M7 | The Pirate vs. Cerberus Empty
PostSubject: Re: M7 | The Pirate vs. Cerberus   M7 | The Pirate vs. Cerberus EmptySat May 31, 2014 5:21 pm

(I didn't want to write this week. Video games happened. This was written really quickly and turned out awful. Sorry I guess?)

"Well...I dont like Pirate's chances too well here..."

"Never bet on the Butt Pirate. That should be a rule."

Cerberus enters the ring and starts toward Pirate, who quickly scrambles back to his feet. Pirate tries to mount some sort of offense, giving some punches that appear to have no effect, but Cerberus quickly gains the upper hand with a huge clothesline. Pirate pops back up to his feet, but eats a hard jab to the throat, then gets picked up and Powerslammed to the mat. Cerberus starts to stomp away at him, as Pirate tries to roll into the corner. The referee tries to intervene, but Cerberus won't be stopped. In one fluid motion, he grabs the official by the collar and dumps him over the top rope, then goes right to punching the now seated Pirate in the forehead. After several hard shots, he pulls the smaller man out of the corner and wraps his hand around Pirate's throat. He picks him up, and plants him down hard on the canvas with his Hellfire Chokeslam. With no referee now, there's really no point in a cover. However, Cerberus turns around to see none other than Carnage from D-Volution standing in the entranceway, obviously wanting to continue their fight from earlier in the show. Eager to settle the score, Cerberus rolls out of the ring and walks up the ramp to meet him. They begin exchanging punches, neither man giving ground, the fans clearly in support of Carnage. Pirate lays limp in the middle of the ring as Cerberus starts to gain the upper hand. Suddenly out of nowhere, Carnage starts to hoist Cerberus into the air, but the Hound of Hell won't have any of it, and starts wriggling away. This causes Carnage to lose his balance, and he falls flat on the steel grating, the weight of Cerberus only heightening the impact.

"It's just chaos out here!"

"We need some fucking order!"

After Cerberus slowly picks himself up, he goes for Carnage and tries to set him up for a Hellfire onto the steel. However, Pirate had recovered by this time, and clips him with a Chop Block in the back of the knee. Cerberus buckles and releases his grip, allowing Carnage to grasp his own hand around the neck of the monster. Carnage gives Cerberus sort of an STO, and then rests on the guardrail as Pirate drags Cerberus back toward the ring. As Pirate tried to get Cerberus back in the ring, the big man elbows him in the face and slams his head into the side of the ring. Now back in control, Cerberus gets himself and Pirate back in the ring and stands up. After pulling Pirate to his feet, he Irish Whips his opponent across the ring and picks him up, nailing Pirate with a Sidewalk Slam. A second referee runs out from the back, past Carnage and down the ramp. He slides into the ring and counts the pin.............1...2...Pirate kicks out. Cerberus gingerly gets back up and Irish Whips Pirate across the ring again...but Pirate leaps up onto the middle rope and nails him with a Springboard Elbow Smash. Cerberus doesn't go down, so Pirate goes for a Shoulder Block...ducks a clothesline from Cerberus and hits him on the way back. Cerberus takes a step back, but doesn't go down. Pirate tries a Dropkick...still no, but Cerberus is wobbly. Pirate rolls out to the outside and pulls himself up with the top rope...Springboard Flying Clothesline...Cerberus goes down! Pirate slowly climbs up the ropes in the corner and comes off with a huge Moonsault. He stays on for the cover...1...2...but Cerberus powers out.

"I'm honestly surprised Pirate got a 2-count on Cerberus."

"But considering Cerberus's track record, it might be the last two count he'll ever get..."

