PostSubject: Re: ME | Maddox Paine vs. Hitman Alex(C)   ME | Maddox Paine vs. Hitman Alex(C) EmptySat May 31, 2014 11:42 pm

DING! DING! DING!

The bell rings three time, signaling the start of this World title match, as well as the main event of this milestone Vendetta 80 episode! The big Maddox Paine stands on one side of the ring with his manager, Eric Goodman on his side. The World Champ, Hitman Alex, stands on the other side. As the bell rings, both men move towards each other. Hitman Alex begins to mouth inaudible crap to the former World Champ and Maddox then mouths something that is more than likely some sort of vague threat to the current World Champ. They instantly get into an aggressive collar and elbow lock up. Maddox forces the smaller Hitman into the corner quickly but Alex uses the momentum to bounce off the corner and force Maddox into the middle ropes in the same lock up. Maddox bounces off the ropes, keeping the lock up in and now shoves Alex into the opposite turnbuckle. Paine pulls back on the lock up before swinging a huge boot, catching Hitman directly in the ribs. Paine follows up with rapid right blows. As soon as he begins to throw them, Alex covers his head for protection. Referee Jack Hammer doesn't know how he is going to control the former World Champ. He doesn't have to, as “The Highlight” quickly bursts out of the corner with a huge European Uppercut! Eric Goodman cringes a bit on the impact. The Titan stumbles back as Hitman Alex quickly darts out of the corner. He begins to pounce on the World Champ by throwing a big stomp right to the gut. The not-very-enthusiastic crowd gives him a negative response as he begins to try and fight back against the dangerous but beloved Maddox Paine.

Cedar: “Both of these men starting off quite relentlessly. This is a big match and they both know what is at stake!”

Miles: “I hope Hitman Alex kicks Paine's ass for the third time. Paine is a loser!”

Paine tries to ignore the pain of the stomp as he throws a big right fist, catching Alex right on the jaw. Alex fires back with another big stomp to the big man's gut, and this time he manages to force Maddox Paine to double over. Alex quickly tries to wrap his hands around Paine's head for an HKO, but before the fans can get too excited over it, Maddox shoves him forward towards the ropes. Hitman Alex bounces back towards Maddox Paine as The Titan does a full vertical spin and catches Hitman Alex with a huge Spinning Wheel Kick directly to the forehead, something Paine has never done in his career so far. Maddox doesn't go for a cover, because this is slowly becoming personal and he knows that wouldn't put him away. Alex grabs his forehead on the ground as Paine stands right back up. Maddox raises both arms up in fists, getting the crowd to give him a positive response, which he enjoys. Meanwhile, Alex gets up to his feet. Paine waits for him before swinging a big right hand, square in the center of the ring. “The Highlight” stumbles back as the world champ is right on top of him. As Hitman stumbles into a corner, Paine tries to follow him, but is suddenly nailed in the face by a big right hand courtesy of a responsive Hitman Alex.

Cedar: “Back and forth now, neither man wants to allow the other a chance to get the upper hand.”

Miles: “I thought this was a title match? Give him your best, Hitman! That smug little cunt can't win this, stop slacking around!”

Hitman bounces out of the corner with another huge right hand. Maddox stumbles to the side a bit as both of these fairly large dudes brawl it out. Alex tries to take advantage of the fact that he has the upper hand as he darts towards Maddox Paine, but he is unaware of the tenacity of Paine, and is not ready for what comes. Paine hugs Alex mid-run before flinging him way overhead with a huge belly to belly launch! “Mr. Center of Attention” hits the mat hard as he rolls up to his feet in pain. Alex grabs his spine and moans as he stands up near the turnbuckle. Almost immediately, Maddox Paine darts towards Hitman Alex. Paine leaps into the air about mid-run towards the corner as he attempts a stinger splash, but the smart Hitman Alex shoves himself out of the way at the last second and the “God Amongst Men” flies chest-first into the corner! Paine stumbles out of it, moaning, and the veteran Hitman Alex takes advantage. Alex hooks his arms under Paine's from behind and in an impressive show of strength, sends him flying backwards with a neat-looking Full Nelson Suplex, taking a bit out of himself as that was quite a hard move to pull off. Maddox goes spine first into the mat nastily as Alex drops to one knee. Once again, Eric Goodman is a bit worried outside the ring as he urges Maddox to be careful. Hitman Alex goes for the fairly early pin!

“1!”

“2!” - Kickout at almost 2.

Miles: “Wooo! That's how it's done, bitches! Get him, Alex!”

Cedar: “Do you actually like him, or are you just pretending to because you hate Paine?”

Before Miles can answer, the focus leads right back into the ring. Hitman Alex slowly gets up to his feet as Paine rolls on the ground. Alex takes advantage of the fact that Paine is down as he quickly sends a huge stomp right to Paine's left shoulder. Alex throws another, and another, trying to pick apart the “Toughest of the Tough”. Hitman Alex then focuses on the mid-section, beginning to send hard stomps to that part of his body as he drives his boot onto his spine. Maddox rolls over and exits the ring by dropping out through under the bottom rope. Alex is inside the ring and he looks around for a bit, deciding to pander to the crowd. He raises both hands up to the sides, receiving very loud mixed reactions. He begins to wander towards the area where Maddox Paine is, outside the ring. Alex drops down and rolls out of the ring, making sure the ref has to restart the count. Alex begins to walk over to Maddox, but almost out of the blue, The Titan sprints towards him at full speed and slams him down to the hard matted floor with a huge running lariat! The crowd begins to cheer loudly again as the more liked one of the two men begins to get the advantage again. Eric Goodman backs away, standing on the other side of the outside as he doesn't wanna get in between these men. Both men are now near the steel post and Paine listens to the Jack Hamer's count of “4!” and he knows his lariat isn't going to keep Alex down so he bends over and picks him up. As soon as he does, the resilient Hitman Alex fights back with a huge right hand to Paine's stomach. Before Maddox can react, the tough SOB in Alex bounces up with another kick right to his gut. As soon as Maddox doubles down, Alex grabs his long hair before pulling him straight up as hard as he can, sending the back of The Titan's head directly into the steel ring post! Before Paine can drop to the mat, the athletic Hitman Alex leaps up high and decks him right on the chin with the point of both feet, dropping him to the floor with a huge standing dropkick!

