They dont have to. They can Kevin-Nash it, or at least Edge can. Austin may be too big for that. But Edge could go in, safely do a few easy moves, maybe a spear or two, then get thrown out.

You do realize that even if he wanted to, doctors would never clear him, right? The spear would impact his neck, and there's no way to safely take a bump without jarring it.

Yeah, I think all he could do would be to come out, distract somebody so they get thrown out, then leave (basically eliminating himself by not being there anymore).
Can't think of anybody that'd make sense to do to though. I mean, he was feuding with Alberto last, so he could have done that at any of the Rumbles after he retired.

Kurt Angle mainly. I'd mark out so hard, more than I have in a long time I'm sure.
MVP, Carlito, Goldberg, Jericho, CM Punk too... MVP & Carlito as personal favorites and Goldberg, Jericho & Punk more as big returns that would be mark-out worthy.
Don't think MVP would be possible/realistic though.
