Shade VS. Riley Williamson
Last Man Standing Match
Hardcore Championship

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The match commences in a bizarre way with Shade glaring at the timekeeper whom has only rung the bell twice. The timekeeper is frozen in absolute horror as Shade exits the ring, snatching the bell away. Both Riley and the referee stand in the ring with utter confusion written all over their faces as "The Terror of Death" reenters the squared circle, bell in hand. With no hesitation, the challenger for the championship bolts at Riley and slams the bell against his head, dropping Riley to the mat and letting out an audible "DING!" to signal the third and final bell for the match to get underway. As much as the referee is against his tactics, since this is a Last Man Standing Match and therefore has no-disqualification, there isn't much the official can actually do. Shade tosses the bell to the side and lifts Riley up to his feet, keeping him in a bent-over position. Almost instantly, the New York native starts slamming his right knee against Riley's midsection three times, before hooking Riley's arms in a butterfly position and dropping to one knee, executing a ferocious facebreaker DDT that he calls "SYN Surgery"!
Ted Cedar: "Shade has the control early on, but will it do him any good? If he keeps going at this pace, he'll just start to suffer from fatigue."
Joey Miles: "Oh shut up. Shade's going to dethrone Riley once and for all, which is why he's so quick right now. He wants to get this match over with."
Deciding that the ten-count probably won't do him any good, Shade chooses to keep the offense going. He picks up the bell again and brings it to where Riley lies on the canvas. Hoisting the metallic bell up high, "The Ultimate Synner" slams it down against Riley's lower back four times before finally tossing the weapon outside the ring, enabling the timekeeper to scurry towards it and retrieve it; he's found his precious once more. The psychotic superstar hoists his adversary up to a vertical base, except this time Riley is forced to retaliate with a dirty low blow! Even though it might not be something Riley is used to doing, this causes the crowd to cheer for their champion considering not a single soul in the arena cares about Shade in the slightest. The six-foot-five wrestler crashes to the mat, holding onto his manhood for dear life. It appears as if he forgot to wear his cup today. Having gained momentum, Riley runs towards the ropes just to ricochet off. On the rebound back, Riley leaps into the air and comes plummeting down, elbow-first to deliver his signature "Blading Elbow" elbow drop directly onto Shade's ribcage!
Joey Miles: "Was that run really fucking necessary?"
Ted Cedar: "Maybe not, but it got his point across I'm sure."
Riley stands up to the applause of the thousands in attendance, only angering Shade for the taunt. Considering Riley is nearby, Shade swings his leg and knocks Riley over, causing both men to be on the mat. Riley attempts to get up quickly, but Shade is quick to grab hold of Riley's head and keep him grounded. Almost as if a murderous intent awoken inside of Shade, the bipolar maniac pins Riley against the mat, both hands wrapped around his opponent's neck, as Shade performs a double choke to Riley against the pearly white canvas. Riley starts flailing his legs about, trying to get out of the move, but Shade refuses to let go as he merely stares at Riley emotionless. The referee attempts to get involved, but it doesn't work, and the Hardcore Champion begins to change colors in his face. Snapping out of it, Shade relinquishes the hold as Riley starts gasping for air. Realizing what he's done, Shade smirks and lifts Riley up to his feet, hurling him into the corner with an Irish whip. As Riley collides, "Hell's Pyromaniac" runs across the ring and slams against his foe with a thunderous body avalanche, prompting the double-champion to plop against the mat.
Ted Cedar: "And here we go, Shade is back in control again. For a moment there, it seemed as if he was going to murder his opponent. That wouldn't be good for business."
Joey Miles: "Ya don't fucking say."
The towering wrestler stands over his downed foe, exiting the ring after a couple of seconds. He grabs Riley's boot and yanks him out of the ring, forcing the champion to flop against the cold hard padded floor. The former champion starts digging underneath the ring for a weapon of sorts and comes across a table that's labeled "JARED". It seems as if Shade was telling the truth from before. Just in case Jared Jerusalem somehow manages to come out to the ring, Shade decides to set it up while his opponent is still incapacitated. Kendo stick after sledgehammer after light tube, it seems as if Shade cannot find whatever it is he is looking for until he pulls out a garbage can. Unfortunately for the New York native, he kept his eyes off of Riley for too long, as Riley surprise attacks his opponent with a running clothesline that knocks Shade down. The garbage can drops nearby, and Riley notices this. With a smirk of his own now, the champion picks up Shade while he's still deadweight into a fireman's carry. Riley then immediately throws Shade's legs out in front of him, spinning them out while falling forwards, executing his finishing fireman's carry facebuster to Shade against the garbage can leaving a massive dent in it! Riley calls for the referee to begin a ten-count.
Ted Cedar: "What a massive move from Riley! He might have the match won with that alone."
Joey Miles: "This is where someone would hit 'X' for doubt. Shade's a fucking beast. He's barely damaged. Just because Riley hit his finisher don't mean shit."
