, connecting with a desperation uppercut right to the jaw. Carson staggers a little bit, but just like Cerberus before him, does not go down. The Hound of Hell then attempts to mount some momentum, as he exposes a small opening in the attack plan of his brutal opponent.

|Cedar| “Here comes Cerberus. Finally getting some shots in on his incredibly imposing opponent. We've never seen someone exert so much dominance over the Hound of Hell. Let's see if this vile creature can capitalise on this momentum.”

Carson recoils from a whole barrage of right hands from Cerberus, but the Harbinger of Hell will not drop down, obviously with more energy and constitution than the Hound right now. Cerberus backs Carson up against the ropes, obviously sluggish from his apparent starvation at the hands of Hope. He presses his body against Carson's as a way of pushing him into the ropes and gain more momentum on an Irish whip. The monstrous Carson sprints across the ring with all the grace of an 18 wheeler, rebounding off the ropes and almost snapping them from their fittings. He returns across the ring to see Cerberus bending over to attempt a backdrop. Nicholas manages to lift a boot into the masked face of Cerberus, though, disorientating the monster. While Cerberus staggers back, Carson returns to the ropes to charge at his opponent, but finds himself in some trouble as Cerberus drops and pulls the top rope down, causing his opponent to fly over it and crash to the outside of the ring. Carson almost takes out the ring barricade on his way, and prompts Ms. Moreau to rush over to his aid. Hope rushes over too, but only to get a better view of the action. The referee begins to count as Cerberus follows Carson outside of the ring.

|Referee| “1!”

Cerberus closes in on the downed Carson, who is on his side. He hangs on to the ring barricade and begins to boot into the midsection of Nicholas, taking advantage of his diminished state and getting in as much abuse as he can. He then grabs a hold of his hair and slams his head into the railing, to the loud protest of Ms. Moreau.

|Referee| “2!”

Cerberus, egged on by a now all-too-supportive Robert Hope, begins to choke Nicholas against the railing, which causes the referee to begin to caution him for the illegal move. Cerberus seems to be too angry to hear. The mentality of the starving dog has taken over fully, and despite the pain and hunger, he is going to do his level best to dish out some punishment. Carson struggles against the hold, but Cerberus releases it before he can attempt to escape on his own.

|Referee| “3!”

Cerberus grabs Nicholas by the hair again, but receives a hard strike to the gut from his opponent. Carson then takes the opportunity to push Cerberus into the ring apron hard, his kidneys colliding with the hard edge. Carson, blind with rage, approaches Cerberus with bad intentions. Ms. Moreau attempts to communicate with him, but she is distracted by Hope, who is calling her name and hurling abuse at her.

|Referee| “4!”

Carson unleashes some more hard strikes into the body of Cerberus, but the normally stoic Hound of Hell is a different man now. Instead of trying to protect himself, his anger is so much that he fights through the crushing shots to his stomach and ribs to reply with some hard shots to the head of Carson, who does the exact same. These two monsters, once again, are brawling uncontrollably.

|Referee| “5!”

Both Moreau and Hope now attempt to reign in their companions, but it would appear that tempers have run thin, and neither man is concerned with anything other than delivering pain. Cerberus grabs Carson by the throat and throws him towards one set of steps near the ring post. The steps almost implode on impact from Carson, but despite the initial impact, Carson seems somewhat unfased by it. In reply, Carson simply holds his shoulder and shakes his head, then turns back around to Cerberus, charging back at him and pounding him with hard shots again.

|Referee| “6!”

Nicholas grabs Cerberus' head and delivers a sickening headbutt to him, almost knocking the Hound down to the floor. The Harbinger doesn't let him fall, though. Instead, he hurls the Hound of Hell hard into the corner of the ringside barricade, causing it to explode on impact and strew wreckage everywhere. Cerberus falls into the remnants of the barricade, holding his ribs and letting out a roar of pain, but somehow manages to groggily get back up to his feet after some struggle.

|Referee| “7!”

Hope and Moreau are now frantically trying to get control of their destructive monsters. Moreau tries to get Carson's attention as he approaches Cerberus again. For a moment, he looks towards her, not having enough time to see Cerberus lunge at him with his damaged ribs and shove him back first into the ring post. Carson drops to his front, as does Cerberus.

|Referee| “8!”

Carson arches his back in pain, letting out anguished grunts as he tries his best to get back to his feet. Cerberus is crawling whilst holding his ribs, perhaps having one fractured when he was thrown into the barricade. Cerberus gets one hand on the ring apron and attempts to pull himself up. Carson is still trying to fight through the blinding pain in his back and get back to his feet also.

|Referee| “9!”

Cerberus pulls himself up to the ring and rolls under the bottom rope, just say making it back into the ring...then rolling back out again! Cerberus is making it clear that these two are not finished fighting outside of the ring. He staggers over to Carson again, still holding his ribs, but is suddenly dropped with a huge Spear from The Harbinger of Hell! Cerberus crumples to the floor, holding his ribs and kicking his legs ever so slightly due to the immense pain. Carson, too, holds his back in pain from the shot into the ring post. He manages to push himself away from Cerberus and pull himself up by the apron. He staggers away as he tries to stretch his back, and he hears a voice from behind him.

|Hope| “Come on Cerberus, beat this freak!”

|Miles| “Uh oh...”

