Joey Miles: “Time for the losing streak to continue for C5 Ion as he is about to get his ass mauled in that ring.”

Ted Cedar: “It does indeed look not good for Ion at the onset of this match, he hasn’t won a single match since Vendetta 75 when he managed to defeat Johnny Devine. Luck has not been at his side, most recently at United Xtreme when he cashed in his briefcase for an Intercontinental Championship shot to only come up short in the triple threat bout.”

As the bell tolls Ion springs into action hoping to make this a quick match knowing the longer it goes is less likely he has a realistic chance at obtaining a victory. Ion runs directly past Anvil and under his outstretched arms to the corner behind him to use it as a springboard hoping to make this high paced and keep the giant guessing. Leaping off the ropes Ion twists in the air and extends his arm as far as possible delivering a leaping clothesline to Anvil as he is turning around which sends Axel reeling and stumbling to his side. Completely off balance Axel isn’t prepared as Ion keeps momentum flowing on his side whilst leaping into the air and executing a picture perfect dropkick into Anvil’s side. This actually sends Axel stumbling sideways and hje has to grab onto the ropes from the early onslaught to steady himself. Ion looks to capitalize upon this as he charges towards the nearby corner where Anvil is situated and leaps onto the ropes for some form of springboard assault that backfires on him. Alas for Ion his plans don’t work out as Anvil just steps forward into him shoulder into chest with a shoulder block sending Ion crashing to the canvas. Rolling away Ion gets back up, only to have Anvil ferociously extend his arm during an Irish whip into the corner with extra force. Ion almost goes cascading over the ropes to the outside before settling back into the ring, ducking and rolling out of the corner avoiding instant trouble as Anvil crash lands in the corner with an avalanche splash!

Ted Cedar: “Talk about avoiding issues by the skin of your teeth. Had Ion sprung into action a second later he surely would have been squashed in the corner.”

Joey Miles: “Why the fuck did he have to move and continue this shit?”

A crash landing of three hundred fifty pounds onto the ropes as Ion dashes at the far ropes before sprinting back and executing a low dropkick to the rear of Anvil’s knee taking him down to a kneeled base whilst he was reversing. Rolling to his feet behind Anvil, Ion takes the shortened stature and leaps onto the back of Axel, doing his best to wrap his arms around the enormous neck in a sleeper hold! The hold is applied successfully and Axel is seen staggering as he is already partially parallel to the canvas, However for Ion, Anvil manages to fight through the shortness of breath, using the ropes nearby to assist his ascent to a vertical base again. The Sovereign feels behind him until coming into contact with Ion’s hair and uses it as a basis as he spins around to propel him forward with a snapmare onto the canvas, causing Ion to suffer whiplash as his head and neck bounce off the mat. Anvil extends a closed fist into the air showcasing his feeling of dominance before picking Ion up by his locks of hair. Axel sends Ion running to the ropes only to have Ion duck the clothesline attempt upon his return trip and speed towards the other side of the ring. Axel turns around as quick as possible, but Ion keeps evading the giant like the black plague. After three successful evasions Axel is wiser, but fails to expect Ion dropping into a baseball slide through his legs instead. Rolling back to his feet Ion bounces off the ropes once more while Axel is bewildered, only to turn around and have Ion leap into the air using his massive frame as a step ladder to crack his boot against Anvil’s cranium with an enziguiri!

Ted Cedar: “At the rate this is going Ion really seems like he has a plausible chance to end his losing streak and right his wronged ships direction.”

Joey Miles: “Please don’t compare this shitbag to the already horrible Pirate. All you need to know is speed may have an advantage, but once speed withers down power will always finish it off.”