The official for this contest exits the ring, starting the ten-count in Riley's favor. [ONE!] ... [TWO!] ... [THREE!] ... Still no signs of life from Shade, possibly indicating that Joey was actually wrong about what he said. ... [FOUR!] ... [FIVE!] ... [SI - NO!] Shade springs to life, chuckling manically as he simply stares at Riley, confusing his adversary. Not wanting to fall for another trick, the Hardcore Champion immediately runs at Shade, looking to hit some type of kick. Alas, he did fall for another of Shade's tricks, as the psychotic wrestler punches Riley directly against his forehead! A normal punch wouldn't be that big of a deal, except unbeknownst to Riley, Shade managed to equip brass knuckles. Riley falls against the barricade, a small stream of blood beginning to seep out of his forehead. Now honestly not caring if Jared comes out or not, Shade grabs Riley's arm and drags him over to the table, slamming his head against it a few times, leaving a visible blood stain. Pulling Riley away from the table partially, "The Ultimate Synner" begins to hoist Riley high up into the atmosphere for what appears to be a powerbomb. However, the resilient champion squirms free, and grabs Shade from behind, executing a simple German suplex that sends Shade into the garbage can again! Ordinarily this would be enough, but Riley decides to take it one step further and keep his hold on the move, standing up again. Positioning himself just right, the Tag-Team Champion slams Shade through the table now with yet another German suplex!
Ted Cedar: "This match is starting to pick up with what appears to be Riley in favor of winning."
Joey Miles: "It's like you're cheering for whoever the fuck has momentum. Shut your goddamn mouth."
Riley is the first to stand up, telling the referee to begin another ten-count. [ONE!] ... [TWO!] ... [THR -] Riley asks for the count to stop as he realizes that Shade has grabbed his leg. Believing Shade would just recover again, Riley lifts Shade up and rolls him into the ring, bringing a folded steel chair from underneath the ring with him. Both Riley and the official enter the ring simultaneously, keeping an eye on Shade. As Riley gets near Shade, the demented wrestler starts to stand up, prompting Riley to slam the steel chair against Shade's back. Down the competitor goes, and yet that doesn't stop him from rising again. Therefore, Riley does it yet again, realizing it's only a matter of time until Shade is going to give up. With Shade rising for the third time, he manages to shock his foe with a powerful spear out of nowhere. The impact of the move causes Riley to drop the steel chair, giving Shade a devilish idea. With all the momentum he has left in him at the moment, he picks Riley up and brings him over to the ropes, lining him up with the steel chair. Placing his feet on the middle rope, Shade wastes no time as he lifts Riley partially at the same time while lifting his boot, slamming it down against Riley's skull for his infamous "FUCKING BLASPHEMY!" rope hung curb stomp! Everyone in the audience begins a chant of "GET UP RI-LEY!"
Joey Miles: "And there it is folks. Shade has it won right there."
Ted Cedar: "I'd agree with you, but it appears as if Shade's picking Riley up now?"
Joey Miles: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING SHADE? CALL FOR THE COUNT!"
Lifting Riley up to his feet, Shade drags him out of the ring, propped over his shoulder. Shade ignores everyone in attendance, potentially because he finds them annoying, and starts to head up the steel ramp. The referee is forced to follow, wondering where the two competitors are going. Numerous cameraman follow as both men go behind the curtains. The move did what it needed to do: which was knock Riley out. It takes him a few moments to regain himself, eventually wriggling free but falling onto the fall. As he notices his surroundings, he realizes he's no longer near the ring, but rather backstage at the arena's built-in food court. And just like that, Shade hits Riley with a brutal punt kick! The demented wrestler looks down at the champion, grabbing hold of his head and dragging him towards a table that's drilled into the floor. An abundance of fans scatter, watching idly by as Shade lifts Riley up and flips him so his back is on the table. With Riley spread out on the table and hanging off it, "The Terror of Death" opens Riley's mouth wide and sticks his hand in there, closing his mouth afterwards. "HE PUT SOMETHING IN HIS MOUTH!" someone shouts, causing Shade to snarl at them in anger. Everyone watching gets away further as Shade then drags Riley over to an escalator going down. With no remorse for any injuries Riley may sustain, Shade lifts Riley high into the air, holding him in a cross position. Shade gets a running start and throws Riley towards the escalator with an unforgiving crucifix powerbomb appropriately titled "Godless Wrath"!
Joey Miles: "Jesus fucking Christ!"
Ted Cedar: "Is Shade out to murder Riley?!"