Cedar: “A beautiful show of athleticism off that dropkick by Hitman Alex!”

Miles: “Look at that fuckin' pussy Maddox, one blow and he's on the ground!”

Cedar: “Well, I don't care how tough you are, a steel post is a steel post!”

“6!” - Jack Hammer is warning both men to get inside the ring! Hitman Alex looks up angrily before sliding under the bottom rope and then rolling right back out, much to the dismay of Mr. Hammer. Hitman Alex goes back to what he was doing before he was rudely interrupted. He turns his attention over to Maddox, as Paine begins to slowly crawl up to his feet. Alex notices and he gets a big chuckle on his face. As Maddox gets on his hands and knees, Hitman darts forward and decks him with a big kick to the stomach, in a very heel-ish fashion, something Alex has been slowly developing the past few weeks. Some fans boo, but the World Champ has cared less and less, especially now that he's the champion!. “Mr. Center of Attention” then crouches down and begins to rake the champion up to his feet. Paine doesn't take too kindly to the kick to his stomach, and he quickly uses all his muscle to shove Hitman Alex back nastily. Alex goes flying into the security barricade! His back hits it so hard that he stumbles forward in pain, which Paine takes advantage of as he charges towards him, leaps into the air, and takes him down with another running lariat, this one with an added leap to it! Alex falls back-first onto the thinly padded ground. Paine gets a motivating response from the crowd members in the front row as he tries to shake off whatever pain he is in to try and capitalize on Hitman Alex's show of weakness. “4!” - once again, Hammer is urging both men to stop what they're doing and get back inside the ring. Maddox ignores the poor referee's urges and instead quickly drops on top of Alex and begins to pound away with hard right hands as he mounts “Mr. Reasonable Doubt.” Hitman covers his head as Maddox swings sick, unforgiving right hands. His black-taped fists show no remorse for “The Highlight's” well-being. Maddox feels that he has dealt enough punishment as he stands up. Both men are getting nearer and nearer to the announcers' table with every fight.

Miles: “These two fuckers are getting a little too close for my liking. Tell them to back away, tubby!”

Ted Cedar: “...and what is Maddox Paine doing now?”

Paine tears off the top of the commentator's desk. The referee urges him not to, however putting someone through the announcers table is always legal – for some reason. Maddox definitely has a message to deliver to Alex, and that's all that matters right now. Paine removes the monitors and begins to reveal the table. He wipes it clean of all their papers and what-not as he turns his attention back to Hitman Alex. Alex has begun to recover, but before he can pounce, Maddox does. Paine swings a big right foot and catches Alex in the face with a big boot! Instead of falling to the ground, Alex stumbles wildly to the side and lands in the time-keepers area, using the surrounding barricade to keep himself up on his knees. Paine notices he hasn't fallen completely and begins to follow him into the timekeepers area. Unbeknownst to Maddox, Hitman Alex has already planned an attack. He quickly throws his fingers up and pokes him in the eyes! Jack Hammer can not possibly be any more disappointed in both of these men, but he doesn't want to end this in a DQ just yet. He instead pointlessly urges Hitman Alex to “watch the eyes.”

Cedar: “Hitman Alex with a sneaky move! He just took a blatant shortcut!”

Miles: “I don't care either way! He stopped that savage motherfucker from ripping apart this table, we should be thanking him!”

As Paine stumbles out in... well, pain, all in his eyes. Hitman Alex takes his time to recover. He gets back up to his feet completely before kicking the bigger man in the gut, wrapping his own arm around his opponent's head, and then driving him into the thinly-padded ground with a sick DDT! “7!” - yells the distraught referee. Once again, Hitman Alex slides into the ring and then rolls back out. Hammer scolds him for the hundredth time to “get in the ring!” - Alex ignores his call and heads back towards his opponent. Maddox is on one knee, trying not to fall all the way to the ground. Alex then decides to use his strength again. He quickly tucks his arm under Maddox's arm and aids him as Paine gets up to his feet. Alex then grabs a hold of his tights and launches him up and over, dropping him across the outside with a sickening Death Note, Hitman Alex's signature Olympic Slam! Paine grabs his back in agony as Hitman Alex gets right back up to his feet. The World Champ slily sneaks back into the ring, this time, he is ok with Maddox getting counted out. Paine lies on the ground, beaten and bruised. Hammer is at “3!” - as the fans nervously begin to count along. “4!” - Paine struggles to bring himself even somewhat to life. “5!” - He shakes the cobwebs off, knowing that he can't get himself counted out. Not here. “6!” - Maddox tries and tries, but his body has possibly given up on him. “7!” - Paine stumbles up to one knee, working his way up. “8!” - Paine stumbles forward like a newborn deer learning to walk. “9!” - He uses all his energy to dart forward... Jack Hammer raises his hand to call for the final count! …but Paine slides into the ring right before the 10, causing a barrage of cheers to come from the audience!

Miles: “GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!”

Cedar: “Maddox just barely beat the ten count!”

Hitman Alex is already up, and he pounces on Maddox as he slides in as he begins to pound away, trying to keep Paine grounded. Alex swings and swings as he is on two knees. Paine fights it off, but Alex already has the upper hand. Maddox gets on one knee as Hitman Alex gets right back up to his feet. Hitman swings another gut kick before wrapping his arm around the bigger man's head and swinging him down for a quick Swinging Neckbreaker! Hitman Alex then gets right back up to his feet and – like some sort of hyena – begins to admire his work. He has managed to keep his enemy of a few months down. The man that dominated the roster is at his feet. Sure, it may have been through sneaky tactics and using his veteran instincts to beat down the man who is – relatively – a rookie, but he has him down, and that's what matters. Hitman Alex feels that this accomplishment deserves a bit of showboating. He looks over to his 'loving fans' and quickly gives a big pose by raising his arms into the air smugly. The Vendetta 80 crowd doesn't give him a very proper response, as they shower him in loud boos! Alex's face becomes a frown as he turns back to his opponent. Maddox Paine slowly works his way to his feet as the number one contender angrily back over to him.

Miles: “Hitman Alex is right on top of this shit. Maddox got nothing on him!”