Both Pirate and Cerberus start to slowly get up. Pirate grabs his opponent and starts to lift him up, but Cerberus won't go, and instead picks Pirate up around the waist and tosses him forward. As Pirate holds his ribs, Cerberus picks him up and gives him a vicious Powerbomb. Cover...1...2.....Carnage gets on the apron and starts distracting the ref. The official gets up and starts chewing him out instead of counting the pin, and Cerberus is furious. He walks over toward Carnage, who immediately steps down and backs off. Cerberus goes back to Pirate and tries to pin him again...1...2...Carnage puts Pirate's foot on the rope! The referee tries to get Carnage to leave, but Cerberus has other plans. He picks Pirate up, gives him a Military Press, and tosses him out of the ring right at Carnage. However, the 7 foot giant just catches him and calmly rolls him back into the ring. However, the calmness ends there, as he gets up onto the apron and starts yelling at Cerberus. Cerberus stands toe to toe with him, motionless, not speaking, just angrily seething and staring at him. Meanwhile, Pirate starts slowly getting up in the corner, and the referee tries, futilely, to separate the two large men. Carnage, realizing he's not going to get Cerberus to talk, laughs to himself and starts to lean back, holding the top rope. Suddenly, he spits at him; he hawks a loogie right onto Cerberus's mask. A hush goes over the crowd. Cerberus twitches....twice...as Carnage smirks...WHAM. In the blink of an eye, Cerberus clobbers Carnage in the jaw, knocking him completely unconscious instantly. The 7 foot giant falls like a redwood, crashing to the concrete below as Cerberus stands, seething, and wipes his mask off. All of a sudden, Pirate runs over, jumps onto the middle rope, and dives back behind Cerberus, grabbing him and falling forward into a Sunset Flip. He catches Cerberus completely by surprise, and keeps both shoulders pinned to the mat for the cover...1...2...3!

M7 | The Pirate vs. Cerberus Empty
PostSubject: Re: M7 | The Pirate vs. Cerberus   M7 | The Pirate vs. Cerberus EmptySat May 31, 2014 7:37 pm

DING DING DING!

The bell rings, and not a moment too soon for Cerberus, who closes in on The Pirate with a purpose. The swashbuckling brawler carefully watches Cerberus' moves, using his experience as his greatest asset against this unstable beast. He waits until the monster is reaching out to grab him before ducking his arm and getting himself out of the corner. The Hound of Hell spins around to fix his eyes on The Pirate again, and sees him carefully keeping his eyes on his opponent. The rage keeps bubbling over inside the body of the masked wrestler, as he makes his way to The Pirate again, a little more spritely than before. The Pirate leaves it until the very last second, before rolling to the side of Cerberus, causing him to stop himself in a half-stumble. He tries to reach over to The Pirate, but only finds air, as his smaller but more agile opponent avoids his grasp yet again. Furious, Cerberus spins on his heels and swings a hard right hand towards The Pirate, but doesn't manage to connect, his opponent ducking him yet again. Cerberus tries again, this time with his left hand, swinging it hard towards the head of the Captain, and again finding only air. The Hound, out of desperate anger, flings his boot up towards The Pirate, only to have his boot parried away, causing him to plant it on the mat again, almost losing his balance. He swings his arms to keep himself up, and turns back to face Bartholomew, but instead finds a boot in to his midsection as The Pirate catches him with a spinning back kick to the ribs. The monster hardly feels the blow, but the strike affords Bloom another chance to strike Cerberus in the knee with another kick, trying to knock the monster off his feet. Cerberus lifts his foot in pain from the sharp strike, and doesn't have chance to protect himself from another kick to the same area. He lets out a couple of grunts from the two strikes, but still manages to refocus himself on The Pirate. He attempts to close the distance on Bloom, this time with an uppercut to the jaw, but is expertly blocked by a spinning parry from the seasoned veteran. The Pirate pulls Cerberus' arm to the mat, which causes the monster to bend over, facing the mat. Bloom then quickly wrings The Hound of Hell's arm and pulls him to his feet and towards him and hits a hard short-armed clothesline, pounding the Minster's chest.

|Cedar| “Bloom is doing a great job of making sure Cerberus is always on the back foot. That's a great way to swing that rage that he has in his favour. Cerberus has been on a rampage ever since that no-good dirty bastard Robert Hope was given a nice big dose of comeuppance by David Michaels.”

|Miles| “Come on Cedar. You're not still sore about Hope calling you to his court, are you? Sometimes you can be so damn touchy.”

|Cedar| “Hey, when you get dragged over this desk by that monster, we'll talk about who is being touchy.”

