Tetris Ultimate has been announced by Ubisoft.
Described as the 'evolution of the world's most-loved' puzzle title, the game will be available this summer on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, followed by an autumn release on PC.

The game allows for up to four players to face off in six different modes - Marathon, Endless, Ulta, Sprint, Battle and Power-Up Battle.
During next week's E3, Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov, The Tetris Company managing director Henk Rogers will be at the Ubisoft booth to showcase Tetris Ultimate and sign autographs.
The game will also be playable at Ubisoft's Uplay lounge in The Standard hotel during the upcoming expo.
Plans to develop a next-generation version of Tetris were first revealed in January.

I don't think they'll really be able to improve the game that much. There's been several attempts before.