Cedar: “I will say this, Hitman Alex has had the upper hand throughout most of this match! That is impressive indeed!”

Hitman Alex presses his boot against the forehead of Maddox Paine and then stomps downwards, grazing Paine's forehead with his boot. Maddox presses his palm against his head to ease the pain. The fans begin to give Hitman Alex another negative response as he continues his heelish tactics. Alex pulls Maddox Paine up off the ground and he quickly bashes his head against the top turnbuckle nastily. Paine leans on his back against the corner and Alex swings a big time right hand, and another, and another. He begins to assault the big man with rapid right hands to try and keep him in the corner. Hitman Alex then raises his foot and begins to stomp away. Paine bends over a bit and Hitman Alex presses his boot against Paine's neck before sandwiching him into the turnbuckle. The referee can do nothing to stop him, seeing as he is relentless. But he will try anyway, as he begins to count. “1!” “2!” “3!” - he then tries to pull Hitman Alex back, away from Paine. Maddox presses both hands on Alex's boot and tries to shove him back but Alex is being stubborn. Alex releases his boot from his neck and then pulls Paine towards him. Hitman Alex whips Maddox Paine to the opposite side of the ropes and then bends over for a back body drop. Too bad for him, Maddox has built some momentum! Paine stops mid way, grabs Hitman's head, and then nails him with a big signature Knee Facebuster! The fans get off their asses and for the first time in several minutes begin to cheer! Maddox runs to the ropes behind him quickly as Hitman is groggy. Paine charges forward and gets him with another signature, his Running Knee Lift, very “Game-like” *hint hint* Hitman Alex hits the mat but refuses to let his momentum die! “The Highlight” rolls to the side and gets right back up to his feet. He turns around quickly, right into an angry Maddox, who rakes him up onto his shoulder before dropping to two knees for a sickening signature Standing Spinebuster! The fans are on their feet!

Cedar: “...and Maddox has quickened the pace! He has taken control! He reverses the momentum and now Hitman Alex is down!”

Miles: “This does not look good for Hitman Alex. Fuck... Fuck!”

Maddox is hurting but he is hyped up at this point! He gives a big roar before throwing both arms to the sides, receiving a massive response from the crowd! Hitman Alex rolls on the ground, holding his spine in agony. The Titan quickly walks up to him and brings him up before pressing Alex's head between his legs, the fans know what's coming! It's time for a Titan Bomb! But as soon as he raises Alex up, Hitman dead-weights it. Alex lands on both feet as he forces himself away from Maddox. Hitman Alex quickly throws his arm around Paine's chest as he goes for a Snake Bite (Rock Bottom)! Alex raises the big man up with all of his strength and then drives him into the mat, executing the maneuver! The fans moan, thinking that it's all over for the former World Champ now! Hitman Alex crawls on over to his opponent and hooks a leg, going for the pin!

“1!”

“2!”

-Kickout at 2!

Alex rolls off the big man as he is in complete shock at the fact that Maddox Paine just kicked out of one of his finishers! Hitman Alex moans and pounds the mat, hoping that this would have ended the idea of Paine taking away his title!

Miles: “HOW THE FUCK DOES HE DO THINGS LIKE THAT? C'mon! That should have been over right there, dammit!”

Cedar: “That is what makes Maddox Paine the monster that he is. You can knock him down many times, but it's almost impossible to keep him down. He just won't give up!”

Hitman Alex is running out of options. But he knows what his next move will be. He is going to end this match with his final resort, his main finisher, the HKO! Alex drops down next to the grounded Maddox Paine as he begins to pound away with both fists at the mat. Eric Goodman cringes outside the ring, not wanting this to happen right now. Alex pounds and pounds the mat with both fists, waking Maddox Paine up. The Titan rolls onto his side as he begins to come back to life, mainly through encouragement from his own hated opponent. Alex urges him to stand up and he poises himself, ready to strike. “Mr. Center of Attention” stalks Maddox Paine, waiting for him to turn around. Paine is on his feet and he groggily begins to turn towards his opponent. Hitman Alex leaps up into the air for an HKO, but Paine comes back to life! He shoves Alex forward, forcing him to run towards the ropes. As soon as he does, Maddox darts backwards, bouncing against the opposite ropes. Hitman Alex is completely dumbfounded as he darts off the ropes towards the center of the ring. Maddox Paine leaps into the air, charges his entire body forward as hard as he can, and he drops Hitman Alex to the mat with a devastating Striking Spear! The fans go berserk as Paine just about decimated Hitman Alex with that powerful maneuver!

Miles: “Oh no! Oh no! God DAMMIT!”

Cedar: “This doesn't look good for Hitman Alex! What a devastating Spear he was just dealt!!”

Unfortunately for Maddox, dealing that spear knocked the life out of himself as well. He is completely out of it as well. The referee begins to count both men out as neither one shows any sign of life! “1!” - the fans begin to clap and chant “THIS IS AWESOME!” as neither man makes a move. “2!” “THIS IS AWESOME!” - “3!” “THIS IS AWESOME” - “4!” now the fans begin to clap for either man to get up, preferably Maddox. “5!” - clap, clap, clap, clap Maddox begins to drag himself over to Hitman Alex. “6!” - Maddox is almost there, Hitman Alex is still completely out of it. “7!” Paine drapes a single arm over Alex's chest, hoping to end it here and now. Hammer drops to the mat for the pin.

“1!”

“2!”

“3!” - No! Hitman Alex somehow manages to get the shoulder up! The fans go “OOOOOH” at the sight of the World Champ managing to get out of what they thought was the end of the match!

Miles: “HOLY MOTHER OF SHIT! He kicked out, Cedar! He fucking kicked out!”

Cedar: “I am astonished by both of these men. Neither one wants to go down!”