Ion raises to his feet and sees a completely incoherent Anvil, charging at the ropes for an extra burst of speed on recoil and leaping into the air for a discus elbow smash into Axel, only to have the mammoth recover as he leaps into the rotation. Using Ion’s momentum against him Axel catches him with one arm and spins counterclockwise and kneeling on the canvas to plant the Indiana native across his leg with a spinning backbreaker! Ion rolls off of Anvil’s tree trunk limb to the canvas, rolling towards the ropes in hopes of a breather. The Australian reaches for his own skull in both hands exuding force in both directions cracking the ligaments to loosen it up after being rattled recently.

Joey Miles: “The simple fact such a kick would obliterate most people giving them a possible mild concussion and this big fucker just eventually cracks his neck and seemingly looks fine would scare the shit out of me if I was Ion.”

Ted Cedar: “I can’t deny that Joey, Ion is giving a valiant effort but I don’t know if it will be enough.”

Anvil walks over to The Creator of The Matrix placing both feet on his chest cavity hoping to cave it in! The taller member of Dark Atlas uses the ropes for leverage awaiting the referees scornful count of four before hopping off to avoid disqualification. Anvil drops to his knees and blocks the exterior arm of Ion as he covers him the first time in this match. [ONE! TWO! THR-NO!] Ion manages to kick out much to the adoration of the fans in attendance, infuriating the giant who wishes this to be ended. Axel drags Ion off the canvas as he raises from the mat, chucking him into the nearest corner. Slumping against the coiled wires the Indiana native can only watch as Axel nears him, placing one skillet like hand against his collar bone to hold him steady. Axel the raises his other hand smashing it on the barren wasteland of a chest on Ion, the sound resonation throughout the arena causing fans to cringe alongside the smaller man. The Daredevil proceeds to repeat the process twice more against the skin of Ion that the blood vessels are overly agitated leaving a clear replica of Anvil’s hand along the landscape of his chest! When Axel releases the hand holding Ion, the younger star wades out three steps before face planting on the canvas in obvious agony!

Joey Miles: “A fucking replica of his hand, Ion didn’t just get hit, he pretty much got a brand new tattoo on his skin!”

Ted Cedar: “Just from sound alone that was cringe worthy, sounding like a frying pan connecting against bare flesh and bone.”

A fighting spirit keeps the warrior pursuing a chance to redeem himself as Ion slowly scrapes himself off the canvas. Anvil assists him to his feet before sending him like a bullet across the ring and into the ropes, catching him on the rebound and chucking him into the air for his Feuer Frei sky high powerbomb. Ion flies into the air but foils everything as he extends both legs out wrapping them around Anvils skull and attempting a hurricanrana, at least sending the big man stumbling towards the ropes. As Axel spins around he does so in the direction opposite his challenger and misses him charging by, leaping onto the middle rope as a launching pad into the air again. Ion then whirls around Anvil with a spinning head scissors keeping the giant off balance before finally clutching his head and falling onto the canvas with a tornado DDT planting the giant! Struggling to shoot the half, ion finally pushes Anvil over into a supine position to cover him. [ONE! TWO!] Before Ryu Sanu can count three, Anvil forces Ion off him. The smaller man manages to contort himself to land on both feet after the kickout. Anvil sitting up, the Indiana native channels the support from the fans as he unleashes stiff kicks into Anvil’s spine and arm to weaken one side of him. He then leaps into the air and goes for a spinning wheel kick to Axel’s face to end the combination, only to have the Manifestation of Genocide catch his extended limb! The kick stopped, Ion hobbles on one leg as Axel slowly assists himself off the canvas, before ion twirls himself around with a dragon screw to Anvil’s face sending him crashing back down! Ion scurries over going for the cover once again! [ONE! TWO!] KICKOUT!

Ted Cedar: “Listen to the disappointment in these fans as they thought Ion had it right here!”

Adrenaline courses throughout Ion’s veins as he rolls under the ropes before using them to assist his ascent to a precarious perch atop the ropes. Looking down upon Anvil, ION carefully balances before pushing forward with over a full rotation for a 450 splash that connects! It doesn’t connect to his opponent however as Ion devours canvas face first when Axel manages to sit up avoiding what would have clearly finished the contest.