As Riley fumbles down for dear life, causing the people nearby to cringe in fear, Shade nonchalantly takes said escalator, slowly descending towards his opponent. Riley is seen coughing fits of blood out, a strand of barbed wire visibly escaping his mouth. The champion rolls around in agony as Shade finally makes his way towards his enemy. It's no longer about winning: it's about making a point. "Hell's Pyromaniac" returns Riley to a vertical base again, as Riley desperately starts scratching towards Shade's eyes. Unfortunately for the double-champion, it doesn't do any good, as Shade has gained the upper-hand fully. Swinging Riley around towards the escalator, Shade slams the emergency brake feature and causes it to stop. Kneeing Riley square in the abdomen, the psychotic wrestler plants Riley's feet on the motionless escalator and executes yet another "FUCKING BLASPHEMY!" rope hung (stair-hung) curb stomp! It's already been decided that Riley's beaten and bruised, but Shade is looking for sheer domination. The ref starts a ten-count without Shade even telling him, causing Shade to scream at him, picking Riley up in the process to stop the count. With Riley deadweight  again, Shade lifts him up and starts walking towards an exit.
Joey Miles: "Where the fuck are they going now? Cameraman, follow!"
Ted Cedar: "We're going to need paramedics. If there's even the slightest chance that Riley can win, he's going to need to seek medical attention."
As the cameraman try to keep close to the wrestlers, the two enter the parking lot. Many fans start yelling at Shade to quit what he's doing, but Shade is still showing the same none-caring demeanor he's shown throughout the match. "Master of Syn" drops his lifeless foe down against the pavement, staring at him before looking at a car. Reaching into his pockets, Shade pulls out a small flask and a lighter. Pouring the flask all over the windshield of a car, it's clear what Shade is about to do. And everyone with suspicions are correct: Shade lights the windshield on fire. Nowhere to go and not having any sense of his surroundings, Riley is forced high into the air again, this time via a two-handed chokelift. Shade cautiously stands on the hood of the car to get a better angle, and with no regret whatsoever, Shade delivers a sickening two-handed chokeslam through the flaming windshield! The referee instantaneously starts a fast ten-count. [ONE!] [TWO!] [THREE!] [FO -] But Shade cuts him off and orders him to do it correctly, else the same thing would happen to him. Fearing for his life, as well as Riley's, the referee does what he says and restarts the count, still trying to go fast. [ONE!] .. [TWO!] .. [THREE!] .. [FOUR!] .. [FIVE!] .. [SIX!] .. [SEVEN!] .. [EIGHT!] .. [NINE!] .. [TEN!]
Laura Watts (By ringside): "Your winner and NEW Hardcore Champion: SHAAADEEE!"
Paramedics come rushing with a fire extinguisher, putting the flames out as they immediately tend to Riley. Shade leaves the scene, merely shaking his head as if he were offended somehow.
Joey Miles: "I'm not giving that psycho his fucking prize. No way in fucking Hell."
Ted Cedar: "I don't think anyone wants to get near that man tonight. Or ever again."
The show ends with the final image showing Riley being taken away on a stretcher and into an ambulance.
The fans almost explode with cheers and noise as Williamson and Shade finally move around the ring, skipping to the side and evading one another slightly. While this is one of the biggest blood feuds in XWA history, this is still wrestling, they're most certainly intent on proving why they are the better wrestler. The two of them continue to skip like boxers before the big first punch and then, all it takes is for Shade to step over that imaginary line separating them for a tie-up to ensue, and the cheering to begin. The two men push and pull in possibly the most aggressive and intense-looking lock-up of all time. It's almost like they're trying to rip each other's skin off. Eventually it's Riley who gets the upper hand, applying a hammer-lock. Shade doesn't stick around long enough to get too hurt by this, as he twists around almost like a ballroom dancer and hooks Williamson into a hammer-lock of his own. Williamson separates Shade's grip with his free arm and whips around behind Shade just as his nemesis did him and wraps both arms around his mid-section. Shade retaliates by throwing his forearm right into the space in between Williamson's forearm and his own mid-section, pushing forward and unlocking the grip a second time, once again oribiting to the other side of Williamson but hitting him only with a playful slap in the head this time. The fans can't believe it, some gasps and perplexed reactions illustrating this point in particular. Williamson, with a look if distain on his face, pivots around on one foot and upon those last few seconds of the turn, he lashes out with a very clumsy-looking clothesline....and misses. Shade ducks under like a Whack-The-Mole and once again slaps Williamson across the back of his head. The Floridan flinches, closing his eyes and breathing heavily, trying not to get too annoyed. He knows what Shade is doing here, and it's not going to work. It isn't. He means it. As he turns around he hits out again and Shade ducks once more. Shade swings that hand out once again but this time Riley knows the score. He ducks under and spind on one foot, tackling Shade and taking him down rather unexpectedly. He springs back up as Riley pulls himself together, waiting and primed. As he turns around, Williamson hits him with a clothesline that knocks him right back down again. Shade returns to his feet a second time and is met with a second clothesline. Much like Williamson, Shade is seeing a pattern here and is not going to fall for it. Returning to his feet for the last time in this little back and forth, he ducks under Riley's clothesline. The force Riley put into what he intended to be the crushing, final clothesline sends him spinning and losing his balance, which works great for Shade who has run and rebounded off those ropes and is coming back to take him down with a running bulldog. The Floridan goes slap, bang, face-first onto the mat. Shade positions himself in the corner as he waits for Riley to reach his feet again. Once he does, Shade goes running at him but Riley anticipates, grabbing the back of his head and tossing him back first into the other corner. Wasting little time Riley goes running at Shade with a big splash, which connects. This dazes the ultimate synner a little, as he stumbles out of the corner right into Williamson, who's there waiting for him and grabs him by the sides, spinning around and planting him back-first on the floor with a spinning side-slam. As Shade lies there, Sanu trots over and takes a look. Shade is definitely down. The fans know it's coming, but it doesn't stop them cheering and counting along any louder when Sanu raises his arm and counts…
1.