Paine now begins to furiously pound the mat, angry at the idea of Hitman Alex kicking out. Sure, he took a long time to make the pin, but he thought he had the win nonetheless. Maddox slowly begins to get up to his feet, Hitman Alex miraculously does the same. Both men are now pretty far from each other as they each hold a ring rope on one side and traverse to their feet. Both men stand up and groggily wobble towards each other. Quickly, Paine throws a huge right hand, after clutching the back of Hitman's head with his left. The fans respond with “YEAH!” - but then Hitman Alex darts back with an impactful right hand of his own. “BOO!” Maddox responds. “YEAH” Hitman responds “BOO” “YEAH!” “BOO!” “YEAH!” “BOO!” “YEAH!” “YEAH!” “YEAH!” Maddox Paine begins to deliver quick right hands, getting the upper hand and the momentum on his side. Paine then shoves Hitman Alex into the ropes, but is countered by Hitman Alex, who decides to whip him instead. Maddox comes back at Hitman Alex and hits him with a second signature Running Knee Lift! Nailing the back of his right knee into Hitman Alex's skull! Alex drops to the ground but the world champ gets right back up to his feet. Wobbly. He heads towards Paine, who lifts him up off the ground onto his shoulder before charging forward as fast as he can, and in a single thrust, driving him flat in the center of the ring with a signature Running Powerslam!

Miles: “C'mon, Alex! Fight back, dammit!”

Cedar: “The World Champ is in a very bad position here!”

Maddox scouts the ring and realizes he only has one option left. He sees the turnbuckle and thinks that maybe it's time for a little top rope action. Paine exits the ring onto the apron and then walks over to the corner. He begins to symbolically and literally “ascend” the ring post as he climbs up. He makes it to the very top as he prepares for his signature Diving Leg Drop! Except first, he decides to raise both arms into the air in the forms of fists, receiving a loud and positive ovation from his thousands of fans here in South Carolina. Maddox takes a little bit too much time, however, as Hitman Alex has groggily fought back up to his feet! Alex darts to the ropes and forces Maddox to slow down. Alex climbs up to the top as Paine sits on his ass on the top rope. Hitman Alex stands on the second rope and begins to swing some hard right hands, weakening the big man. The fans begin to boo as Alex shouts obscenities to both Paine and to the fans. Eric Goodman stands outside, remaining vigilant and bringing hope to his client. Paine takes blow after right-handed blow. Alex is relentless. Hitman Alex then gets a nasty chuckle on his face as he turns around and eyes the center of the ring. He has a plan. Alex quickly climbs up to the very top rope as he stands right in front of the seated Maddox Paine. The XWA World Heavyweight Champion quickly leaps up as high as he can while scissoring his legs around the neck of the Number One Contender, going for a Super Hurricanrana! Unfortunately for the champ, Maddox Paine keeps a hold of him around his neck, much to the fans instant cheers! Maddox Paine thrusts Alex – who is shaking his head in fear – back up onto his shoulders! Paine springs to life in those last few seconds as he quickly leaps off the second rope with Alex on his shoulders and he drives him into the center of the ring with an enormous Titan Bomb! The fans go insane with cheers as Paine musters up whatever energy he has left to keep the seated position in, executing a pin! Jack Hammer drops to the mat for the possible final pinfall of the match!

1!

2!

3!

DING! DING! DING!

Watts: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this match and NEW XWA World Heavyweight Champion... The Titan... MADDOX PAAAAAINE!”

Miles: “NO! NO! NO! Hitman Alex, you failure! Really? HOLY SHIT! NO! THIS IS THE WORST DAY EVER! FUUUUCK!!!!”

Cedar: “Maddox does it! Maddox is a two-time XWA World Champion!”

The fans go berserk at the announcement of Maddox once again becoming World Champ! Eric Goodman springs with joy to the timekeepers table and he rakes the title away. He slides into the ring to greet a grounded Maddox Paine. As soon as Hammer counted the “3” Paine dropped onto his back to rest his wounds. Maddox rolls off of Hitman Alex as he gets on one knee, panting and breathing very heavily. Eric Goodman holds the World Title high above his own head as he chuckles at “The Titan.” Maddox has once again risen to fame and he has once again ascended to the top of the food chain. “Inside the Fire” by Disturbed blares throughout the arena as Maddox makes his way to his feet amidst the roaring fans.

Miles: “I am so done with this show. Can it just be Vendetta #81 already, please? Fuck Maddox Paine!”

Cedar: “What an amazing match and after tonight, no one can say that that man right there does not deserve to be called the World Champion! Goodnight everybody!”

Maddox climbs up to the turnbuckle as he raises the title into the air, showing it off for the countless fans in attendance and those watching at home. He receives another loud amount of cheers as he has regained his prize. Maddox smiles as he feels proud of his accomplishments. The camera shows one last shot of Hitman Alex – who is completely out of it on the ground and has no idea that his title has been taken from him – before shifting back to a final shot of Maddox raising the title high above his head. The show fades to black as the XWA Vendetta logo appears on the bottom-right corner.

PostSubject: Re: ME | Maddox Paine vs. Hitman Alex(C)   ME | Maddox Paine vs. Hitman Alex(C) EmptySat May 31, 2014 11:50 pm

As Maddox is coming down the ramp, Alex runs towards the ropes and he goes through the middle ropes as he goes to the outside. Eric, who's coming down with Maddox, sees Alex trying to attack Maddox before the match. Eric tells Maddox to watch out as he moves out the way. Alex and Maddox begin to swing punches back and forth at the bottom of the entrance ramp. The fans cheer as both of these guys are brawling. Alex swings a punch to the face, but Maddox returns two back-to-back. Alex grabs Maddox by his head and connects with a Knee to Mid-section, but Maddox continues to connect with punches back. Alex swings back, but Maddox is fighting back. Alex blocks one of the punches, and connects with a Kick to the mid-section, which stops Maddox from swinging back for a few seconds. Alex takes advantage real quick as he grabs him by his head and throws it towards the apron, as Maddox connects face-first against the apron. The referee, who's inside, is yelling at both men telling them to come inside the ring, but Alex ignores him. Alex grabs Maddox by his head once again and throws it against the apron once again, and Maddox's head goes directly towards the apron. Maddox drops to one knee, but gets picked up by Alex once again as Alex sends Maddox over the apron and back inside the ring under the bottom ropes. Alex slides back inside the ring as well. The timekeeper officially rings the bell as the match has officially started with both men inside the ring.

DING DING DING

Ted Cedar: And there goes the bell, both men starting the match outside.