Ted Cedar: “And just like that Ion might have lost everything he had worked up as of recent. That is what you get going up to the high risk district. Either you get a great reward or you are severely punished.”

Joey Miles: “Ion took the risk and got fucked six ways to Sunday. Time to see him lose his shit now once again.”

Anvil stands up and peels Ion off the canvas like a fly off sticky paper while he ragdolls seemingly knocked out. Anvil wraps his arms around Ions and laces his fingers behind the smaller mans head in a full nelson lock before jerking him into the air, the pain clearly awakening Ion from his slumber! Screams emit from the smaller man as he is waved from side to side, able to actually stretch one of his legs and catch the middle rope, Anvil forced to release the hold after a solid three count. Instead of seeing him down, Anvil just drops Ion who collides the back of his skull against the ground. Bouncing off the nearby ropes, Axel slowly walks back towards Ion and leaps into the air hoping to crush his larynx with a leg drop! Shifting his body Ion scurries to safety, whilst Anvil has no human underneath him. Climbing up with the ropes assistance, Ion feeds off the crowd to fuel him as he leaps into the air at a rising Anvil. Much to Ions demise however Axel is alert enough to catch him in mid air and use the Indiana natives momentum against him drilling him into the canvas with a spinning spinebuster!

Ted Cedar: “Just when you thought Ion might have a chance to get back in the game, Axel takes him and shuts it down.”

Joey Miles: “Well, I think this shit is over anyways, Axel doesn’t yell like that unless he is fed up with continuing.”

Joey is correct as when Axel stands up he emits a low guttural roar that is synonymous with his finisher, stalking Ion as he gets up. The fans are chanting for Ion to watch out behind him but the young high flyer doesn’t heed their advice to turn around and be scooped up onto the giant shoulders. Turning towards the center of the ring Anvil then drops Ion head first onto the canvas with a Darkness Drop that he patented from a Death Valley Driver. Hooking the legs after that Sanu drops to the canvas and it is a mathematical three count to end this bout and continue Ion’s now even greater losing streak.

Ted Cedar:
And let's not forget about another big match that is going to tell us just who is going to become the World Heavyweight champion or it will show the current champ retain.

Joey Miles:
Maddox Paine and Hitman Alex are going to battle it out in a match of a lifetime for our Main Event!

Ted Cedar:
I can't blame Hitman Alex for this at all. And neither should any of you if you were the World
Heavyweight Champion walking around the XWA, only to see Maddox Paine try to take it away from you, you would do something to.

