PWInsider.com is reprting the latest backstage news on TNA creative is many are upset with how things are being handled. Those who once had access to more information are upset by how secretive things have become as it relates to creative. It's said that very few people knew Eric Young was going to win the world title.

The report goes on to say that many feel if the decision makers in the company put the same amount of energy they do at keeping secrets toward ideas and planning, the quality could improve.

As far as Young's title win being a rip off of Daniel Bryan's WWE title win, the report says those in TNA deny this and say Young's title win came on the last live episode of Impact for a few weeks and they wanted to surprise people.

I honestly don't think they just copied WWE. They have been pushing Young for a good while now, it was just terrible timing...but they have to do the best.shocking stuff on the live Impacts, otherwise it's shit on the taped. They've made that mistake several times.

It would of been best had it been BUILT UP and probably done on PPV, like Slammiversary, where the show is supposed to mean something.

Oh for sure. I'm not saying it was done well at all lol.

I get they were looking for that shock value, though.

I lol'ed at the "if they put as much energy into creative as they do in keeping things secret" line: how much energy does it take to:

a) Not tell someone something
b) Not answer someone's questions about booking if they ask
c) Not distribute scripts far ahead of time, or to distribute scripts to less people

Not telling more people what's going on isn't an energy-sapping exercise. If they told the entire TNA locker room of their plans it wouldn't make the product better: in fact, the complaint is those who are used to being in the know were left out of the loop, so I guess they think the product was better when "less energy was put into" telling them before.

Some butthurt people didn't know ahead of time what was going to happen, which probably made them look stupid or feel stupid.

TNA is poorly booked. It would be poorly booked if they held Town Hall meetings to tell everyone six months in advance what was going to happen ... OK, six weeks ... OK, six days ... OK, they probably don't know six minutes ahead of time what's going to happen.
