“What a night it’s been so far Joey, and with only two title matches to go, it’s only going to get better!”
“What are you talking about, the show peaked at Danny Diamond and Skye.”
“Come on partner, the action is clearly going to pick up speed, you never know what’s going to happen at Vendetta.”
“Yeah right, and next thing I know someone I care about will walk out before the commercia-“
Before Miles can finish his sentence the lights in the arena dim down for a brief moment before two columns of flames burst out of the stage as a familiar riff blares out the PA system.
“I’m digging with my finger tips…”
“Shut up…”
The fans go nuts as Evolution by Korn begins to play, and out walks the Evolution of Man, several months gone after not saying a word. Gone like an echo in the wind. Yet here he stands for the fans once more as he stares around the arena. Once the flames die down he steps forward and begins to walk towards the ring.
“As I was saying partner, anything can happen in XWA!”
Joey Miles muses himself as T.K. walks to the ring, grabbing a mic from one of the ringside staff members and rolling into the ring. As his theme music dies down, T.K. takes a moment to listen to the fans as they chant “Welcome Back”.
“Why are you welcoming me back? For all you people know I’ll just disappear again!”
Some of the fans who were a bit bitter boo at being reminded, while most get that it’s intended as a joke.
“In all seriousness, it feels good to be back in a ring. It’s been an odd period of time not wrestling, not doing what I love. And it’s been far too long since I had gold around my waist. I think it’s high time that fix that!”
The fans cheer loudly at the idea of T.K. immediately targeting the champions upon his return.
“T.K. to break Hitman Alex!”
“You say that like Alex wouldn’t be able to handle him?”
“Did you watch their last match?”
“What match?”
“Oh right that didn’t happen here, fuck you Ted.”
“?”
“I don’t care who it is, what title it is. I’m challenging all the champions, and whomever among them has the balls to face me, I’m ready-“
Yet again, an interruption occurs, however this time it comes from a flash of the lights going out, before coming back up again. Only when the lights return, another familiar face is standing in the ring. None other than T.K.’s little brother, Black Dragon! Bringing on even more cheer from the crowd. T.K. however, doesn’t look quite as pleased, more worried.
“Now dear brother, what brings you back to the ring on the day of my unannounced return?”
Dragon does what appears to be a laugh before responding.
“As if you could go anywhere and not have me follow brother. I’ve let my wrath sit on the backburner for quite some time. I dealt with Giselle and Rurouni while you went around from place to place, never staying in one place. Always challenged, always challenging. Challenging everyone EXCEPT me. So now, after nearly four years, you want to come out here and act like the nice guy? It’s not that easy big brother. No, it’s about time you atoned for your sins.”
“I was afraid you’d say that… And you know me, I’m not going to back down, but have you truly still not forgiven me Za-“
“Don’t you dare call me by that name, you lost the right after I spent my teenage years in an asylum!”
“Dragon… So I suppose that’s a no. So be it, I accept your challenge to make me ‘atone’, is there anything you want to add to that while we’re here? Are we going to go down right here, do you want a brawl. What is it you plan to do?”
“Since you’ve kindly accepted, it’ll be an I Quit match, with your career on the line. If I lose, well you get to decide now don’t you?”
“Ohhh, I could finally see your face again? I could make you my tag partner even. In fact, I think I’ll sit on it. Let’s just say you’ll owe me a non-voluntary favor if I win?”
“Fine…, I’ll see you at the American Bash then.”
“The BIG ASS American Bash little brother, mother didn’t teach us to leave words out.”
If Dragon wasn’t wearing a mask, no doubt a face of pure rage would have been seen, instead he simply stays silent, before the lights black out and come back as he disappears leaving T.K. in the ring alone as the fans seem both excited and confused at the same time as a big match has just been announced for the next pay-per-view.

The goal is to use this as a way of not fucking someone over in a big match by no-showing. If i can keep it up for this, I should be able to keep motivation for other things going forward.