As the match gets started, both men start circling the ring as the crowd starts to clap to get the momentum going. Ion looks over the ring as he sees the rest of 'Dark Atlas'. Ion has his right forearm wrapped as both men lockup and Anvil Anvil sends Ion into the corner and he connects with a shoulder thrust, knocking the wind out of Ion as Ion drops to the mat, having trouble to breath off the first attack. Ion with a knee and punches. Ion with a drop kick but he misses a splash into the corner. Anvil with a clothesline to the back of the head. Ion with a kick and drop kick that sends Anvil through the ropes and
to the floor. Ion teases a suicide dive but Anvil moves out of the way, so Ion bounces off with a back spring off the ropes, hitting a no handed back flip, landing on his feet. Anvil looks at the crowd, taunting them with his fist, while Ion goes for a baseball slide but Anvil pulls up the ring skirt and Ion slides straight into a hole as Anvil starts unloading punches on Ion. Anvil hangs Ion over the apron and he kicks Ion in the head and Ion falls to the floor. Anvil sends Ion back into the ring and he connects with a forearm across the throat while hanging over the apron. Ion with punches but Anvil with a shoulder and a neck breaker. Anvil pulls Ion from the ropes and Ion lands on his back. Anvil throws Ion to the floor and Anvil follows. Anvil Irish whips Ion into
the ring steps. Anvil sends Ion back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Anvil with a rear chin lock. Ion gets to his feet and he punches Ion but Ion is sent to the mat and Anvil returns to the reverse chin lock. Anvil sends Ion into the turnbuckles. Anvil with kicks to Ion’s injured arm and then he wraps the arm in the ropes. Anvil with a hard Irish whip and then he hits a suplex. Anvil tries to go for a pin attempt, but Ion rolls away from Anvil to the corner. Anvil pulls Ion out of the corner with a pull, but Ion flips backwards and lands on his feet. Anvil goes for a splash, buy Ion rolls by Anvil and Anvil goes into the turnbuckle. Ion comes back with a running forearm into the corner and then he hits a second one. Ion punches Anvil in the corner and he follows with kicks. Ion tries for a neck breaker but Anvil avoids it. Ion with a wraparound clothesline and then he hits a back heel kick. Anvil tries for a belly-to-back suplex but Ion rolls through in a full rotation, landing on his feet. Ion with a forearm and then Ion is sent to the apron. Ion goes with an enzuigiri that staggers Anvil. Ion for a springboard move, but Anvil moves which sees Ion jumping over him and landing on his feet. Ion turns around, getting caught by a huge clothesline, almost getting flipped inside out. Anvil looks at the downed Ion and grabs Ion up by the legs and hoists Ion into air, charging towards a turnbuckle, releasing Ion in midair for running powerbomb. Ion bounces off the turnbuckle, holding his back in pain as Anvil sets for the Cranium Fission, but Ion starts to wiggle his legs in midair and he gets out of the hold and Ion with an quick enzuigiri to the skull that sends Anvil to the floor.

Ted Cedar:
The kick sounded throughout the whole arena!

Joey Miles:
The fucked Axle up good I'm telling you.

Ion follows right behind as he waits for Anvil to stand back on his feet. Ion continues working on Anvil's leg. Anvil fights back and takes Ion to the corner with a series of kicks. Ion goes for a quick Seal the Matrix but Anvil doesn't move. Ion quickly realizes that its going to take a lot to pick up Anvil and Ion goes back to working on his leg
and ties him up. Anvil fights out and fires back with forearm shots to the face and Anvil
with right hooks and uppercuts now. Anvil looks to pick up the pace of the match and he charges at Ion, but Ion leans against the ropes and drops down, dumping Anvil out to the floor. Ion runs
the ropes, sliding out to the floor, but Anvil catches him and rams him back into the barrier.
Anvil suplexes Ion on top of the barrier and kicks him over it. Anvil looks at Ion's lifeless body and picks him up from over the barricade and puts him on his right shoulder and throws Ion into the ring. They come back in and Anvil takes Ion back to the mat and ties him up in an abdominal stretch. Anvil drops Ion and grabs Ion from the back of the neck. The referee checks on Ion as Aniul pulls his neck back and screams for him to tap out. Ion breaks the hold with elbows and beats Anvil with rights and elbows. They both get to their feet and trade shots as the crowd does dueling chants.

Ted Cedar:
This crowd is amazing tonight for these two superstars.

Joey Miles:
Who gives a fuck about the crowd.

Ted Cedar:
I do.

Joey Miles:
Shut the hell up...

Ion with forearms to Anvil but he does not move the big man. Anvil with a shoulder and then he pushes Ion over the top rope to the floor. Anvil with forearms and then he goes up top but Anvil with an uppercut and then he connects with elbow drops and then he punches Ion in the back of the head. Anvil with a butterfly suplex and Anvil rubs his forearm across Ion's face. Anvil with a bear hug but Ion with a jawbreaker. Ion tries for a sunset flip, but Anvil picks him up. Ion with a series of kicks but Anvil stays on his feet. Anvil runs into a boot. Ion with a springboard
drop kick and Anvil is knocked to his feet.
Ion with a springboard moonsault. Ion stands up and goes with with a kick to the chest to the downed Anvil, but Anvil catches Ion's leg and drops him. The exasperated Anvil charges back into battle, only to get caught up in Ion’s fast-paced offense. Anvil took a moment to regroup on the arena floor before getting back into the ring. He took control of the bout with a right hand to the jaw of Ion, grounding the Creator of the Matrix.

