| TNA has plans once again to award the X-Division Champion coming out of this year's Destination X PPV with the chance to cash in his belt for a shot at TNA World Title. In the past two years both Chris Sabin and Austin Aries have successfully cashed in their X Titles for World Titles.
We previously reported that Sanada is expected to be finishing up with TNA sometime this fall, so it's likely a Title change will take place if TNA wants to push the X-Champ when it comes time to cash in for a title shot.
In other TNA news, Bully Ray vs Ethan Carter III has been announced for TNA's Slammiversary PPV on June 15th.
The Wolves are scheduled to defend the TNA Tag Team Championship against Sanada & The Great Muta at Wrestle-1's July 6th event at the Ryogoku Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan. |

| So Sanada is going to drop the title soon. Nice.
Hopefully to A-Double to start the greatest era that ever happened version 2. |

| I'd be happy and not happy all at once if they dropped it to Aries. It'd be EPIC if this started a push for him that should have happened ages ago, because I've always maintained Aires had the skills and personality to be TNA's main guy (ala their CM Punk, for the lack of a better analogy).
At the same time, he's been involved with this both years before now and it's sort of getting repetitive...but right now, I can't see who else you could put the belt on and give the title shot too who wouldn't be super meh... |

| It could be Kenny King, I suppose, as an extension of the MVP/Eric Young storyline. |

| There's nobody in the X Division worth giving the title shot to, just have Sanada hold the title till July, cash in for the world title shot and lose. Austin Aries shouldnt be anywhere near the X Division Title just to get a World Title shot. |

| That has zero benefit or pay off...and would be rather boring, really. |

| Even so, he needs to develop his character before taking a step up to that, even for a one off. |