Shade doesn't move an inch
2..
However, he is in-fact conscious...and he knows what's going on.
3…
And he's positioned in a very good place right about now.
4..
The cunning Shade rolls under the rope right next to him, drops down off the apron onto his hands and knees and stays there on the outside.
Ted: What a smart move by Shade. Getting out the ring and using the Rules of The Last Man Standing match as you cannot be counted while outside the Ring.
Joey: Very smart on Shades part. There is a reason why he is a former XWA Hardcore Champion, folks.
Ryn Sanu has no choice but to end the count, as Riley looks on disappointed. While he didn't really believe Shade would be taken out by a mere spinning side-slam, but obviously in a match like this there was that glimmer of hope in his mind. He sees Shade crawling out there on the outside, and this is his opportunity to jump out there and go after him. Get some much-needed leverage over him. He rolls under the ropes and follows over to where Shade was last seen but...he's gone. Nowhere to be seen. Riley turns around, wondering what's going on. But then he realises. He turns around and lifts up the ring apron to see the back of Shade, crawling away at the other end. He shakes his head and slides in after him, scrambling through all the weapons that it's all very possibly Shade just threw in the way to make things harder for Williamson. Shade bursts out the other end, slides under the ropes and flies backfirst into the ropes. Williamson is too far in to turn back now, so he has to get out at the side Shade did. No other choice if he doesn't want to trample over all the weapons a second time. He comes out from under the apron, only to turn and who should be there running at him with a huge suicide dive to Riley! Williamson is knocked back into the barricades as Shade throws himself at him with full-force. Shade uses the barricade as leverage to pull himself up again. Already we're on the outside, and this is Shade's playground now. As Riley struggles his way up, Shade wanders thoughtfully around the corner to the apron right in front of the announcer's desk, looking under- picking and choosing, He throws up the ringskirts and takes a peak. It'll only be a peak right now, though. Williamson meets Shade there with the gesture of a boot to the face. Shade lies there for a few faint seconds as Riley pulls off the wooden guard for the announcers desk and throws the two monitors to the side, too. Williamson turns to Shade as he gets back up, but is met with a rather unanticipated kick in the gut. The Ultimate Synner grabs Riley’s forearm and darts him back-first into the steel steps wiith a huge 'thud. Riley rolls over them and falls to the floor, wincing in pain. Shade kicks the steps out of the way and climbs up onto the barricade, facing out towards Riley. He lifts both arms up majestically as the capacity crowd show their resentment. Riley tries to sit up but is very quickly kept grounded as Shade drops down on him with a very simple elbow drop. And to make doubly sure Riley doesn't reach his feet while Shade has a rummage around for more little ideas, he picks the top bit of the steel-steps up with both hands and with all his strength, he flings it over at Williamson, keeping him down as it smashes him in the chin. Now, Shade can have a little look around as he goes back to what he was doing- looking under the ring for lots and lots of violent things with which to inflict violence and pain upon The Hardcore Champion, enough to keep him down for ten seconds at the very least. He reaches inside rummages around, gears turning and and ideas burning in his head. He smiles as he notices a couple of appealing weapons- steel chairs, kendo sticks, a sledgehammer...you name it, it's under there and right now he's going to take...a kendo stick. In fact, now he can see it he'll take another. He throws one into the ring and keeps the other in his hand. Will crawls over unaware, and Shade displays a smirk.
Ted: I think Shade may have some Intentions in mind with that Kendo Stick.
Joey: This match is about to get Hardcore!!