Joey Miles:
The right hand rocked Ion.

Ted Cedar:
Ain't no telling!

Anvil is able to connect with a slam, but he misses a leg drop and Ion tries to mount an offensive. Anvil puts him right back down with a couple of right hands, but Ion ducks through
Anvil’s leg and hits a low dropkick. Ion goes for a discus clothesline, but Anvil avoids it and tosses
Anvil to the outside. Ion lands on his feet and baits Anvil to the outside. Ion rolls to the ring, and then hits a dropkick and a rolling senton taking Anvil down to the arena floor. Back in the ring, Ion goes for the top and Anvil grabs him around the throat, but Ion rakes his arm over the top rope. Anvil catches Ion and swats him down to the
mat before throwing him down and into the ring post before following up with a low dropkick.
Ion rolls to the outside and Anvil follows, slamming him twice into the ring post before
sending him back into the ring. Anvil suplexes Ion into the top rope and he hits a big boot that sends him to the outside. Anvil quickly rolls Ion into the ring and Anvil sends Ion into the corner hard, and Ion goes down and Anvil goes for the cover.

Ted Cedar:
The first pin attempt of the match.

TWO-KICKOUT BY ION

[b]Anvil picks Ion up into a bear hug and works over Ion’s ribs. Ion fights out of the submission with a couple of strikes to Anvil's head, but he jumps right back into another bear hug. Ion elbows Anvil in the head, and he’s able to get into
sunset flip position, but Anvil doesn’t budge. He picks Ion up and eats a dropkick. Ion is able to hit a headscissors, and goes for a spinning heel kick, but Anvil ducks and retaliates with a clothesline. Anvil tosses Ion out to the floor where he lands with a pretty sick thud. Ion is able to beat the count and get to the apron, but when he tries to springboard into the ring, Anvil catches him with a big boot that sends him right back out to the floor. Anvil follows to the outside, but he eats a drop toe hold that sends him face first into the
barricade. Both men head back into the ring and Ion heads to the top where he hits a diving hesad butt from the top. Anvil comes right back with a big tilt a whirl backbreaker, going for the pin once again.

Joey Miles:
Its over...

TW-KICKOUT BY ION

He kicked out!?! The fuck!

Anvil picks up Ion without thinking and hits another backbreaker, and this time he stretches Ion across his knee. Ion fights out of it with knee’s to Anvil’s head, but he runs right into a sidewalk slam from Anvil. Anvil makes his way to the top turnbuckle, but Ion catches him and crotches him on the top. Ion goes to the top and he tries for a hurricarana, but Anvil hangs on and Ion crashes to the mat. Anvil goes for the clothesline from the top, but Ion moves and hits a big tilt a whirl slot drop and both men are down. Ion hits a flying clothesline from the second turnbuckle on Anvil, but Ion gets caught under the arm and he starts to elbow Anvil in the back of the skull and Ion counters with a tilt a whirl DDT to put Anvil down again. Ion hits a leg drop to the back of Anvil’s head and hits a giant kick to Anvil’s head. Ion goes to the top rope, but he leaps right into a big right hand from Anvil. Anvil sets up his hand, and is able to grab Ion's throat and delivers a giant chokeslam and he slowly goes for a pin attempt.

Joey Miles:
Ion is such a dumbass, not moving out the damn way.

THR-KICKOUT BY ION

Ted Cedar:
Ion is having trouble competing tonight against Axle Anvil...

