Injustice: Gods Among Us is reportedly set to receive a sequel in the future, according to reports from WonderCon.

According to Furious Fanboys, Injustice Gods Among Us 2 (or whatever it ends up being called) was briefly mentioned in a segment discussing the upcoming Arkham Knight, due out later this year.

We currently don't know who's developing the game, and there's no word on a fixed release date. Assuming NetherRealm are back at the helm, one might assume the studio is working on a new Mortal Kombat title before returning to DC. If this is the case, a release next year may be unlikely. Then again, if a new studio is heading up the project, a release in 2015 isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

I actually just bought the first one but it's amazing. I kinda expected a sequel, considering the ending.

I hope there's like team battles in Injustice two. So I could play as the Justice League
