As announced on Impact Wrestling this week, Chris Sabin will be facing Bully Ray for the World Heavyweight Championship, with a major stipulation added to the match. The title will be defended inside a steel cage, and if Bully Ray does not win the match, he will never again fight for the world championship.

If Aces & Eights loses I could easily see Knux getting canned. He doesn't exactly do much anyway and they've already lost Doc. So it'll certainly begin the fall of Aces & Eights with it coming full circle at BFG.

But I'm intrigued to see who wins the ladder match. Personally I hope it's AJ, he needs a PPV win as he lost at Slammiversary. Plus I want AJ to win the BFG Series and win the title at BFG... but that's just me.

People forget that AJ was promised a shot at the title at THIS year's BFG per stipulation of a match he had last year where, whoever got pinned, wouldn't receive a title shot until BFG '13. He just HAS to win.

Yeah, but that was last year. Storm was meant to win the World Title again at Lockdown last year, but shit changes, so AJ's plan probably will too.

Don't be shocked if AJ doesn't win. I mean, they haven't mentioned that stipulation on AJ for a while now. Fairly certain they would have emphasised more if it were happening.

Yeah, Knux is all but gone really. At least it'll be done in a storyline and not randomly. That match has been moved back a week anyway now.

Considering Hogan said it and the idea can be scrapped all-together, I'm still looking at it as a possibility.

If he was promised a title shot then he wouldnt be in the BFG series and there would be no point to it since the contender was already named

Of course they're not gonna scrap the entire BFG series in favor of one guy. There's always a catch.... OR the idea is scrapped already. There's still that possibility that AJ can somehow win the series.

There would be a point to being in it. Called a build up...

If AJ has the #1 contendership to the title at Bound for Glory and isnt in the Bound for Glory series, then whats the buildup exactly?

He was saying he was #1 contender, he meant he was promised a shot behind the scenes at BFG and, thus, wins the BFG series as that's how you do it.

Yeah I was just gonna say he was promised/guaranteed a shot at the title behind the scenes. But the stipulation on-screen was that he wasn't eligible for a title shot UNTIL Bound for Glory. They're obviously gonna begin to build it up more probably starting with this Ladder Match for AJ. At first I was iffy about this new gimmick, but now it's got me interested, especially now that he's speaking more and not being so silent.

I like it a lot, personally. His new music really suits him and he's changed his moveset to accommodate the persona - that Calf Killer is pretty sweet imo.

I think they've lost a little bit of focus on him over the past month or so, but hopefully that picks up. I really hope he ends up winning the thing. Him in the main event alone will draw people to buying the show.