Unfortunately for The Pirate, Cerberus absorbs most of the blow from the strike and stares down Bloom. The Captain freezes in place, locked in the glare of his masked opponent, and only just ducks under a clothesline of the monster. Feeling the adrenaline coursing through his body, Bloom takes advantage of his opponent's position by planting a foot on his hip and bringing his other leg up for an impressive enzuigiri, rocking the monster on his feet. The crowd are firmly behind The Pirate, who uses the burst of adrenaline from their cheers to run to the ropes. He rebounds off them swiftly, eyeing his opponent, who has only just recovered from the kick to the face. He is just in time to see Captain Bloom charging at him with running forearm right to the chest. This blow rocks Cerberus yet again, but still doesn't bring him down. The veteran doesn't take any changes, though. He runs to the ropes yet again, honing in on his larger opponent. This time, though, he is met with a big boot which almost decapitates him and sends him crashing to the mat. His head smashes back in to the mat, and he instantly clutches it as he lands, the warm tingle of pain from the impact slowly spreading across the back of his head and neck. Cerberus grunts in anger, briefly holding his face from the impact of Bloom charging at him. He reaches down to his opponent, who is looking a little bit shell-shocked, then violently pulls him to his feet by his hair. Bloom is too preoccupied trying to regain his bearings to see the big uppercut to the jaw that sends him in to the corner of the ring.

|Cedar| “Good grief, what a big boot! That almost caved Bloom's skull in!”

|Miles| “I wonder if that fixed him. Hahaha.”

|Cedar| “Ugh...”

Bloom groggily puts his hands up to his face in a half daze, party to hold his jaw and partly to protect his head from any more big hits from the beast in the red and black. Cerberus begins to throw hard right hands to the body and chest area of The Pirate, beating him in to the corner. The referee quickly steps in to admonish the massive Cerberus, but only gets an intimidating glare, which causes him to flee away from the Hound of Hell. Cerberus then returns to Bloom, who is now seated in the corner, and grabs him under the armpit with one hand, then by the back of the head with the other. He drags The Pirate to his feet, and in one motion, tosses him almost in to the centre of the ring with a hip toss type move. Bartholomew Bloom lands with a crash in to the mat, causing him to arch his back and stomp his foot on the mat in reaction to the quick jolt of pain. Bloom releases a low, deep groan with what little breath he has left in his lungs after that impact. He lays on the mat holding his back for a moment, when suddenly, he sees Cerberus looming over him again. Bloom tries to get away from the monster, but doesn't manage to escape the two hands around his neck from Cerberus, who then lifts him up to his feet directly from the mat! The Pirate struggles against the grip of the Hound, but can't get free in time to avoid being thrown in to the corner again, landing back first in to the turnbuckles. His spine hits the top buckle first, and he only just manages to keep himself from spilling over the top rope to the floor outside, which means he can't protect himself from the incoming running clothesline, which flattens him in to the corner again. The crowd almost feel that impact, and let out an audible “ooh!” as Bloom stumbles out holding his chest.

|Cedar| “Oh my goodness, that's enough impact to cave any man's chest in. The Pirate is in a bad way here, he needs to stop Cerberus' momentum, or this might end in a trip to the hospital.”

|Miles| “Kill him some more, big red!”