Shade spins his kendo stick around like a lightsaber before swinging it up and *SMACK!!* Riley may have been crawling on all fours a second ago, but now he's going only on his knees, he's a lot quicker and he is cringing from the blinding, stinging pain he's feeling in his back right now. Even the fans wince. Riley stops and collapses to the floor on his front. Shade once again stalks Riley with the kendo stick, lifting it and bringing it down for a second time. The former New York Native holds his back as we close in on the huge red marks that have now found a new place to call home. Riley lies there on his front, the pain burning into his back. Shade slowly moves around, standing in Riley's line of vision as the Hardcore Champion tries- and is failing miserably right now- to avoid the pain and go on with this match. The Terror of Death lifts that kendo stick up for a third time and, Riley  is trying to desperately to get up, he's even using Shade as leverage. Grabbing the front of his tights, Williamson is trying his best to get back up but he ain't doing the best of jobs. Shade lifts the kendo stick up even higher but then, he is caught off guard when.. Riley swipes underneath Shade’s feet, causing him to fall down. The fans explode with Cheers as Shade falls rather brutally to the floor. Williamson continues to crawl on, grabbing the kendo stick and using it like a cane to pull himself to his feet. He stands up, rather uncomfortably with that throbbing back, but he's finally up. He looks at the kendo stick, sizing it up and down as the fans urge him to do it, to return the favour and hit Shade with the kendo stick himself. Riley throws away the kendo stick, shaking his head much to the confusion of everyone present. Instead, he turns to his side. He looks over at the thing that just so happens to be leaning up against the announcers desk- the protection panel for it that he removed earlier. Now knowing what he has to work with, he strides over to Shade and lifts him to his feet. Grabbing him, he picks him up, Shade sees the protective panel and knows exactly what Riley is going to do...or not going to do, if Shade can help it. He wriggles and pulls away from Riley's grasp, dropping to his feet and facing the back of Riley Williamson. Riley isn't given an opportunity to turn around as Shade jumps up in the air and drop-kicks Williamson in the back, sending him through the protection panel, much to the shock of everyone watching. The sound of wood-splitting and debris falling fills the air. Shade rises back to his feet and grabs the back of Williamson's head with one hand and the back of his tights with the other, spinning him towards the ring and long-darting him under the ropes and back into the ring. Following him in, Shade stomps away at Riley a few times as the terror of death struggles to even move properly. Shade pulls Riley up to his feet, kicking him in the gut a few times and then following up with a huge punch to the face, followed by a second. Shade tries for a third, but is blocked off by Riley and shoved a few steps back. Grabbing the top of Shade's head with one hand, he uses the other arm- mostly the forearm and fist- to smack Shade in the face with a huge European Uppercut from Riley Williamson, much to the obvious pleasure of the crowd. Shade is dazed for a few seconds, as is usally the case with uppercuts of a european variety, in retaliation, Shade hits back with his own, snappier version of the european uppercut. Both keep exchanging Blows as Riley responds, Shade hits back. Riley after a few seconds regains his composure and hits Shade as the Crowd gives a loud “Yay!” before a few seconds later, Shade retorts with one of his own and the Crowd gives a loud “Boo!”  Riley resp---But Shade is the one who quickly counters! He does so again and the Crowd Boo’s heavily! The Albany Native grabs the forearm and sends Riley flying over towards the ropes, the Tag Team Champion bouncing off them and coming back with force. Shade is ready for this, though. In fact, he's so prepared that he even knows what move he's going after. As Williamson comes skidding back, Shade lifts his leg up, his foot sticking out as it connects onto Riley’s head, causing it to snap back with a huge Big Boot, Riley falls back onto the mat. Shade steps back as Sanu once again rushes forward. As stated before, they're in the ring now and that means they can be counted in this Last Man Standing confrontation. With Williamson down, XWA Official, Ryn Sanu starts-
1.
Riley crawls forwards, knowing fully well there is a count going on. And he can't let it beat him.
2..
Riley stops for a brief moment to try and pull himself together.
3…
He's nearer.
4….
He's finally got that rope now, as the fans begin to cheer him on and chant his name in an effort to help revive him.
5…..
Riley uses those ropes like rungs on a ladder to pull himself to his feet, but it doesn't matter anyway. The deafening boos begin when Shade rushes forward and grabs him, clobbering Riley Williamson back over and over again like he's a punching bag, Leading Williamson to his feet, Shade taunts the Hardcore Champion. Holding his face up He socks Riley in the face with a slap so hard that it probably caused an avalanche somewhere. Gasps and breaths follow in reply. Shade continues.
Ted: Shade, showing that he isn’t playing games Tonight.
Joey: A Slap so hard that it could be heard ringing in Riley’s ears. Hah!
Another slap crosses Riley's face. With his face in clear view to us, we see the anger boiling up inside him. His face going completely red, the man almost ready to explode like a tea-kettle. Shade yells in Williamson's face some more as these fans can see clear as day that any moment now, something big is going to just blow up. It takes one more slap for Williamson to finally grab Shade by the throat and fling him back-first into the corner, but then keeps him there. The crowd is deafening as Riley rains right and left hands down on Shade, who has nowhere to run or hide right now. Finally he pulls Shade out of the corner and wraps his arms around his mid-section, following up by flinging him halfway across the ring with a belly-to-belly suplex. Stumbling back to his feet, Shade is next caught by Riley's second little trick as he turns right around into a huge bicycle kick! A few seconds down, and Ryn begins to count.