Joey Miles: Alex cannot live without the World Heavyweight Championship, Ted. He fuckin can't. I mean for god's sake he was here every night calling out David and JHalc for screwing him out of the title, and he had to work his ass off to get a title shot and rightfully did so. He's a true champion and he's going to prove it right now. You can see it in his eyes that he wants nothing more than to retain what he gained, that World Championship.

Maddox is trying to get up, but Alex gets his hand on him before he can. Alex picks him up and puts him against the corner as Alex connects with some jabs to the face, and follows that with a Knife Edge Chop. Maddox feels the pain in his chest. Alex goes for another chop and connects with it. Alex goes for a third Knife Edge Chop, but Maddox ducks and moves behind Alex. Alex turns around, and now he's the one against the corner as The Titan connects with a Knife Edge Chop of his own. The crowd cheers as Maddox is connecting with several jabs to the face of the World Champion as the referee tells Maddox to calm down and back off a little. Maddox grabs Alex by his hand and Irish Whips him to the corner across. Alex runs and connects with the corner with his back. Maddox quickly runs towards Alex, but Alex lifts his right foot up, and Maddox runs right into it. Maddox grabs his face as he walks away from him and towards the middle of the ring. Maddox turns around and Alex runs towards him with a Clothesline, but Maddox ducks and runs to the ropes. Alex turns around to look at Maddox who returns to him connecting with a Shoulder Block that knocks Alex to the mat. Maddox quickly hooks the leg, but before the referee could even count, Alex kicks out. Alex turns around and tries to crawl away from Maddox, but Maddox doesn't let him get far as he bends down to pick him up. Maddox quickly grabbing Alex by his head to throw him against the top turnbuckle. Alex's head bounces off as he almost falls back, but Maddox catches him and sends him against the top turnbuckle again as Alex connects face-first. Maddox turns Alex around and connects with a Knife Edge Chop that makes Alex lean against the ropes. Maddox quickly Irish Whips Alex once again to the opposite ropes, and this time Alex bounces and returns to Maddox who is going for a Big Boot, but Alex ducks down last second. Maddox realizes he missed so he runs to the ropes as Alex runs to the opposite ropes as well and as both men bounced off the ropes almost at the same time, they return to each other, but Alex is the one who gets the upper-hand. Alex jumps on Maddox connecting with a Lou Thezs Press as Alex continues to connect with several strikes to the face of the former World Champion, as The Titan tries to block it. The referee begins to tell Alex to get off of him, but Alex ignores him. The referee begins to count for Alex to get off, and if he doesn't Alex will be disqualified. Alex eventually gets off as The referee reaches the count of three, out of five. Alex runs to the ropes that are next to him as he bounces off and returns to Maddox, who's still laid out, and jumps up as he comes down connecting with a Knee Drop onto Maddox's head. Maddox lets out a yell as he grabs his forehead. Alex quickly hooks the legs as the referee slides next to the cover and begins to count. "One".....but Maddox kicks out after the first count.

Ted Cedar: Alex goes for a cover, but Maddox kicks out. Maddox needs to kick out. Maddox needs to avoid every predicament cause Alex will do anything to stay the champion.

Alex picks Maddox back up as he makes him lean against the ropes as Alex Irish Whips Maddox, but The Titan counters and Irish Whips Alex instead. Alex bounces off the ropes, but Maddox pulling a move out of Alex's book as Maddox connects with a Lou Thesz Press of his own as the fans cheer loudly for that move. Maddox, on top of Alex, connecting with some jabs, but the referee tells Maddox to get off of him. Alex, surprised by that move, rolls back up only to find Maddox running towards him connecting with Reverse Elbow, knocking him down. Maddox lets out a roar as he gets a great crowd reaction as the fans cheer. Maddox looks at Alex, who's on the mat with his stomach on the canvas, shaking his head trying to get back into the match. Maddox waiting for Alex to get up, as Alex starts to get up. As Alex is up, he turns around and Maddox quickly kicks him in the mid-section and quickly tries to put him in-between his legs. Seems like Maddox trying to go for the Titan Bomb in the early going, but Alex quickly drops to his knees and rolls away from Maddox and to the outside of the ring. Maddox tries to stop him, but Alex is already outside the ring. Ironically, Alex gets out of the ring on the same side that Eric is standing at. Eric looks scared as Alex looks right at him and runs towards him connecting with a Clothesline. Eric drops down as Alex smiles, but that only pisses Maddox off more. The referee tells Alex to get back inside, but Maddox doesn't let the referee hand that situation. Maddox wants to handle the situation on his own as he runs to the outside of the ring and quickly goes for Alex. Alex runs towards Maddox, but Paine extends and lifts his right foot and connects with a Big Boot, that knocks the champ down. The crowd cheers as Maddox turns his attention away from Alex as he bends down and checks up on his good friend and manager, Eric Goodman. Maddox is checking up on Eric as Maddox is telling Eric that he wants him to go backstage so he won't get hurt. Maddox helps Eric to get back up as he tries to help him walk around the ring and towards the entrance ramp as two referees come running down to help Eric to the back, but while all of this is going on the referee has been counting and he's already on his seventh count. Alex has gotten back up and he slides back inside the ring, while Maddox is helping his friend. The referee yells out "8" as Maddox turns around and realizes he's about to get counted out and sees Alex inside the ring. Maddox quickly lets the referee do their job and let them take Eric to the back. Maddox rushes to the ring as the referee yells out "9". Maddox slides inside the ring, but Alex runs towards him and begins to stomp onto him.

Ted Cedar: Maddox almost being counted out due to making sure his manager and friend, Eric, gets helped to the back.

Joey Miles: He's not champion material. If I were him, I would of let the referee do their job and come all the way down to the ramp to help him, not risk a match, specially a fuckin' title match.

