Akira vs. Scott St. Vincent Empty
PostSubject: Re: Akira vs. Scott St. Vincent   Akira vs. Scott St. Vincent EmptySat Aug 17, 2013 11:06 pm

DING DING DING!!!

The bell rings, starting the match between a new XWA Superstar, Scott St. Vincent, and one of the most expected returns in the company, Akira. The "Lightning Warrior" wants to make a good impression on his return, while "The Secret Assassin" will try to show why he's got this nickname.

Ted Cedar - Let's see who will walk out of this ring as the winner!

Adam Dennis - Isn't it obvious? Scotty will win, of course!

Ted - Oh, did we start already with this?

Adam - You know I don't like Akira. I don't even know why he returned, he should have stayed out of this company!

After some time circling the ring, both competitors get close to each other, to start the action. Scott raises his hands, as he wants to start a clinch, and Akira does the same, grabbing both of Scott's hands. However, they don't start the clinch, as Akira kicks Scott's gut, and starts his attack from now on.

Adam - Hey! That's not the usual Akira we're used to see!

Ted - They have almost the same weight, but Akira is a bit taller, so he has a reach advantage, and he's using it.

Adam - So he's getting a little bit smarter, huh?

Akira, still holding one of Scott's arms, starts twisting it, and then he hits three kicks to Scott's chest. At the third kick, he releases Scotts arm and hits the kick, a little bit stronger, making Scott fall to the mat. Since this is just the beginning of the match, Scott quickly gets up, as the fall didn't hurt him, but he starts massaging his chest, feeling a little bit of pain after the kicks. The competitors start circling the ring again, and then they get closer to each other one more time, and at this time they start the clinch. Akira gets a little bit of advantage at the beginning, but Scott quickly gets free of the clinch and goes to Akira's back. He hits some punches to Akira's back, then runs to the ropes. He bounces back from the ropes and runs back towards Akira. Akira tries to hit him with a Clothesline, but Scott ducks it. Instead of keeping running, to go to the ropes, Scott stops right after he ducks Akira's Clothesline. The momentum caused by Akira's move makes him turn around, and Scott takes advantage of this to hit a Mule Kick to Akira's gut. Then, Scott grabs the bent down Akira by the neck, and quickly falls backwards, doing a Snap DDT and hitting Akira's head on the canvas. Then, Scott covers Akira, and the referee starts counting:

1...
...and Akira moves out before the two-count.

It's a little bit to early to get a pinfall win in this match, so Scott gets up and grabs Akira by the head, getting him up asa well. He then does an Irish Whip, sending Akira to the ropes, and when the Brazilian wrestler comes back from them Scott bends down, grabbing Akira by his waist and quickly lifting him, sending him to the air and making him fall on his back, doing a Back Body Drop. Right after the fall, Akira puts his hand on his back, feeling the effects of the hard fall. Scott continues the attack, stomping Akira's body for some time to wear him down, and then he does a small jump, dropping his knee on Akira's head. Scott gets up and gets Akira up by grabbing his head again. Then, he hits some punches to Akira's head, until the moment Akira blocks one of Scott's punches, starting a combination of his own, with punches and elbow strikes. After that, Akira grabs Scott's arm and does an Irish Whip, sending him to the ropes, and preparing his arm to hit a Lariat. However, once again, when returning from the ropes, Scott ducks Akira's move, and goes to the opposite ropes, bouncing back from them. At this time, Akira was prepared for what could happen, and in a "not this time" way, he jumps and hits the returning Scott with a Dropkick to the chest, sending "The New Orleans Overlord" to the mat.

Ted - This is being a nice match, with so much action!

Adam - But I don't understand what Scott is doing, he should have finished this match already!

Ted - You can't count Akira out of this match so easily, you know?

Adam - He may have got a little bit different from old times, but I still think he doesn't belong here!

Akira gets up after the Dropkick and goes close to Scott. He positions Scott's body in a sitting position, and then starts kicking his back some times, and then hits some kicks to his chest. After all these kicks to Scott's body, Akira runs to the ropes, getting impulse, and runs back towards his sitting opponent to hit him with a strong kick to the chest, but Scott manages to evade the kick by just laying down, making Akira miss the kick. Scott takes advantage of the situation to grab Akira's body from behind and pull him to the ground, rolling up on him and pinning him. Referee counts:

1...
2...
...and Akira kicks out after the two-count.

The sneaky Scott St. Vincent gets up after the unsuccessful pinfall attempt, while Akira gets up, surprised by that attempt. He opens a smile, liking the way this match is going. He goes close to Scott, and punches him in the head. Scott returns the favor and does the same thing. And this way they start a striking exchange. Punches, chops, elbows. Both competitors hit each other with stiff strikes, until the moment Scott blocks Akira's latest punch and starts delivering a combination of punches to Akira's head, making him groggy, and then Scott puts his own head under Akira's arm while holding his body. Scott then lifts Akira and throws him back, doing a Northern Lights Suplex, competing it with a bridge, for a cover. The referee counts:

1...
2...
...and Akira kicks out at 2 and a half.