1.
2..
3…
Shade aches in pain, but as he hears the ref get to three, he decides it's best to try to keep consistently moving as not to continues count, so now he rolls onto his front and crawls. Riley stalks his prey, moving sideways until.. Just by his foot, something rolled. He looks down, and there it is from earlier- the second kendo stick. Riley slowly bends down to pick it up, levelling it as he holds it in his hands...then he peers down at Shade and...NO. He's not going to do it. Instead, like before, he's going to go for the bigger option. Throwing the kendo stick out of the ring he follows suite and rolls down under the ropes to the outside, returning to that same ringskirt Shade got all his weapons from earlier. He looks around, eyeing up everything in there until he sees it. A grin falls upon the face of Riley Williamson as he tilts his head. The type of grin that we usually see time and time again by him. But this one is more devious. More nasty,  and violent grin that we are not use to seeing. He reaches in and slowly pulls out a nice little present for Shade to enjoy. A present in the form of a long thing wooden thing with a bit of metal on the end of it. The fans cheer as Riley stands there mesmirised by the very thing Shade saw earlier- the sledgehammer. And the fans are loving it. Riley slides the sledgehammer under the ropes and looks inside the ring where...Shade is gone. Again. Nearby he hears rapid footsteps heading in his direction and turns around but it's too late. Shade jumps on Williamson from behind with a huge smack in the spine. Riley retaliates by grabbing the back of Shade's head and ramming it into the apron, and then grabbing Shade and taking him down with a power-slam where Shade hits the ground with a huge thud that can be heard by all. Standing over Shade's body, his own body aching, Riley looks to his side. To the announcers. To their desk. STILL exposed, as it was before. Ted wheels to the side of the announcer's desk as Miles moves over to the other side with a sense of ugency as Williamson picks Shade up and places him on the desk, much to the fans obvious enthusiasm. He turns and jumps up on the apron, moving at a leisurely pace. He's in no rush-knowing that Shade is possibly Knocked out. Post-by-post he climbs up to the top turnbuckle, looking down at Shade on that table. The fans grow increasingly more excited. He peers down, taking a deep breath before the inevitable plunge.
Ted: Oh god, please don’t! Don’t do this Riley! It’s not worth it!
Joey: I gotta agree with you Ted, Riley don’t!
Obviously, Riley cannot hear them. Even if he did, he probably wouldn't bat an eyelid. He'd carry on. He'd do what he's doing right now leaping off the turnbuckle and flying through the air, his elbow ready and primed with the target being Shade's chest. He hits his Signature Move, The Blading Drop! Upon reaching his destination the table shatters, like the whole world crashing beneath Riley and Shade under the weight of them. Shade rolls over in response to the whole thing, holding his mid-section in agony as the fans go completely wild.
Ted: Oh God, he may be Dead!
Joey: They Broke the Table! My god, they have Broken the Table!
The Floridan crawls forward, using the apron to pull himself up to his feet. He really shouldn't have done that, and he knows it. This match, beginning to take it's toll on him. The further into this living hell of a match he goes, the worse he feels. But he has to keep going. He has to beat Shade in order if he wants to Retain the Hardcore Championship. He drags himself across to The Terror of Death, picking him up once again by the back of the head and tights to roll him into the ring, following him in himself. But now that Shade is down and is in the ring, Sanu is fully able to start that all important count.
1.
Shade holds his bruise still.
2..
Hearing the count, he rolls over onto his side and pushes upwards.
3…
But it's no use. It's like there's a clamp on his mid-section keeping him there.
4….
He tries a second time, rolling onto his other side.
5…..
Riley watches on in wait as Shade pulls himself back up slowly but surely.
6……
7…….
Shade reaches his feet in what has been the longest count so far, and Shade is fully aware of this. Now's the time to get serious. He turns around and gets kicked in the midsection by Riley, Left and right, Riley kicks over and over again, weakening Shade little by little. But it's short-lived. Shade grabs Riley's forehead, drilling him with a right-hand to throw him off. It's not enough to put Riley away, obviously, but it's keeping him back momentarily and stop him from doing any more damage for the time being. Hell’s Pyromanic then follows this up with a european uppercut, which knocks Riley back a few steps again. Finishing this sequence Shade dropkicks Williamson right in the lower-leg, knocking Riley forwards and landing on his chin, biting down and smacking off the mat with a huge crash. He narrowly misses biting his tongue off. He holds his jaw in pain, rolling over onto his back. Warning Sanu off counting, Shade wastes no time in taking advantage of this moment, climbing up to the top rope just as Riley did before. Not everyone knows what Shade is about to do. Shade is usually the Hardcore Type of guy that uses Weapons, not really one to do some Aerial Moves. With his feet on the Top Rope, Shade doesn't waste any further time, and instead just falls forward with the move that even people who hate him can't help but be impressed by. His Elbow in front of him, with the Elbow directly hitting onto Riley’s chest. He hits a Diving Elbow Drop of his own. Now Shade stands back up, stepping back to allow the count to be made. Sanu immediately steps forward and once again that all important count begins. Riley moves onto his side. He's hurting. Hurting bad. He can just about see the entrance stage but this match is really taking it's toll.