Alex continues to stomp on The Titan as the referee tries to pull him off. Alex backs off Maddox as he gives the Titan a few seconds to recover, something Alex doesn't normally do. The referee tries to check on Maddox, but Alex runs back to Maddox and continues to stomp om him, specially mostly his right foot, as if he has a plan. The referee tries to grab Alex and pull him away, but Alex continues to stomp on the former World Champ. The referee tells him that he's the official and if he puts his hands on him, he will get disqualified. Alex tells the referee that he doesn't care as he continues to walk towards Maddox. The World Heavyweight Champion bends down to pick Maddox back up as he sets him right on the corner. Alex bends down to grab Maddox's right foot as he lifts it up and sets it on the second rope that's on his right. Alex sets the foot over the second rope and brings it back inside through under the second rope, putting pressure on it. The referee tries to tell Alex to stop, but he doesn't. The referee begins to count as Maddox is yelling in pain. "One", "Two", "Three", "Four", and Alex lets go as he smiles. Maddox tries to hold his foot, but Alex grabs it again and pulls on it, putting pressure on the right foot. The referee tells Alex to get off, but Alex doesn't listen once again and that forces the referee to start his count once again. "One", "Two", "Three", "Four", but Alex lets go once again. Mr. CEO grabs The Titan by his head as he makes him get out of the corner. only to throw his head against the top turnbuckle. Maddox connects face-first against the top turnbuckle and he drops to one knee. Alex goes through the middle ropes as he steps outside. The World Champion getting booed by the fans near him, as he ignores him and focuses back in the match. Alex extends his arms inside the ring by the ring pole, as he grabs onto Maddox legs and pulls him closer to the pole. Alex has the pole in-between Maddox's legs as Alex grabs onto the right leg and swings it against the steel pole. Maddox lets out a roar as Alex smiles and grabs the right foot once again and swings it against the Steel Pole once again. Maddox tries to get a hold of his right foot as he tries to crawl back and away from the pole, but Alex catches him before he could move far. Alex goes for the left leg this time, but Maddox using the little strength he has on his lower body to bring his legs in and making Alex hit his face right against the Steel Pole. Maddox crawls and rolls away from the pole, giving him some time as Alex drops to one knee outside after connecting face-first against the Steel Ring Post. The referee starts to count Alex out as Maddox rolls to the middle of the ring and tries to heal as long as he can. Alex tries to grab onto the apron covers to pull himself up as the referee yells out "Two". The crowd cheering for Maddox to get up as he turns from being on his back against the mat to being on his stomach. Alex pulls on the apron covers to get up as the referee yells for a three. The referee continues to counts as he gets to his fourth count and Alex has gotten back up, but still outside. Maddox using the strength he has left in his system to get back up as the referee yells out five. Alex manages to get on top of the apron as he slides back inside, which breaks and stops the referee's count. Maddox standing back up, looking like he's limping just a bit, having trouble walking normal on his right foot. Alex stands back up as he tries to strike Maddox, but Maddox is one step ahead as he blocks Alex's strike and connects with a strike of his own. Maddox connects with another jab, follow by a Knife Edge Chop, and finally another jab as Alex finally leans against the ropes. Maddox, still having trouble standing on that right foot, grabs onto Alex's arm and Irish Whip him to the opposite side of the ring. As Alex runs and bounces to the ropes, Maddox jumps in the air and goes for a Dropkick, as Alex runs right into it, but he has countered it. The crowd on their feet shocked as Alex has managed to get a hold of Maddox's right foot and has connected with an Ankle Lock.

Ted Cedar: A Rare move by Alex. We never seen him lock in a submission like that

Joey Miles: I hope he taps out. He can't stand on that foot, so he could tap out. He should just tap out

Alex has the Ankle Lock in on Maddox right in the middle of the ring as Maddox continues to yell in pain as he tries to crawl towards the ropes, as he seems to be getting closer. Alex twisting the ankle of the Titan as he tries to make him tap out in the match, but Maddox continues to fight his way to the ropes. Maddox getting closer and closer as the referee has asked him many times if he wants to tap out, but Maddox keeps yelling no as he tries to get closer to the ropes, and he's only a couple fingertips away. The referee asks Maddox one last time, but Maddox refuses to give up as he gets a hold of the bottom rope, grabbing it as hard as he can. The referee quickly tells Alex that Paine has reached the ropes and it's time for him to let go. Alex is not letting go as the referee starts his count. "One". "Two", Three", and before the referee could get to his fourth count, Alex has let go of the submission hold. Alex backs away from Maddox as he drops to his knees and starts to slam the canvas, setting up to what it seems like his finisher, the HKO. Maddox is using the ropes to help him get back up slowly as he still isn't one hundred percent well on that right foot. Alex continues to slam and scream and yell as Maddox continues to get up using the bottom ropes & the middle ropes. Alex starts to lift himself up off the canvas as he extends his arms up wide with sweat dripping off his face, and saliva coming out of his mouth as Maddox is standing with his back turned. Maddox still showing signs that he can't walk on his right foot, turns around and away from the ropes as he finds Alex jumping and grabbing him by his head, trying to go for the HKO. Maddox, being the warrior that he is, pushes Alex off and away from him as Alex gets pushed into the ropes. As Alex bounces off and returns back to Maddox, Maddox surprises everyone as he takes a risk and jumps in the air to connect with a Standing Spinning Wheel Kick. Maddox's right foot connects against The World Heavyweight Champion's face as both men drop to the mat, but Maddox is the only one that knows where he is. Maddox yelling as he knows he has gained some time to heal, but he has also hurt himself in the process. Maddox grabbing his right foot with his right hand, and using the left hand to crawl near Alex as Maddox gets his left arm across Alex's chest for a cover. The referee slides next to the cover and begins to count. "One"....."Two"...but Alex raises his shoulder off the canvas and breaks the cover. Maddox rolls away from Alex as he uses both of his arms to crawl towards the corner that's right in front of him. Alex still down as the fans cheer and get behind Maddox's side as Maddox reaches the corner and begins to get up. Alex begins to get back up lifting his upper body up and turning on his knees, using his knees to get up. Maddox leaning against the corner as he tries to try to put some weight on his right foot to see if he can walk, and is slightly working Alex begins to get up as he has his back turned on Maddox as Alex turns around and Maddox starts running towards him. Maddox jumps in the air and connects with a Running Flying Clothesline, that sends Alex back to the canvas. Alex falls to the canvas, but rolls over on his stomach to get back up again. Maddox, who is still standing, runs towards Alex once again and connects with a Powerful Shoulder Block taking down the World Heavyweight Champion. Alex rolls over again and gets up, this time he goes for a Clothesline of his own, which Maddox ducks and quickly gets behind Alex as he wraps his arms around his waist to lift him up backwards to connect with a Belly-To-Back Suplex. The fans see Alex's head bouncing off the canvas as Maddox crawls towards his body to turn him over and cover him, and that's what he exactly does. Maddox covers the World Champion as The referee slides next to the cover and goes for the count. "One"...."Two"....but Alex raises his shoulder off the canvas once again to kick out. Maddox is getting a little frustrated, but he gets back up from the mat and gets some breathing time to himself.