Anvil shoves Ion aside as he tries to think how the second chokeslam didn't finish Ion off. Anvil with a go-behind, but Ion drops down to his knees and grabs Anvil's head in a headlock with an headlock takedown. Ion with an armdrag, then mocks Anvil. In frustration, Anvil charges at Ion, but Ion catches Anvil with a wristlock, but Anvil with a huge right hand to the jaw of Ion. Ion with one of his own, followed by a backhand chop and then locks in a side headlock. Anvil pushes Ion into the ropes and Ion with a shoulder tackle, cartwheels over Anvil, then grabs Anvil's left wrist and gets him again back into the armbar, but Anvil gets to the ropes to break the hold. The referee tells Ion to let go and Ion breaks the hold. The referee pushes Ion back, but Ion goes straight back to Anvil and Anvil rakes the eyes of Ion. Anvil takes advantage and trips up Ion and locks in a side headlock. Ion takes down Anvil and goes to his own side headlock. Ion with another shoulder tackle. but still Anvil won't go down, then Ion with a head of steam bounces of the ropes, but Anvil goes for a hip toss, but Ion rolls through and lands on his feet and quickly spins around and hits a monkey flip. Ion follows up with another armbar. Anvil backs Ion into the ropes, then whips him, but Ion goes up & over and takes Anvil to the outside with a headscissors takeover. Ion with a head of steam and takes out Jakob Steele with a tope suicida. Ion sends Anvil back in while Sandy and Alexis argue with the ref and then the ref then ejects all three from ringside as Ion smiles and has his back turned to Anvil. Anvil nails Ion from behind, but then Ion sidesteps and sends him to the outside.

Ted Cedar:
Ion seems to be in complete control as we go to commercial.

*COMMERCIAL*

Ted Cedar:
Back from commercial as Ion has Anvil once again in an armbar.

Anvil comes back with right hands, but Ion reverses a whip. Ion is sent to the apron, but he comes back with a roundhouse kick to the head. Ion heads up top, but Anvil runs up the ropes and hits a powerslam. Anvil with the cover, but Ion gets his foot on the bottom rope. Anvil stomps away on Ion, then has words with the ref. Anvil locks in a chinlock as the crowd wills on Ion. Ion fights back, but Anvil with a knee to the ribs. Anvil with left-hand jabs, followed by a big right hand. Anvil taunts the crowd with some air guitar, then drops a knee on Ion. Anvil with a hard whip to the corner, followed by another big right hand. Anvil goes to the 2nd rope, but Ion catches him with a boot to the face when Anvil leaps off. Ion with a leg sweep, then avoids a charge. Ion with a series of kicks, tiger flips over Anvil and hits a spin kick. Ion with a discus right hand, and then Ion does a little werewolf howl, and then finishes up the sequence hitting hits an angled avalanche splash in the corner, going over the top ropes, landing on the apron. Ion heads up top and hits a crossbody, knocking the big men to the mat. Ion with forearms, followed by a leaping back kick off the 2nd rope. Ion heads up top, but Anvil stops him. Anvil goes up with Ion and goes for a superplex, but Ion starts to swing with right elbows, connecting to the temple, which knocks him off. Ion gathers himself as he jumps off the top turnbuckle, flipping 450 degrees, executing the 450 Splash with tremendous force, and then hooking the leg.

Joey Miles:
This is fucking it! Ion has sealed the deal!

THREE

DING! DING! DING!

And with that, the bell sounded bringing an end to the match as C5 Ion stood tall over
that of the downed Anvil Axle.

Joey Miles:
And that was one hell of a fucking victory for C5 Ion.

Ted Cedar:
He more or less was almost ran over most of the match by Axle Anvil.

Joey Miles:
Like a Mac Semi truck more like it Ted. This shit was crazy. Ion was on a hell of a losing streak too!

Ted Cedar:
You people are worthless. You all thought Axle Anvil had the chance and well guess what he did
not. No fighting chance in hell is more like it.