1.
2..
Shade holds his arms out majestically, knowing this match belongs to him once again. The fans are not quite as happy about it as the Pyromanic is, which is obvious from the booing.
3…
Riley can see only one thing, the entrance stage...and coming down the ramp is one person who could possibly get Williamson up and working again. Though we see him with a Pair of Shades, and in a Black suit, The fans recognize him instantly, and the cheers fire up.
Ted: Is….Is that Jared?
Joey: My god, it is him! But why is he out here?
Ted: To maybe try to help get his Partner back into the Match?
Joey: Nah, I don’t think so. Sure, they are the Tag Team Champions but I doubt he wanna help Riley out.
Jared walks down the ramp towards the ring. Riley crawls forwards towards the rope, using the middle one to pull himself up to his feet. He stumbles and wobbles like a weeble but he's back up. Even Shade can't believe it, shaking his head as he sees the piece of Eden he directly attacked in his return walking right down towards him. Reaching the apron, Riley looks down with a smile on his face and his back to Shade. Jared smiles back...briefly. His expression turns to that of urgency as he looks behind Williamson to see Shade thundering his way towards him. Jared yells at Riley, “Watch Out!” Riley turns around quickly, sort of knowing what Hells Pyromanic's doing and hits him very quickly with a right hand upon his arrival. Then another. Then another. The fans go wild as seemingly a new lease of life fills Williamson. Shade tries to hit Riley with a clothesline but Riley ducks under and grabs Shade's arm, throwing him into the ropes. Jared passes by and as Shade reaches the ropes, he swipes under Shade's foot non-chalantly. he's not even looking as Shade goes falling flat on his face. However the fans were, and so was Riley, both exchange looks. Riley looks back at his opponent and stalks Shade, with the intent of ending this once and for all right here. Shade pulls himself to his feet as Riley sticks around behind him. As Shade turns around, Riley kicks him in the gut and lifts him up and places him onto his Shoulders. A determined expression on his face. The fans are on their feet, They know what's about to happen. Riley turns and as he does a 150 degree turn, Shade falls off his Shoulders….But lands on his feet! As Riley quickly turns around Shade grabs him by the Throat, lifts him up into the air and drops him via, a Chokeslam! In the blink of an eye, Riley is down. Completely still. The Albany Native drops to his knees coming over Williamson's shoulder after he fell backwards. He crawls over to the rope in order to make sure he's not being counted out. There are murmurs as The Hardcore Champion  doesn't move a muscle. The Master of Synn looks over, catching his breath as he slithers along the rope and wipes his mouth to check for any blood. Slowly, a sick and twisted grin begins to form on his face. A look of concern begins to show on Jared’s face. There's nothing he can do about it, though. There's no magic 'wake up Riley' button he can press. It's all down to him, now. And yet, it seems this was how it was always destined to end.
1.
2..
3…
“Come On RILEY! GET UP!!” Jared screams.
4….
Little to no Movement is made.
5…..
Riley lies there, unable to move as there is almost no energy left in him.
6……
Jared starts hitting the Mat  like a crazed guy off his meds. As the Fans begin to chant “Let’s Go Riley!”
7…….
Riley begins to Stir, rolling over onto his Belly he tries to push himself up. Meanwhile, Shade looks down and there lies the Sledgehammer that was brought in eariler by Riley. He picks it up and with the Sledgehammer in hand, Shade waits for Riley to get up.
8……..
Riley finally makes it to a wobbly verticle base and just as he turns around, The Ultimate Synner raises it up into the air, Riley looks up. Jared looks up. And then...BOOM! Riley falls down face first onto the mat.
Ted: That’s it. Riley is completely Knocked out.
Joey: That was….Brutal.
1.
2..
3…
4….
Ted: I  don’t think Riley has moved since taking that Sledgehammer to the Skill.
Joey: It’s over. Riley’s Reign is over. Shade is gonna become The New Hardcore Champion. Riley should have Regretted Shade’s offer.
5…..
Riley lies there, blood dripping from his head. He wants to move. He wishes he could, he really does. But it just isn't happening.
6……
Jared puts her head in her hands. It's over. This whole pot-dream of a career is done and Riley is going out in the worst way. And everyone is feeling it, not just Jared. But the fans. The women, the men, the children. The people selling hot-dogs are even feeling deflated.
7…….
Riley, who is still breathing and Alive, looks up at the Top of the Arena as his eyes glare at the Light’s.