Scott gets up after that pin attempt and goes to the corner, while Akira is still down, and climbs up the top turnbuckle, in order to hit a top move. He jumps off the top turnbuckle in order to drop on Akira's body doing a Leg Drop, but Akira manages to roll out of the way, and Scott falls sitting on the mat. Akira gets up and runs to the ropes, getting impulse, and then he runs towards Scott and jumps, hitting both feet on Scott's chest, doing his signature Running Front Dropkick, which he calls Lightning Strike.

Ted - Oh man, that was VERY stiff!

Adam - C'mon, Scotty! What are you doing?

After the hard-hit Lightning Strike, Akira pins Scott. Ref counts:

1...
2...
...and Scott kicks out after the two-count.

Akira gets up, as the crowd cheers him and chants his name, and he gets pumped, as if he was feeling the fans were telling him to finish the match. And that's what he'll try to do. He grabs Scott's head and gets his opponent up, and then he lifts him, putting him on his shoulders, in a Fireman's Carry position. He wants to hit one of his finishing moves, the Area 11 V2, but Scott doesn't let him do it. He starts moving, making Akira lose his balance, and because of that, Akira drops Scott. Scott then runs to the ropes, taking impulse, and runs back towards Akira, jumping on him and making him fall. Then, monted on him, Scott starts delivering a combination of punches to Akira's head. After that, Scott gets up and, once again, goes to the corner. He wants to hit a top rope move on Akira to finally have the chance to win. He climbs up the top turnbuckle, while Akira is still down, and he jumps, making a movement with his arms and legs in mid-air before falling, in a Frog Splash attempt, but once again Akira rolls out of the way, and Scott eats the canvas. Akira continues rolling until he reaches the ropes, while Scott shakes his body in pain, feeling the effects of the missed Frog Splash. Akira gets up and takes some time to recover from the non-stop action, while Scott goes close to the corner and gets up with help from the ropes.

Adam - Damn, Scott is relying too much on his top rope moves, and he's missing them all!

Akira goes to the corner where Scott is, and starts hitting him with chops to the chest, Puroresu-style. Then, he hits some kicks to that same part, raising the damage on it. He takes Scott out of the corner, taking him to the ropes, and from there he does an Irish Whip to the opposite ropes, and when Scott comes back, he runs towards him, trying to hit him with a Running Clothesline. However, for the third time in this match, Scott evades this move, going to the opposite ropes and getting even more momentum for a running move by himself. When Scott runs back towards Akira, he tries to hit him with the same move Akira missed, but Akira also evades it, ducking the Clothesline and going to Scott's back, grabbing him from behind and lifting him, throwing him back with a German Suplex, bridging for the pin. The referee counts:

1...
2...
...and Scott kicks out before the three-count.

Akira gets up and waits for Scott to get up, and when he does that Akira runs to the ropes, in order to hit him once more. However, Scott foils Akira's plan by running to the same ropes, so, when Akira bounces back from them, he finds nobody in front of him, and has to turn around, just to eat a very hard "Rebound" Running Clothesline by Scott.

Adam - Oh, now things are getting started.

Scott moves his arms, in an "it's over"-like signal, as he wants to finish the match now. He waits for Akira to get up, and when he does it, Scott grabs him by the head, trying to move his body sideways to hit his finishing move, the Robbed Innocence, but Akira manages to prevent Scott from doing it. Scott struggles to do it, until the moment Akira kicks him in the gut, making him stop. Then, Akira jumps, trying to grab Scott's neck to do his finisher, the Area 11, but Scott moves his head back and Akira misses it, falling back-first on the mat. Scott continues the attack by quickly jumping and hitting a Leg Drop on the fallen Akira. Then, he goes to the corner, to try to finish things from there once again.

Ted - This is not gonna end well...

Adam - Shut up, Ted! This is getting over, now!

Scott climbs up the top turnbuckle and prepares to hit a move from there. He jumps and does the frog move again, in another Frog Splash attempt. However, Akira gets up when Scotty jumps, so he can't "abort" the move attempt, and then Akira jumps, grabbing Scott's head in mid-air, and crashing his face on to the canvas.

Ted - OH MAN!!! Akira hits the Area 11 in mid-air, out of nowhere!

Adam - And i thought lightning couldn't strike the same place twice... Damn, Scotty! You missed that f'n move THREE F'N TIMES!!

After hitting his finisher, Akira pins Scott, and the referee counts:

1..
2...
3!!!

The referee makes the signal, the bell rings, and the match is over.

DING DING DING

Laura Watts - Here's your winner: "Lightning Warrior"... AKIRA!!!

Akira's theme, "Lazy Mind", starts playing, as Akira gets up from the pinfall and the referee raises his hand, and the fans cheer him out loud and start chanting "Welcome Back!". Akira asks for a microphone, and when he gets it, he says one thing only, but the only thing that counts here.

Akira - Ladies and gentlemen, lightning is striking XWA for the second time. AKIRA IS BACK!!

After saying that, Akira drops the microfone and gets out of the ring, walking up the ramp and slapping hands with his fans, and after going to the stage, he gets out of the arena, going backstage.