As Bloom stumbles out of the corner, dazed and wheezing from the colossal blow he's just taken, Cerberus scoops him up under his arm. The Hound of Hades walks a few steps with Bloom under his arm in a scoop slam position, before dropping him over his knee in a pendulum backbreaker, driving the bony joint right in to The Pirate's spine, with little to no protection being offered from the kneepad under Cerberus' tights. The monster doesn't stop there, though. He returns to his feet, keeping hold of Bloom, then spinning him up on to his shoulder in an Oklahoma slam position. Cerberus then sprints over to one of the corners and drops The Pirate face first in to the turnbuckle, snapping his head back violently. This causes Bloom to stagger back from the corner, almost certainly out on his feet. Cerberus follows up by rebounding off the nearby ropes and setting his sights on his opponent, then leaping off his feet and levelling him with a flying lariat. Captain Bloom is almost turned inside out from the impact, landing on his shoulders and flopping back on to his belly, then settling there.

|Miles| “WOW! Cerberus almost turned the Captain in to a quartermaster. Get it? Because he almost broke him in to little pieces. Haha!”

|Cedar| “Will you stop?”

The monster holds the ropes and uses them to help him return to his feet, as the crowd boo him, clearly not loving the fact that he's brutalising one of their favourites. The boos quickly turn to chants for The Pirate, urging him to get back on to his feet. It seems to work...a little. The Pirate slowly pushes himself off the mat as Cerberus measures him up carefully. The Hound of Hell slowly makes his way to the feet of Bloom, then bends down to grab an ankle. Bloom snaps in to life again, instinctively pulling his leg away from the hands of his opponent, but doesn't manage to break free. Still fuzzy from the lariat, Bloom can't quite manage to coordinate himself enough to kick himself free, instead being pulled up to his feet by his wrestling attire. The Pirate shakes his head as he tries to regain his composure, but has to stop to hold his neck from the brutal lariat from earlier. Cerberus spins him around to face him, and clubs him with a hard punch to the face, almost dropping The Pirate to his back. Bloom drops to a knee and tries his best to crawl to some form of relative safety from The Hound of Hell, but Cerberus' massive reach proves to be just too much for him. Cerberus once again grabs a handful of his hair and hoists him to his feet. This time, though, The Pirate plants a solid right hand strike in to the gut of the monster. After the spear from earlier in the night, Cerberus has got to be hurting at least a little. Bloom knows this, and he sees his opportunity. Cerberus recoils from the strike, subconsciously trying to protect his ribs and midsection after the devastating Spear that Carnage levelled him with. Bloom doesn't give up his attack, this time swinging a left in to the otherwise exposed midsection of his aggressor. Captain Bloom then begins to throw hard left and right hands, trying his best to back the monster off and away from him, and he manages to do just that! Cerberus decides discretion is the best form of valour, and palms Bloom away from him while he retreats to hold his ribs. This momentary break allows Bloom to shake off the haze in his head and run full-force in to the back of Cerberus with a Cross Body Block, knocking the monster in to the ropes and allowing Bloom to mount some offence as the crowd begin to really get behind him.

|Cedar| “That's it! That's more like it! Get on him, Captain!”

|Miles| “Oh brother, you're like a child. You see your favourite star get a little glimmer of hope, and you proceed to leave puddles under the table here. I don't want to guess what those puddles are...”

