| Nintendo has shut down online services for Wii,
As of today (May 20), certain functionality offered through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection is no longer accessible.
The discontinued features include online play, matchmaking and leaderboards for many Wii, DS and DSi titles.
The affected games can still be played in offline mode and the systems' online marketplaces are still available.
Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games are unaffected by the move, but online features on titles from last-generation consoles are inaccessible when played on the latest devices.
Nintendo is apparently preparing to unveil a brand-new 3DS project at E3 next month. |

| I'm fairly certain having a PS4 doesn't mean you can play 4th gen Pokemon games online. |
