It seems like I did. I wanted to have built in breaks, but it seems like I missed you guys needing one. Vendetta 76 was absolutely terrible as far as showing goes.

Should we take a week off and make our next card due on the 25th/26th?
Should we go on as if that monstrosity didn't happen?

I honestly don't think the problem is anyone needing a break. There's always off weeks, even ones as bad as the last one. Some people that got booked probably aren't even here anymore, others procrastinate, some are busy, etc. People always say it picks up in the summer, so hopefully that's true this year as well.

Even this week was kind of an off week for me. I got lazy with my match, but I still posted though. I don't think we should take a week off. Maybe we could extend the deadline of the next card and see how if it will pan out. But if it doesn't, it's really the other fedders problem.

Whereas I'd prefer if the fed didn't take a small vacation, I can understand if people who have been here a little long need one. Though it could have just been a bad week (I didn't look up how Vendetta 75's turnout was) and in that case I'd say continue on as normal, if 77 is also a bad turnout then I think a break would be in order.

I think it would be brainless not to push this card back a week. On the last card we had the same amount of No-Shows and I think we are just in that period of time where, there are Final Exams happening and that these are the last few weeks of School. I think it would be smart to push this card back a week..Just for the people in the Fed to collect themselves and bounce back.

If pushing the card back is what is intended, why not just post the card then extend the deadline? The same effect is given (essentially a free week is given) but the application is different i.e. a week's rest or an extra week to write something up and get it posted.

Well it's summer vacation in my country so I don't know why it's such a busy time for most of you guys. If we must have a rest week then let it be. But I really think that we should try to extend the deadline of the next card. If it doesn't work, we should try the rest week. If that doesn't work either, it's not your fault anymore. :\

It's finals time for me. Can't speak for others.

^ I suggest just extending the deadline for a week. It's practically the same with having a break week but at least fedders already know who they'll be facing and what stip is their match. And they could at least write their match little by little.

Perhaps for no-shows we could just pick a random winner or call the match a double count out or something instead of just saying the match was a no show. If 77 turns out the way 76 did we should take a one week break or allow for the 78 to have two weeks.

Honestly, this stuff happens all the time. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Doesn't bother me either way whether we take a week off or not dude, so your call. I've always said people who constantly no show shouldn't be booked, that includes promos.

I agree with Snoopz, though - breaks tend to do jackall from past experience.

I was/have been unable to dedicate time to write up RPs and promos due to school.

Maybe we should have match sign ups for each show, and If people no show there might be a punishment as they had already committed to show.

Fuck match sign ups. That just encourage's people to not show. If you get busy and can't have a match, PM the GM.

If we had match signups, there'd be two matches per card, and Snoopz would be in both of them.

I would be OK with match sign-ups if I thought it would go over well.

Also, I think we should take an extra week, however that is just me speaking personally. I don't know if it would actually be beneficial, but to me it would be personally.

I think we need to make a quick decision, it's either card today or no card today.

And personally I want a card today.