Chants of “PI-RATE! PI-RATE!” begin to ring around the arena, as the crowd swells in support of their favourite buccaneer. The Captain responds in kind by taking advantage of the monster, who is now in the ropes, trying to recover from the hard blow to his back. Bloom doesn't give in, though. He starts to kick away at the back of Cerberus' knees, desperately trying to cut down the big man. He delivers kick after kick after kick, which leave the monster no option but to fall to a knee. The referee is strangely hesitant to start counting to 5, but catches himself before he gets too engrossed in the idea of The Pirate beating down Cerberus. Bloom acknowledges the 5 count and breaks off early, showing his respect for the official. The referee leans in to check on Cerberus, but only receives a palm to the chest, almost pushing him out of his shoes. Bloom comes in for the kill again, this time running in and hitting a shoulder block to the base of the spine of the beast, who lets out a loud, anguished yell. The Captain carefully watches Cerberus as he tries to shake off the pain in his back and get to his feet. Just as the monster returns to his feet, he sees Bloom run to the ropes he is facing and springboard off them and hit a beautiful clothesline, which staggers the monster back a few paces, and causes him to hold his chest in pain. But he still remains on his feet. Bloom rushes to the ropes yet again, this time springboarding off them with a back elbow, catching the Hound square in the chest again, resulting in another pained yell from his larger opponent, who is somehow still on his feet. The crowd begin to chant and cheer even more enthusiastically, feeling as though Bloom has almost knocked the massive man down to size. The Pirate quickly launches himself to the ropes behind Cerberus, rebounding off them, then over to the opposite ropes, rebounding off them too. He repeats this process again, gaining more and more speed, until when returning from the ropes in front of Cerberus, he changes his course slightly towards the monster and launches himself at him with a big spinning lariat, which finally manages to drop the big man off his feet! The crowd explode, and Bloom can't quite seem to believe it himself. Even though Bloom himself is not a small man, the tower of power that is Cerberus took that much abuse to get him off his feet. Bloom quickly shakes himself back in to life and quickly covers the Hound of Hell!

|Cedar| “WHAT A MOVE FROM THE PIRATE! He finally knocked the monster down! Here's the cover.”

1!

Cerberus pushes The Pirate up and off him in a show of inhuman strength. The Pirate quickly gets to his knees and shuffles over to the side of his downed opponent, perhaps looking for a submission move before...

|Cedar| “Oh my goodness!”

Cerberus bolts straight upright, his soulless eyes glaring in to Bloom's. The Captain freezes for a moment, but knows that he can't afford to allow himself to be put off his game plan. He hops up to his feet and connects with a hard kick to the chest of Cerberus, knocking him down to the mat again. This, too, is short lived however. The monster again just sits upright. And again, Bloom snaps off another hard kick to the chest, this one sounding off like a gunshot and prompting Cerberus to howl in pain as he drops to the mat. Once again, though, Cerberus sits up. The third attempt from Bloom is not as successful, as Cerberus grabs his boot and throws it away, causing Bloom to pivot on his free foot. The Pirate turns through 360 degrees, and manages to return with a low kick to the back of the head of the seated Cerberus, the impact swift and sickening, and causing the crowd to explode again. Cerberus' head swings forward, and he puts his arms up to cover the base of his skull, where the Captain caught him. He grunts in pain after the hard shot and falls to his side. The monster rolls on to his stomach, holding the back of his head with one hand and using the other to push himself off the mat, still in a fair bit of pain. The Pirate then follows up on his attack while his opponent is on his hand and knees by dropping a legdrop on the back of the neck and head, dropping him to the mat.

|Cedar| “The Pirate is now in control of this match. Let's see if he can put this demon away and put us all at rest.”

|Miles| “Put us all at rest? Like, in the dead sense? Because that might just be the outcome if Cerberus loses. Hell, even if he wins...”

Bloom quickly pushes Cerberus on to his back for another cover attempr.

1!

2!

Cerberus kicks out.!

The crowd react with a loud “TWOOOO!” after that near-fall, but Bloom wishes that it had been 3 so he could put the monster away for the night. Nevertheless, The Pirate continues on with his mountainous task of putting the masked bruiser away, and so far, he has done a good job of putting the groundwork in. The Pirate grabs the hair of his larger opponent, and looks to be aiming to end this match, having worn down Cerberus' head and back. He lifts him up to his feet, struggling with the sheer mass of the monster, and eventually manages to push him up against the ropes, before calling out for his finisher, The Tidal Wave. Bloom chops Cerberus' chest twice with hard knife edge chops, trying to keep him sedated with pain somewhat. Bloom then grabs Cerberus by the arm and attempts to whip him across the ring to the other side. Cerberus has other ideas, though. He reverses the whip and sends Bloom in to the ropes instead, and gets ready to catch him on the return. Just as Cerberus attempts to scoop Bloom up in to a powerslam, The Pirate slides between his legs and in one swift motion, returns to his feet and attempts to hook Cerberus' arms behind his head. The massive shoulders of the Hound and height difference between the two men provides some difficulty to Bloom, but he continues to try anyway. Suddenly, though, Cerberus breaks free from his grip, turns around and blasts The Pirate with a brutal clothesline, flattening Captain Bloom with great aggression. The Pirate falls to the floor in a heap, holding his neck and chest from the sheer brutality of the move.

|Miles| “OK, now he's dead.”