Ted Cedar: Maddox showing signs of weakness in his right foot. Alex can easily use that to work on it and make sure Maddox doesn't get back up on his feet again. The Former World Champ has to be careful here. He can easily hurt himself while trying to hurt Alex.

Joey Miles: Piece by Piece, "Mr. Center of Attention" Hitman Alex has been taking The Titan apart and that right foot of Maddox Paine proves it right there.

Maddox returns back to Alex and he bends down to pick him back up. The Titan manages to get Alex standing, as Maddox Irish Whips Alex towards the ropes. Alex bounces off the ropes and as he returns to Alex, The Titan catches him by wrapping his arms around his waist as The Titan lifts him up and sends him over his shoulders connecting with a Belly To Belly Suplex. The crowd cheer and begin to get back on their feet as Maddox turns over and quickly covers the champion. The referee slides next to the cover, and begins to count. "One"....."Two"...but once again Alex kicks out by raising that shoulder off. Maddox picks Alex back up, but as Alex is standing back on his feet he kicks Maddox on the same right foot he's having trouble with, and Maddox quickly dropping to the mat as he holds his foot. Alex drops to one knee, not being able to stand fully up, as he crawls towards the ropes. Alex begins to get up using the ropes as the referee walks to him and checks on him. Maddox knows he has to get back into this match so he stands back up as fast as he can, and sees Alex has his back turned. Maddox quickly walks towards him and wraps his arms around Alex's waist trying to go for a Belly-To-Back Suplex yet again, but Alex lifts his right foot in-between Maddox's legs and connects with a sneaky Low-Blow as Maddox drops against the canvas, holding his groin. The referee didn't see it so therefore he doesn't have a single clue what just happened. The fans in attendance have seen what Alex did and they start to boo him. Alex smiles as the referee looks back towards Maddox and sees him on the ground holding his junk as the referee looks confused. Alex turns around smiling as he looks down at Maddox and starts to yell at him telling him that he doesn't ever deserve a rematch clause. Alex starts to point at himself telling Maddox that he's the best in this whole locker room and that's why he's the World Champion. Alex yells at Maddox telling him to get back up as Maddox is trying to get up. Alex setting up to go for his secondary finisher, The Snake Bite (Rock Bottom). Alex continues to yell at Maddox to get up as Maddox has gotten back to his feet, but he has his back turned on Alex. Alex waits for Maddox to turn around, and he does, as Alex hooks his right arm across Maddox's chest and sets Maddox's right arm over his shoulder as he lifts him off the canvas and connects with the finisher. The crowd are shocked and standing on their feet as Alex quickly hooks the leg and goes for the cover. The referee quickly sees Maddox is completely out and his shoulders are both down so he begins to count as he slides next to the cover. "One".........The crowd booing and looking shocked....."Two".........Alex smiling as he yells out "Three", but surprisingly enough Maddox kicks out before the Referee could make HIS third count. Alex is shocked. Alex is mad as he looks towards the referee and starts to question him. The crowd goes crazy as they cheer and know Maddox is still in the match.

Ted Cedar: Alex with that low blow

Joey Miles: If the referee didn't see it, it doesn't count

Ted Cedar: Maddox kicking out making the Champion mad.

Joey Miles: It's the referee's fault. He took his time to start counting, that's not fair to Alex.

Alex stands back up and walks towards the referee mad as hell as he can't believe Maddox has kicked out of the Snake Bite. The referee tries to explain to The Champion that Maddox has kicked out and that there's nothing the referee can do. Alex is not understanding what the referee is saying, but he sees Maddox trying to get back up so Alex quickly walks towards the ropes as he drops to the canvas and rolls outside under the bottom rope. Alex walks over to the timekeeper and tries to scare him away so he can go get a hold of his World Championship Belt. The Timekeeper quickly moves as Alex grabs the World Title Belt and looks at it as he looks back inside the ring and walks towards the ring. Alex slides back in under the bottom ropes and back inside as he raises the belt right in front of him, waiting for Maddox to stand back up, and turn around. The referee is telling Alex not to use it, but Alex isn't listening. Alex isn't thinking straight right now. If Alex connects with this title shot, he could lose by disqualification. Maddox is on his knees, lifting himself up as The referee quickly manages to steal the title out of Alex's hands. Alex quickly reacts and walks towards the referee and tries to steal it back. The referee showing some type of strength as he is still holding onto the title as Alex is trying to take it away. Maddox finally stands back and turns around as he sees Alex has his back turned. Alex quickly turns around, while holding onto the title, and sees Maddox coming his way. Alex quickly steals the title out of the referee's hands and jumps out the way, as Maddox connects with a Charging Spear on the referee as the referee drops to the canvas. The fans stand up shocked as The Titan misses with the Spear on Alex and accidentally speared the referee. Alex stands back up with the title, as Maddox realizes Alex is still standing. Maddox turns around as Alex runs with the title as he swings it and connects it against Maddox's face. Maddox drops straight to the canvas as the crowd boos and are talking among themselves thinking that this could be it. Alex throws the title outside the ring as he looks behind him and sees that the referee is down. Alex looks back at Maddox who is completely knocked out near the middle of the center of the mat. Alex quickly drops to his knees and crawls towards Maddox as he reaches him and hooks his left leg. The World Heavyweight Champion looks up the entrance ramp as he yells for a referee to come down as everyone awaits for a new referee to come running down the entrance ramp to run back inside the ring and count for The Champ. A referee, by name of Ryu Sanu, comes running down the entrance ramp as fast as he can as he slides under the bottom ropes and inside the ring as he quickly makes the count. "One"......"Two"....."Thr-" and before the referee could make it to the third count, Maddox raises his shoulder off the mat as he has kicked out yet again. The crowd shocked that Maddox kicked out as they all cheer and Alex's mouth opens up as he is shocked himself as well. Alex picks himself up off the mat and he begins to get in the face of the referee Sanu. Alex begins to get in his way and tell him that he took to long, that he should of got that three. The referee trying to explain that he came as fast as they told him to, is not his fault. Meanwhile the referee and The World Champion are arguing, The Titan starts to get back up, but he's feeling weak. Alex pushes the referee, as the fans boo him. Ryu is the type of referee that isn't scared to fight back as he pushes Alex back and tells him that he's the official. Ryu tells Alex if he puts his hands on him again he will disqualified him on the spot. Alex thinks twice about pushing him as he turns around and sees Maddox on his knees trying to get back up. Alex quickly walks over to Maddox as he tries to pick him up, but Maddox , playing possum, quickly grabs Alex by his legs and quickly surprises him as he lifts him up and connects with his signature, a Standing Spinebuster. Alex drops to the canvas as his head bounces off the mat. The Titan drops to the canvas too as he wasted all the energy and strength he had left connecting with that move. The referee has no choice but to start counting since both men are down and out.