...freak? That doesn't sit well with Carson. He snaps his head around to see Hope standing there, his brow furrowed in anger. He catches Carson's gaze, and his expression softens just a bit. While he is not letting fear show through, he realises that he can't be getting into a big tangle with this monster. It looks like he's going to, though, as Carson begins to give chase to the self-proclaimed King of XWA.

|Referee| “1!”

Carson chases Hope around the ring, watching Hope hobble away from the beating he endured at the Hell in a Cell. Hope checks back over his shoulder every few steps, as he sees the lumbering, injured monster following.

|Referee| “2!”

Hope charges past Ms. Moreau, and pushes her aside, causing her to fall against the barricade and present a distraction for Nicholas Carson. He stops in his tracks and hobbles over to his fallen psychologist, immediately concerned for the woman who has been so kind to him. She tells him that she's OK, and to go after Hope and Cerberus. He hesitates for a while, but turns back around to Hope nonetheless.

|Referee| “3!”

As he turns around, he doesn't see Hope. He sees a wounded, pissed off Cerberus, who boots him in the head and drops him to the hard floor. Cerberus cries out in pain, as it shoots through his ribs. Hope quickly rushes back to Cerberus to bark orders at him again, telling him to finish Carson off. Cerberus instinctively reaches down to Carson and wraps a hand around his throat. Cerberus struggles immensely, but with all his might, he hoists Carson up to his feet, and positions him near the announcer's table.

|Cedar| “No. No no no. No, not near us. Go away.”

|Referee| “4!”

Cerberus throws Carson's arm over his shoulder, setting up for a chokeslam through the announcer's table. Carson's arm hands limp over The Hound's shoulder, but just as he is about to be hoisted into the air, he suddenly finds life, driving an elbow into the side of the head of the monster. Cerberus staggers away from Nicholas and into the apron. Carson quickly boots Cerberus in the head as soon as he is able, causing his opponent to fall back and roll onto the apron, instinctively finding his way back into the ring, and almost flattening the referee.

|Referee| “5!”

Carson attempts to make his way back into the ring, following Cerberus, but finds himself accosted by Hope, who is still insistent on delivering a myriad of abuse to him. Carson is about to step down from the apron, but is stopped by Moreau, who places a hand on the back of his leg, all the while glaring at Hope. The two managers begin to enter into a heated debate at ringside, with Moreau standing her ground against Hope. Carson steps through the ropes to approach Cerberus, lifting him up for a Pump Handle Slam. He pulls the monster up and gets him into position, then hoists him up onto his shoulder. Cerberus has other plans, though, as he kicks his legs so hard and so frequently that he manages to reverse the move into a Tombstone position! He struggles to pull Carson up into the Damned Driver, and just say manages. He groans in pain as he holds his 280 lbs opponent, but manages to pull off a devastating Damned Driver, dropping Carson in the centre of the ring. The referee quickly gets into position, which attracts the attention of Moreau and Hope.

|Cedar| “Oh my God, what a Damned Driver! He almost broke his neck!”

|Referee| “1! 2!”

Just as the referee's hand drops for three, Carson's shoulder shoots off the mat, astonishing Cerberus, the fans, Hope, Moreau AND the referee! The move that no one has ever kicked out of has just been kicked out of by this machine of a man.

|Miles| “WHAT?! What the hell?! Carson kicks out!”

Cerberus rolls away from Carson to lie flat on his back, as a wave of “encouragement” washes over him from Hope on the outside. Moreau approaches the ring apron and begins to slam her hands on it to encourage Carson to get up, which draws the ire of Robert Hope. He walks over to her and pushes her down into the ring steps near the two, causing her to land with a crash. Carson, who was facing Hope and Moreau, sees this in a moment of lucidity after being dropped on his head. His rage bubbles over inside of him at the sight of what Hope has done to his psychologist, and he groggily attempts to crawl over to Hope as he is talking trash to Moreau. The incredible showing of fortitude after the Damned Driver is surprising to everyone, especially Hope, who turns to see a hand grabbing for him. Carson manages to groggily grab Hope's hair and writhe him around a bit, though he can't quite coordinate himself fully quite yet. After a few more seconds, he has an even harder time, as Hope spews red mist into his eyes, away from the attention of the referee. Carson rolls away from Hope, clutching his face and howling in pain.

|Cedar| “Oh come on! Hope with that damn mist again!”

|Miles| “Mist? That's obviously blood. He had internal bleeding, you know!”

Cerberus pulls himself around just long enough to make his way over to Carson, who is writhing in pain, and pull him up to his feet one more time. The referee never quite gets a chance to look at the face of Carson to see the mist, especially not when Cerberus lifts Carson into a tombstone position, leaps into the air and drops him on his head in a dangerous Damned Driver! Cerberus covers him again.

“1! 2! 3!”