Cerberus releases a primal roar of pain and frustration, then aggressively grabs Bloom and pulls him back to his feet. The Pirate is dazed from the shot, so is completely defenceless against a second clothesline, more brutal than the last. Then a third, as Cerberus hoists his body up again and flattens it with a tree-trunk-like arm. The Hound of Hell then drops to his knees and forces his hands in to the throat of The Pirate, choking him in an uncomfortable manner. The referee is immediately on Cerberus' case to get him to break the hold, but Cerberus won't listen. He just keeps throttling the swashbuckling superstar like he's a ragdoll. The referee begins to count for Cerberus to break the hold, but it proves to be of little use, as Cerberus let's go just as he begins. Instead, Cerberus drags The Pirate up to his feet again and then throws him back down by his head, causing it to crash in to the mat with force. The monster doesn't loom like he's quite content yet, though, as he drops to the mat and unleashes blow after blow to the face of Bloom in a sickening display. Bloom tries to cover himself up, still in pain from his face being driven in to the mat, but Cerberus simply attacks any area that he can reach. Clubbing blows raining down on The Pirate's head and chest, then eventually shoulders and back as he turns on to his stomach. From there, Cerberus hooks his fingers in to the mouth of The Pirate and pulls his skull back in an unnatural angle, causing him to scream out in pain as the beast almost wrenches his head off his shoulders. The referee begins to tell Cerberus to lighten up on the hold somewhat, but he starts to notice that Cerberus is just sitting back further and further, which prompts the referee to step in and demand that Cerberus releases the hold. He frantically starts to count, fearing for The Pirate's safety, when (almost to his horror) Cerberus lets go of the hold, letting Bloom's head drop.

|Cedar| “This isn't good. This isn't good at all. Someone needs to get down here and stop this before Bloom gets seriously hurt. I get that he's unstable, but he could seriously hurt The Pirate here!”

Just as Cedar finishes saying that, Cerberus picks Bloom up by the hair once again, and wraps his gloved hand around his throat. He pulls Bloom's semi-conscious body close to him, glaring in to his eyes briefly, before hoisting him up and slamming him down aggressively with the Hellfire Chokeslam, which almost rattles the ring to pieces. Bloom lands in a pile of humanity on the mat, as the crowd begin to boo loudly at the showing from Cerberus. The Hound of Hell grunts with rage, looking upon the body of Bloom. He tilts his head to the side slowly, contemplating what to do next. The brave and valiant Pirate is almost unconscious from the brutalising that he received, and although he was on course to perhaps win this match, he most certainly looks worse for wear. The monster reaches down again to grasp the throat of The Pirate and pull him up again. Bloom's arms dangle at his side, and in an act of unrelenting anger, Cerberus lifts his opponent once more and slams him again, almost driving his body through the ring. The Hound of Hell then finally drops to his knees and covers Bloom.

1!

2!

3!

DING DING DING!

The monster returns to his feet as the bell rings and the crowd flood him with boos. The unhinged rage of the Hound of Hell proving to be too much in the long run for The Pirate, who had the unenviable task of facing off with this brute tonight. Cerberus glances around the arena with those cold eyes, watching the faces of the people who are now relentlessly booing him. He sands there, stoic and emotionless amongst the wreckage that he has strewn. He might have been without Hope tonight, but the monster has shown that he's not as reliant on him as people would be led to believe.

The ending isn't that great, I know. I kind of ran out of fuel at the end.