Ted Cedar: Maddox connecting with a Spinebuster as it takes all of him to connect with that move.

Joey Miles: Both men are down, and if they both stay down this match could possible end in a draw, thus having Alex retained his championship.

The referee starts to count as he yells out "1", and the fans start to cheer" Let's Go Mad-dox" as they clap five times right after repeatedly. The referee yells out "2" as Maddox has his eyes open as he's on his stomach trying to get up on his knees at least. "3", Alex  still continues to grab his head as Maddox continues to get back up. "4", the Maddox chants start to fade away as the crowd begins counting with the referee. "5", Maddox manages to get on one knee, as Alex is turning onto his stomach and trying to get on his knees to get back up. "6", Maddox using his strength to stand back up on both feet as he looks directly at Alex. Maddox opens both of his arms wide to the side as he stretches his chest and abdomen as he lets out an enormous roar while facing upwards with his eyes closed. The fans cheer as the referee yells out "7", and Alex is on his knees, as he puts one leg out and tries to put his strength on that leg to get back up. The referee's count gets broken as both men are fully back up as Alex manages to stand on both feet again, but still having his back turned. Maddox faces directly forward with his eyes open and arms back down to his sides as Alex turns around and Maddox quickly kicks him in the mid-section as Alex bends down as he grabs his stomach. Maddox grabs him by his head and sets him in-between his legs as Maddox is going for that Titan Bomb. Maddox lifts Alex up as Alex is up in the air, and is about to get slam down, but Alex quickly connects with a thumb to the eye, which makes Maddox drops backwards, as Alex lands on his feet but then falls onto his knees. Maddox grabbing his eyes as he rolls back up, as Alex lifts himself off the canvas. Alex runs towards Maddox, as Maddox has his back turned holding his eye, as Alex quickly drops behind Alex and putting one arm in-between The Titan's legs as he pulls Maddox backwards into a Schoolboy cover. The referee quickly slides next to the cover as the fans stand on their feet and are surprised Alex managed to get out of the Titan Bomb. Alex going for a cover as the referee counts. "One"......"Two"...while the referee is not looking, Alex grabs the tights and uses that to stop Maddox from kicking out as the referee connects with his third count. The fans are shocked as the referee turns to the timekeeper to ring the bell.

Ted Cedar: I think it's over.

Joey Miles: It's over! It's a three!

Ted Cedar: He grabbed the tights! He grabbed the tights!

Joey Miles: Doesn't count if the referee didn't see it, Ted. Alex wins!

DING DING DING

Alex's theme begins to play throughout the arena as Alex quickly rolls away from Maddox and rolls outside the ring. Maddox rolls up and stands on his knees as he looks in front of him and sees Alex walking backwards up the entrance ramp as he is declared the winner by pinfall. The referee comes around the ring with the title belt as he hands it over to Alex. The fans are booing the hell out of Alex as Maddox looks disappointed looking up the ramp towards Alex. Alex raises his title as he continues to walk up the entrance ramp, reaching the middle. Out of nowhere, Alex's theme fades away and another familiar theme begins to play.

Riley Williamson comes through the black curtains as he comes with the hardcore title and tag title around his waist. The fans cheer as Alex turns around with an angry look on his face as he sees Riley interrupting his victory celebration. The fans are cheering going nuts as Riley unwraps his Hardcore Title and his Tag Title belts off from around his waist and takes them off as he sets them aside at the top of the entrance ramp. Riley's theme fades away as Riley starts walking down the ramp towards Alex. The fans cheering for Riley as Alex runs towards Riley and tries to swing the title towards his face, but Riley ducks out the way and gets behind Alex. Alex turns around and Riley quickly connects with a Superkick, knocking down the World Champ onto the entrance steel ramp. The fans go nuts as he bends down to pick Alex back up and he walks down the remaining half of the entrance ramp as he throws Alex back inside the ring. Maddox stands back up from being on his knees as he sees Riley throwing Alex back inside the ring. Maddox bends down to pick Alex back up as he sets him right in-between his legs. Riley walks backwards up the entrance ramp as he stops right where Alex has dropped the World Title Belt. Maddox picks Alex up into the air as he slams down connecting with a Titan Bomb right in the middle of the ring. The fans go nuts as Maddox's theme begins to play to end the show as The camera shows Maddox standing over Hitman Alex, while Riley is holding the World Title in his hands looking at it. The cameras go back to Maddox looking up the entrance ramp towards Riley holding the title and looking at it, as another camera gets a good shot of Hitman Alex knocked out in the middle of the ring due to Riley's Superkick and Maddox's Titan Bomb. The XWA Logo appears in the bottom left of the big titantron as well as the television of the fans watching at home as Vendetta 80 comes to an end.

Joey Miles: Riley has no place being out here

Ted Cedar: He's the Number One Contender for that World Title

Joey Miles: That's not till the Pay-Per-View, tonight is all about Alex's victory and he interrupts him, that's fuckin' rude, Ted.

Ted Cedar: Thanks for joining us, we had a great show, see you guys next week. Good night

Joey Miles: Riley should mind his damn business and stay away from Alex's spotlight.