8……..
Standing out of their seats, every man, woman and child repeat in unison "Let’s Go Riley!", the entire Arena is united in their support of Riley Williamson. Jared leans on the Apron and watches Riley, hoping not only that his Partner is alive but also, hoping this will sturr something.
9………
The Albany Native looks around, shaking his head. Not that he cares what they're chanting, he's just confident nothing will come of it. But, well...he's not thinking of what Riley is now. The Hardcore Champion hears the chants clear as day, and that's one of the things he needed. Rolling onto his stomach, he begins the push himself up. You can literally see the look of determination in his face.
10..
The fans erupt as Riley stands on two feet, wobbling slightly for a few seconds until he maintains his balance. Shade stands stunned silent, his mouth wide open as Riley turns around and looks at him. Jared breathes a sigh of relief. Riley stares over at Jared, breathing heavily as the ultimate synner shakes his head in disbelief. He had that won. Just half a second longer and he would’ve been The New Hardcore Champion. But it was not to be. Not at this moment, anyway. Riley puts his hands infront of his Face, signaling for Shade to bring it. Blood dripping down his face, hands shaking as Riley runs purely on adrenaline, the astonished Shade steps forward just as Riley does as they pursue the center of the ring.
Ted: I can’t believe that this match is still going on. especially Riley. This guy is like a Machine!
Joey: It’s these Fans Ted. God, how I Fucking hate them.
In mere seconds the two are at it again, right there in the middle of the ring. Riley and Shade lock their hands into the grip of the another man and push forward in a powerful test of strength. Pressing their faces up against each other, pushing like they're fighting for their last meal. They've been through a hell of a lot in this match- tables exploding below them, hammers, kendo sticks, chain-wrestling and now as we reach this part of the match, it can only get bigger from here. After a while, Riley slowly gains the upper hand and moves Shade's arms to his right, shoving them both on one side. With Riley's left hand, he smacks Shade with a back-hand and knees him in the gut before pushing him away to let the pain simmer. The Floridan grabs Shade by the forearm and flings him into the ropes. When Shade comes back, Riley tries to go for a big clothesline but Shade ducks, rolls over Riley's slighty arched back, hooks his head and drives it into the mat with a Signature move that he likes to call SYN Surgery (Facebreaker DDT). He's not done, though. Grabbing Riley by the face and pulling him up to his knees. Shade throws him over the top rope as his feet land on the Apron. With Riley leaning against the ropes, Shade begins to Smile. An Evil Smile at that, knowing he has the Hardcore Champion right where he wants him. Delivering a Kick to the Sturdom Riley bends down and Shade wraps his arm around the neck of Williamson. he pulls the Deadweight of Williamson forward and turns around, setting up for his Finishing Move, SYN Drive (Rope Hung Stunner) But there is still life in the Champion. As Shade drops down trying to hit his Finisher, Riley’s forearm gets caught on the top rope causing Shade to fall on his bottom. Riley re-enters the ring now and begins to Stalk his opponent….But something else has caught his attention, he lifts his right foot up and see’s the weapon that Shade used on him eariler and picks it up. He eyes it for abit before Shade fully gets back to a base. The Ultimate Synner turns around and Riley lunges forward with the Hammer in hand, sending the cold , metal of the Hammer onto the Skill of Shade. Shade moves back from the Impact as he faintly moves back towards the Ropes, Riley drops the Hammer and when Shade wobbly and almost unconsiously moves forward lifts him up onto his Shoulders. Riley then does a 150 Degree spin turn, Shade’s body goes flying off of his shoulders and his body hits the Mat as Riley hits his Finisher, The Torrential Drop! (F5) The fans jump out their seats, HUGE cheers coming from all ends of the arena as Shade plummets to the ground like a tree that's been cut. Williamson moves backwards into the corner, using the middle turnbukcle to keep himself afloat as he catches his breath. Sanu steps forward and checks Shade over. Within moments, he begins to count.
1.
2..
3…
Ted: This may be it! Shade might be done here!
Joey: Goddammit Shade, get up!
4….
Shade crawls forwards towards the rope, much to the fans' obvious disliking. Riley just stands back. He's too out of breath to do anything right now.
5…..
Shade inches towards the rope, trying to pull himself up. The world watches with baited breath
6……
Ted: Shade may be trying to get back up here! He may not be done just yet!
Joey: C’Mon! That’s it Shade! Use your Strength, use everything that you have!
7…….
Shade reaches the second rope where he…
8……..
Slips down and drops onto his front, losing his footing! The crowd rise to their feet, in anticipation
Ted: I don’t think he is gonna make it! This match may be over!
Joey: NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
9………
The fans are already cheering. They know it's coming. Shade shows no signs of even trying to get back up. Riley walks forwards, letting out a deep breath as Sanu raises those arms for that count of…
10……….
